"During my last visit to Dragon King's Daughter I ordered the stuffed Wontons, the Pork Steamed Buns and two sushi rolls. The Bao Buns were amazingly delicious! The stuffed Wontons were extremely scrumptious as well. Unfortunately the sushi (which should have been the star) fell flat. The "Sushi & The Banshees" roll was okay. Sadly the "My Neighbor Toto Toro" roll was rather lackluster. I had my friends give it a try as well and none of us were impressed. Overall I would say that the appetizers were so much better than the sushi itself which was a bit disappointing. The service was great, the drinks were as well and the atmosphere was welcoming, modern and warm."
"We stopped in for dinner tonight and were impressed by how quickly we were served. The food was delicious and our server extremely knowledgeable. Perfect spot for date night or a family dinner."

"Our neighborhood Sushi bar is the bees!!We do miss the sushi bsr being open. Since Covid, togo is the highest rate its ever been and the sushi bar is gone. The sushi is felicious and their daily deals are a steal! For someone short with extra love on their bottom like me, sitting at the sushi bar was more comfortable than the tiny but tall uncomfortable chairs and higher tables."
"Always a pleasure to have dinner here it's authentic and varied as they have many things that Sapporo would not have and it's much more quiet and enjoyable with small groups and family. I love the udon or the soba as well as the assortments of pickles Tsukemono. Everyone's polite without being intrusive and the price is reasonable ."
"I picked up takeout from Osaka for dinner, and the sushi was prepared with care and tasted very good. While there are many sushi options in Louisville, some other locations offer a better ambiance for dining in. However, since I was getting my food to go, the rundown exterior and interior did not bother me.I called in my order, and the employee who took it was kind and efficient. It took about 20 minutes for my order to be ready, which was perfectly fine. Parking was a bit tricky on a Friday night; I had to park four blocks away, but that's to be expected on a weekend. Osaka is a solid neighborhood staple."
"Yuki is one of the best restaurants in Bowling Green. The sushi is amazing and the service is top tier. Could not recommend this restaurant enough."
"They've remodeled and upped their offerings. Highly recommend the new style sashimi special. 9 pieces and you pick three different fish. We had tuna, white tuna and salmon. All super fresh and delicious. No rice. A bed of high quality lettuces with sesame ponzu dressing. Good ginger house salad. Another of my favorites is the Love Wrap also without rice so great if you prefer low carb. Chic atmosphere and friendly, quick service. Conveniently located next to Trader Joe's."
"We came here for hibachi in mid June. Hibachi is a fun thing to do with kids, and mine enjoyed themselves. My son is still glowing about the clear soup, and they don't eat fried rice...ever. But they eat it here! Really enjoyed ourselves. Wait staff and chef/entertainer were friendly and lively. We had a great time. We forgot to call for a reservation, so we arrived on a Saturday right at open. We were glad we did, as the room filled up while we were there. This is our go to for this style of food!"
"We always receive excellent service here. Servers are knowledgeable and attentive. The food is delicious and always well presented. The restaurant is modernly decorated and clean."
"I am addicted to Bento Asian Kitchen's Jalapeño Chicken. I seriously crave this dish way too much!!! If you love hot & spicy deliciousness you MUST go to Bento and order Jalapeño Chicken. Located in Middletown Bento is located close to Crumble Cookie, Feeders Supply Walmart. The staff are so nice and it's super clean. I like how they bring your food in to go containers because the amount is so much. Just put your lid on and take off. Perfect. My son ordered Orange Chicken with Lo Mein which was quite tasty as well. Don't forget to grab a fortune cookie on your way out. I'll be back soon I'm sure. I can't stay away!"
"Excellent service from everyone. Good is exceptional. The surprise was three tools when I ordered Spicy Combo Roll. All delicious. My husband had Rice with beef. We enjoyed our meal on a cold winter night."
"Ft. Fuji is a favorite spot for many near UofL's campus. The hibachi is probably the most popular, but they also have some sushi rolls and a variety of other dishes. You can order online, call ahead, and just order in store for carry-out or dine-in. Regardless, they move pretty quickly, and you'll get to eating before you know it. I personally always get two yum yum sauces, and if I'm treating myself, I'll get a bubble tea as well (it's not my favorite, but I like it)! Parking can be a little limited over that way, and definitely don't park at the strip mall across the street. There are meters around though! It's a nice place to grab a casual but tasty lunch or dinner from!"

The staff were super helpful, and so were the other customers! We couldn't decide what to order and someone at the next table helped us out. The sushi was really good, but the star of the meal was the Japanese seafood curry. It was so delicious, I couldn't help but scarf the whole thing down. Unfortunately the Al pastor bibimbap wasn't as flavorful, and our appetizers were only okay. However, the drinks and the vibe were on point, so I think if you know what you like you'll be very pleased overall. Nothing was bad, but the curry pulled all the focus for me. Would happily come again, it ruled.

