"Amazing date night spot. We stopped here before a concert and had curry ramen and a chicken sandwich. We also had egg rolls, but we devoured those before I got a photo (there were 3 in the order). It was busy in the restaurant, so I'm glad we made a reservation ahead of time. Service was great. Highly recommend!"
"A family owned spot that seems to cater its taste for Asian foods in Chinese, Korean and Japanese with a bit of Thai. Very home styled recipes very delicious. Worth a try so far. I really like a place that serves quality tea that's a big plus. The bibimbap was ok the hot pot didn't manage to crisp the bottom enough and the egg wasn't runny enough and the pepper paste (Gochujang) was not to be found However it was quite delusions Service 4 stars polite and very helpful Atmosphere 3 stars quaint, a bit dark but quite intimate with a family or friend group. Price: $$$ a bit highBathrooms 2 stars"

"Overall this hibachi style Japanese style restaurant was really good! The food came out quickly and all tasted great. The staff was friendly and on top of it all. And the prices were pretty reasonable for how much you get too. I started off with some yummy green vegetable gyoza which were good and came with dipping sauce! For my main course I ordered the scallop hibachi dinner. It was very filling and had plenty left over to take home. To start with they bring you a tasty salad and soup, both were really good! Then the main plate was seared scallops, mixed grilled veggies and a big pile of fried rice. Also came with yum yum sauce. All of it tasted great and there was enough for 2 ppl to be honest. The atmosphere was quiet and comfortable. Great place for a date night too! Overall everything was wonderful. The only surprise was that they don't do all the fun cooking stuff in front of you like other hibachi places I've been to in the past. But tastes great and would go again when I crave this food!"
"I wish I could have been here before COVID, but it appears they have made some pretty extensive changes to the place because of COVID. For the most part there is no dine in. They have put up a wall and there are two tables in the area to sit in which are not attached to the regular HVAC system.... cold in winter. That being said, the food was good. I got a tuna bowl and the tuna was fresh. My husband got ramen and really liked it, but there is no dine in experience. Everything is served on disposable plates/containers. I ordered a hot sake and in came in a coffee cup. All drinks are bottles (even water).Typically when I go out to eat, I want the experience and service too.... this is not the place, but would be great for take out."
"Everything was delicious. Would go back again. It was a fun food hall market style above the Kroger and for an out of towner- I'll recommend any day and I'll be back. The lemongrass broth was so yummy! The baos were great, and my guy was digging the pork belly ramen. Everything too notch!"
"Some of the best ramen that I have ever tasted! The servers and staff were amazing and created a welcoming atmosphere. There was good music and intimate spaces for you to sit. Food came out in a good amount of time and was so delicious! I will definitely be coming back several times."
"Visiting Lexington and wanted to find. "U" restaurant for my A to Z challenge. I am so glad I found this place First of all Ramen is so delicious and comforting and this place has a variety of them. I ordered the chicken katsu ramen. It is so yummy Pablo crusted chicken spinach bamboo sprouts and those noodles. Service was quick and they all were very nice. The only downfall is the traffic. It's hard to get in and out of the parking lot. It's worth it"

Beat the evening rush and was able to find a table indoors. Service from the start was very amicable and prompt. Enjoyed sitting next to a fireplace on a cool night. Waiter asked about allergies and promptly gave me a menu that was off marked with gluten option and what can be made gluten free. Food was amazing, the flavors and tasted very fresh. Definitely recommend this place and hope to one day come back when in the area.

Very good hot pot. If you like really spicy food get the spicy seafood, but be forewarned that it is extremely spicy. My husband and I both ordered or own which was a mistake. One order is plenty to share.

I've been to this place before because my coworkers rave about going when I visit the home office. This time I stopped in on my own because I had been craving sushi for about a week. I have a sesame allergy and every time I come I let them know and they take it very serious. I appreciate them taking it serious because Ive been to sushi restaurants elsewhere and they take the note but then I'll have sesame on my food when it's brought to me . My waitresses name was Miss Josephine, probably one of the sweetest ladies you'll ever meet, very attentive and a smile that'll light up the dimly lit room! We all sat in 1 particular part of the restaurant but no one was disturbed by the other, that was nice since I was dining along. I particularly enjoyed the couple next to me conversation because they were conversing with the chef! It was amazing to watch the chef come by and interact with them and even them saying thank you chef from across the room. You could tell they enjoy the place often and the people who work there enjoy them coming. I would definitely recommend!

Good food, clean environment, Fast service, nice wait staff. Hours are inconvenient but when you're good like they are you can do that I guess.

Looking for a quick lunch option and craving dumplings, I tried Dope for the first time. The most notable thing about the whole experience was the employee. We did not feel welcome upon entering, it was almost like she was bothered to have us dining there. As this was a new restaurant for me, I tried asking a few questions about the menu options, and was again met with a condescending attitude. The dumplings came out, and I will say those were great, really the only enjoyable part of this visit. Definitely recommend the cilantro maggi aioli for dipping. But I felt rushed to leave and do not really want to come back since the employee made it so uncomfortable.