I visited Oishii Sushi for a lunch date and it was a great option for lunch. They really came to our table right away, took our drink order and were very effective and efficient on getting our order in and to our table. I tried the calamari and Oishii Fried Roll. Let's start with the calamari. Very interesting as I have never had calamari in long strips, only circles. It was fine, I go back-and-forth with if I would buy it again. Their sushi is very big. Where are you? Have to take multiple bites for just one piece. The sushi with overall was good and I would definitely order again from this location.

I really enjoyed the variety and flavor of the sushi. I'm an avid hotate, raw scallop, enthusiast. Not being on the coast generally limits my ability in my travels to be able to find raw scallops. I was happy to find they did have this on their menu. The service was prompt and polite. The price was reasonable. I spent $42 for 3 rolls, a glass of wine and that included tip.The ambiance is simple, pleasant, quiet and fresh.I would eat here again.

We arrived just before five o'clock for dinner as the restaurant opened. We were seated quickly. Our server was very pleasant and friendly. There was music playing in the background but not too loud. Just right. Everything was clean and neat in this restaurant. We ordered two appetizers: shrimp tempura and a whitefish tempura. Both were excellent - fried but not greasy at all. My wife had the Teriyaki Shrimp dinner and said that it was cooked perfectly. She really liked the flavor of the sauce. I had a steak tonight and it was tender and juicy. What an excellent meal! It was so good that we placed an order of sushi rolls to go (for lunch tomorrow). Give this place a try the next time you want Japanese food. Be patient though - they get busy quickly.

Tried this place on a Friday night at 6:30 PM it was crowded, although we were quickly seated at a Hibachi table, with two other small groups. Nice people good conversations while we were enjoying our cocktails. Sushi and sashimi were good, way too much dressing on the salad I would ask on side, entrées very good as well. Chef did a good job without whole lot of the usual fanfare. Our server Amy did a great job as well. Overall kind of typical hibachi place but with better food and service

"Best Chinese takeout in Louisville! Super fast service, nice staff, delicious food. If it's Friday night and you don't want to cook, go get oriental cafe!"
"The food and tea was delicious. The Onigiri and Karaage combo was filling, the chicken was perfectly cooked with a light crisp. Their Genmaicha tea was flavorful. I was given a complementary chocolate coffee dessert that was rich but not overly sweet. Their yuzu dessert was so fluffy and light with a perfect zest. Everyone is very friendly and kind. I definitely loved the ambience of the café as it was very soft and cozy. They are dog friendly. When I walked in they approached the dogs and started praising my pups which I appreciated."
"The food here is a grade or two above the typical Chinese fare. The service has always been good and friendly and the restaurant is clean."
"I first went here with my friend (let's call him YD) who was also a musician! He attended the University of Kentucky with me. I believe he graduated early. Either way, he said that he could eat a BUNCH of sushi. He couldn't eat as much as me and my friend E. The tradition here is to order in waves of 6 so as to receive your sushi on the coveted "sushi boat." It's gorgeous. You and your friend must then order 2 waves of sushi boat. Then, you must end with a single "Baked Philly" roll. It's a tradition. You will thank me but also hate me as that is a bunch of sushi. Will you find yourself saying a prayer that you make it through all of the rolls? Likely. Then you go next door to the Game X Change and find yourself a copy of "The Original Kings of Comedy" with Steve Harvey, Bernie Mac, Cedric the Entertainer, and D. L. Hughley. I only subtract a star because the copy we bought was BUSTED! Didn't play all the way through! SMH."
"Food was really good. This was my first time eating here. Had the beef teriyaki. Service was very friendly and the interior was really nice."
"This visit was for wifey, our daughter and grand-daughter's birthday. A tradition for years. Our server was Jessie and our Chef was Danthe (Jake). Jessie was very friendly and attentive. Jake put on a wonderful show and I won't disclose his special surprises in his performance. All the food was excellent which included salad, soup chicken, steak, vegetables and rice. We also had 3 different Sushi's which were very good."
"The customer service at this place is exceptional. The staff is always friendly and willing to accommodate any special requests. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a delicious and hassle-free dining experience."
"When in Frankfort and the craving for hibachi strikes Ginza is the place to be. Excellent sushi selection, lots of menu options and great entertainment by the chefs at the grill. My friend and I enjoyed much needed girl time over the weekend and Ginza did not disappoint for lunch."
"We made a reservation just in case it was busy, but we didn't really need to! There was no wait on arrival and the server had us sit wherever we wanted. The vibe was quiet, chill, and easy. Our sushi was pretty dang good... Which really, is what you should go for. It was reasonably priced and fresh! We also ordered the tonkotsu ramen, but meh - their strength is in the sushi (as far as what we ordered). If you're REALLY just jonesing for some noods, the ramen is just fine. All of the ingredients were just really bland and didn't really add anything to the bowl. Gonna give them five stars anyway because they're not a ramen shop and everything else was great. We got away with something like $40 for two people (including a generous tip)!"
"Great food and staff. Parties are always fun! If it's a weekend make sure to call ahead."
"Went to a friends house across the river and the group decided to order some Chinese food. The reviews led us to Onion Restaurant. A quick order through Doordash and here we are.The food, was... alright. Just not what I'm used to when it comes to standard American Chinese food. The garlic chicken was swimming in sauce and was oddly sweet. Hot and Sour was decent, but once again, oddly sweet. Egg rolls and the fried rice left a lot to be desired. Their saving grace: they threw in some fresh Chinese donuts.Had a pretty extensive menu ranging from boba tea to sushi. To sum it up: Not the best, not the worst."
"Year after year they are consistent with hot and tasty Chinese. The Thai is great and Hibachi is good if you have the time. Only wish is that their fried rice was better, I had asked for white rice and got the fried by mistake.Sushi is excellent, possibly best in area. This month they had a rival sushi. I am always team Marshall except for their sushi rolls the WVU was the better sushi pick.Food delivered quickly and service was friendly. Can be a bit loud inside on weekend."
"Drove by this place when leaving the Center for Performing Arts at EKU on our way back to Lexington. Pleasantly surprised! My son and I had the Steak Bento box. The steak hibachi was awesome. The dumplings were cold and the California roll was marginal. My daughter ordered crab Rangoon roll, which was pretty awesome. And the wife went with the steak sushi bowl, which was equally awesome. So, overall, this place is a definite hit. We'll be back any time we're in Richmond."
"The sushi here is pretty good and fresh, and while I've never done the hibachi, where I sat I could see the hibachi and it looks like a lot of fun, it seems they do hibachi right if you're looking for it here. The place gets lively right around 6. It's usually bustling and talkative. I always love a side salad with the ginger dressing before my sushi and this one is just fine. It's not a standout from any other sushi place, pretty standard, but it hits the spot. This latest time I went with my parents we got the tempura shrimp as an appetizer and it was pretty good. I do wish the tempura sauce would've been a little more flavorful. My non-sushi eating parents got the seafood combo teriyaki style, and they really enjoyed it. I took a few bites and it was very nice -- the scallops weren't over cooked, they were very tender, same with the shrimp. The teriyaki sauce was well balanced, not too salty or sweet, just right. Their crunch munch roll here is my favorite. It's generously filled with spicy crab, the shrimp is nice on the outside, and the tempura flakes add a good crunch, and the spicy dressing finishes it off with some heat. I also like to get an unagi roll, and theirs is better than most places. My sister, however, got the volcano roll and it wasn't very good. It was baked or steamed in foil, so the rice didn't hold together and it fell apart trying to eat it, they put way too much spicy mayo and that got all mixed in with the rice. It was literally a hot mess. She hated to use this word, but she said it was terrible. I tried it and agreed. That's probably the only bad note to make. But overall, this is probably one of the better sushi/Japanese spots in the area"
"I love Yuki's, but if you live in BG, you know that that place is crazy busy and crazy loud. I also couldn't order to go from them. So... Shogun Bistro it is. I recommend all things sushi for take out. Be sure to time your online order for when you know that you can get there! Excellent presentation and taste!"