For a long time I've felt Louisville needed an great Ramen spot! This is it! I stopped in for lunch, service was fast! The waitress was super helpful! I had the strawberry milk tea. I'm not sure how you don't love milk tea. Strawberry isn't my fave, but this was good. I'd definitely have it again.I started with a pork chasu bun. So solid! I could have made a meal out of these! (Could very well come back just and do that). Don't you judge me!!!!I also had the Kiwami Shiro. I toyed with adding things, but decided to have it as is before I tried my hand at chef. This is a solid bowl of noodles! Great portion size, great flavor, and balance of ingredients. The broth got progressively better as I got to the bottom. I'd be curious to come feel the vibe of this place at night. During the day, very chill and quiet. I can see how it would be an awesome spot later in the evening.

I enjoyed my meal at Ume. I bought one of the Xooker vouchers and it was easy and painless to use it at this location. Definitely recommend doing that to save some money. I thought the ramen was pretty good. I had the spicy ramen and it was definitely spicy. Not lacking on the spice. We also got takoyaki and it was delicious. Service was great!

We just moved here and had many ramen options back in the burbs of Chicago, so we we were wondering how this place would compare. It is outstanding! One thing my hubby pointed out is that this ramen didn't have any fishy taste that many of the ramens back in IL had.We both thought the broth was very tasty, rich and flavorful, with a really nice marinated egg and lots of fresh, yummy toppings. We had the chicken and the beef ramen and both entrees were really good.Service was fast and friendly. The ramen was actually some of the best we've ever had. We will definitely be back.

"1st trip in, and I really enjoyed it.I had Spicy Ramen and had a choice of 3 heat levels. I got the middle.(My eyes were watering). We both enjoyed our meals.(We tried chopsticks & gave up on them)Everything seemed like healthy eating. That's good enough for me."
"The food was better than anticipated, but the service was just okay. It was one of those places that was good, but probably won't return. The crab rangoon was good, but not the best I ever had. They did have plenty of cream cheese inside though. The misosaurus ramen was delicious. Spicy, but not making you sniffle. The only thing I wish they did was put a knife in the utensils or cut the pork smaller. It was soft, but not soft enough to pull apart with a fork or spoon. The spicy shredded chicken was actually delicious. Very flavorful! The size of the bowl was rather large and I ended up bringing leftovers home. The tonkatsu was also good and spicy! It was a bit more expensive with it coming to just shy of $40 before the tip. Not quite sure the bowl was worth $16 each. You can customize the bowls too, but that's $1-5 more. Plenty of seating, but at an empty restaurant at noon it was odd how long it took for everything. Overall, good but not worth going back to."
"Reasonable priced with awesome food and service! Our server was so sweet and came just enough times. Not an annoying amount at all."
"I am SO excited to have this so close to home! Although I have frequented the location out on 10th, dare I say this hibachi even beats them! For only the 2nd day open, they have it figured out! First of all - monkey brains - who knew? Avocado stuffed with crab and spicy tuna, tempura fried and drizzled with yum yum sauce. Soooooo gooooood!!!Miso soup was hot and flavorful (and I got my order to go! It was still hot when I got home!) I chose the shrimp and scallop hibachi with noodles - IYKYK. These noodles are BOMB!! Amazing location - can't wait to have sushi in front of the big front window that rolls up in the summer. Thank you for sharing your yummies in downtown Jeff!!!"
"Good ramen at a good price. It's not upscale or gourmet, but it is, importantly, tasty. Deserving of five stars because I cannot think of anything I was dissatisfied by. Everything landed right in the good range, at prices I couldn't disagree with. It's interior is cute and chic, emphasizing multiple textures and tied together by a light wood. It's just modern enough, without it feeling like it is trying to be trendy. Service is fine and fast. Again, not a gourmet dining experience, but it doesn't pretend to be."
"Absolutely my go to for DoorDash ramen! So quick and always so fresh!! I've never been disappointed also their veggie croquettes are to die for!!!"
"Service was quick and easy. Our server was friendly and helpful but didn't hover. The vibe was chill, verging on hip. The menu is pretty straightforward. Standard Ramen Shop fare done exceptionally well. You can get sushi. You can get the usual appetizers. But, this Chashu Don? It's comfort food made by someone who might actually care about me. It's a friend who loves you enough to toss something green on top but remains judgement free of the consequences of all that pork and rice in that bowl. It's the crispy charred bits and the salty, seasoned absolution you get when you're spilling out your soul while filling your belly with family that makes this dish perfect. Funny how food can make you feel like you're going to be okay. You can get that here."
"Everything I tried here was good. I ordered 3 rolls and all came out very tasty. Large portions and I feel the prices are normal. Idk... I'm not from this area but I have paid more for much less quality, so I feel the prices are fair. Again not from the area but it was worth my hard earned money. I will be back when I am in the area."