"Decided to come here because they had hibachi listed on their menu. It wasn't what we thought it would be when we arrived. I ordered the chicken hibachi dinner and my fiancé ordered the orange chicken. We also opted for the crab Rangoon since it's sweet. The food was served quickly. The presentation was really nice. I was not a fan of the hibachi - too sweet and I really wanted something savory. The crab Rangoon was lacking flavor but was better dipped in sweet & sour sauce. My fiancé was pleased with his meal. The eggrolls looked overcooked but he said they were good. I don't see us coming back here."
"Fantastic lunch experience! Every was the best version of everything, best ramen, best rice, best noodles, best dessert, etc. So delicious! Try the Yum Yum roll! You will not be disappointed! The staff were very friendly and kind. It was definitely a fun experience and environment, especially for my kids, they have a robot waiter bring you your food. They thought it was the coolest thing!"
"Having a dinner and movie type of night, this was my roomies choice for dinner. If you get there early enough before the dinner rush you are promptly seated. For starters, my roomie and I ordered the volcano as our alcoholic beverage of choice. One is plenty, and has tons of alcohol. For appetizers, we split a spicy tuna roll. For entrees, we both opted for the filet mignon and chicken. All entrees come with soup, salad, veggies, and fried rice. Our chef was spectacular! Cooked our meal to perfection and did an amazing job with entertaining us. The food is plenty, even though prices may seem steep. I highly recommend dining in and coming in for the experience. This place is fantastic and you will definitely be going home with a happy belly!"
"La Hiro is located right near the Sakura Japanese Grocery store over in Florence. It's quite a bit of a drive, but we stopped by when I came back to town from my flight into CVG.I assumed that this place specialized in sweets since it's in the name, and so I was determined to try something out. We came in around 2:30 PM and they still had the lunch menu available, so that was a relief since usually dinner is expensive, though I'm not super knowledgeable about their menu or the differences to say the least.Generally, their dishes aren't too terribly expensive. I ordered a Tonkatsu and the SO ordered sashimi. The tonkatsu was about the size of my palm, came with sauce and a mini salad. All of it came with miso and salad. The SO's sashimi came with 3 pieces of each fish and also came with miso and salad. Just the way that my dish was presented, you could tell there was something a little bit different. The owners take a lot of time 'designing' and plating their dishes. You could really see and taste the 'homemade' love with an inkling of elegance. While the portions aren't excessive, and the prices might not be completely on point (speaking specifically to non-main kind of entrees), you are eating a meal made with a lot of heart. This is really the first time I've experienced this. The whole place bleeds of heart and you can tell that it's a restaurant where the owners had dreamed of opening it, where the husband wants to serve fresh fish, and the wife wants to make delicious and beautiful desserts.I was bummed that they didn't have the green tea cake, and even though it was late by bakery standards, they had many cakes and sweets still available. It doesn't seem like all of them are on the menu, so you I'm assuming she's always experimenting with new techniques and flavors. I opted for a raw cheesecake with a jello top with cherry blossoms, or sakura, imbedded. The dessert was so delicate yet rich. It wasn't too sweet and it wasn't heavy at all. I could have eaten the entire slice by myself! Overall, the bill came out to be about 26$ for 2 people, filling me up quite well, though leaving him a bit on the half full side, and with tip bumped that up to $30. It's not any more expensive than other legit Japanese restaurants, though I wish it were closer! I'll definitely be coming back to try some more cakes :)"
"I was babysitting my niece and asked her what she wanted for dinner. We talked through a few things before she said hibachi. We love going to a hibachi grill!Asiana is a bit different than other hibachi grills I have been to. It's unique and fun. Their actual hibachi grill area is smaller than I thought it would be but it was perfect for this restaurant setting. They had tables all over and they still cooked your food on this hibachi grill regardless of where you sat. My niece and I were the only ones sitting at a hibachi grill when we first got there, so we got to watch our chef make not just our food but the food for others who were sitting in the restaurant and also to go/delivery orders. The only slight disappointment was that our chef didn't do much of a "show" like we normally experience - especially with my niece sitting with me. It's ok though, we still enjoyed it.I had the filet hibachi and my niece had the kids shrimp hibachi (this kid can eat her weight in shrimp). Onions don't agree with my belly so I asked for no onions in the rice and veggies. They were very wonderful to accommodate. We got our rice, then our protein, and then our veggies on our plate. The kids hibachi comes with a choice of soup or salad while the adult one comes with both. My niece got the salad and our salads and my soup came out before chef started cooking. It was delicious - I love the ginger dressing! After all of our food was plated, I had to wait before I was able to ask for some yum yum sauce. They just handed me the entire bottle instead of portioning it out, which was fine by me. Overall, we had a great visit. It was still $50+ (after tip) for my niece and I, but we had a great evening together. She gave it a 10 out of 10 and double thumbs up."
"This was a last minute decision & we were not disappointed. The food was excellent. The steak was very tender & the chicken well cooked with a generous portion of rice & veggies. But the highlight was our hibachi chief! He was the BEST I ever had! He engaged with the customers & had all of us singing "I want it that way"! We will definitely be back. No photos because we all were laughing too much."
"Food was fresh and yummy. Jessica friendly and polite. The restaurant was inviting and clean. Definitely will swing by every time I am in town"
"Don't let the small footprint in a strip mall fool you. This place is so good. And the staff was super friendly and helpful. The spicy tuna nachos were amazing and very filling. My husband and I ordered 4 rolls between the two of us, which is our typical practice. But we barely made a dent after finishing the spicy tuna nachos app. In the future, I will probably just get this as my entrée.They were out of my first two choices of tea. I don't remember what I ended up getting, but it was good. Hopefully next time they will have but firs choice. It's about a 40 min drive from our house, but we will absolutely be back again and again!"
