Joseph G. "Mr C's is a dessert and cheesecake food truck that services the Lousiville Kentucky and surrounding city areas. Thai food truck recently came to my neighborhood on a Sunday afternoon so me and the family walked down to grab a snack. The food truck workers were nice, fast and efficient. Menu wise we only had four options. Three cheese cakes (Oreo, apple cider and strawberry) and they had a Oreo cheesecake shake. Me and my oldest daughter went with a Oreo cheesecake. It had a real nice flavor. I'd say it would be considered a smaller shake compared to traditional ive cream or shake places. But it packed good flavor and was tasty. My wife and other daughters split a Oreo cheese cake and the apple cider. Consensus between them was apple cider was better. Said both were good but the Oreo had way too much Oreo in it. To me like a majority of food trucks they are a bit pricey. I'd like to see a bigger menu with more options and maybe slightly bigger size cups for the Oreo shakes. That said it wasn't anything too outrageous and the value overall was good. Overall a nice and unique food truck option. Reading opinions on the neighborhood association and overall this place was a hit. So I'm sure they will be back and my family would stop by again for sure."

Peter R. "Caught this orange food truck out of the corner of my eye and naturally I whipped a U'y to scope it out. Aha, taco truck! Score! What I stumbled upon was a one man show taco truck. A lot of menu items were sold out by the time I got there so I kinda had to settle for 2nd choice items. I ended up with a pastor taco and a couple Campechano's. For taking orders and cooking at the same time I was impressed, he didn't leave people standing around but kept food coming out. At first glance, the tacos took me back to my childhood when my mom would take me to Mexico and we would stop at the first taco cart we saw. Yes, cart not truck. Small simple tacos with just cilantro and onion. These were the gone in two or three bite tacos I remember that were so addicting that they're ordered one at a time as if it were a sampling menu. I could imagine this place on a dirt road in Tijuana bustling with groups of people shouting "Otro más!" While small, I do think the price is fair considering what you'd pay anywhere else and these were not skimpy. The pastor tacos were good, not dry as I find at most places. The campechano tacos had chorizo and steak. The steak was noticeably marinated and wasn't just chopped up bits of steak like you find at every Mexican restaurant you find around here. I still can't tell if the tortillas were hand made or bought. Either way, they were really good. They weren't bland and had a fresh masa taste to them. They also held up well and didn't fall apart after the first bite. The tomatillo sauce was great. Not overly salty and added freshness. IMO, tomatillo should complement not steal or ruin the show and this did just that. I may or may not be spoiled from my childhood in LA and ventures to Mexico so I can be a tough critic on tacos, but I also have a soft spot for nostalgia. I think anywhere else I might give this a three, but for this region, four stars easily. The tortillas were so good. The meat wasn't just a filler protein. Shockingly the tomatillo sauce wasn't over salted like most places. Overall, everything I had was good and stood out ingredient wise. I don't think it would crack any of top spots but this is so much better than what I am used to around here. Come hungry, come early, and don't go far. This is taco's but taco cart style, a la carte."

I was going to get out of the car but before I had the chance one of the staff came to the car wearing a mask to take the order. Ordered tacos including steak and al pastor. The tortillas are made there. The tacos are awesome. The portions are great. The taste is amazing. Price is very good. Service was great and very friendly. I definitely will continue supporting them and going back to try other items in the menu. Strongly recommend you give them a try. You will not be disappointed."

Craig U. "Tates Creek Village Apartments has been holding a promotion this month where they feature a different food truck every Wednesday evening. This evening we ventured up the hill to partake in The Epic Cure! The menu variety looked excellent! Even if their tired 90's music was a bit stale.I quickly opted for the Chicken Tamales (assisted by the fact that one of their crew was pointing it out to me as I walked up). It took several minutes while they prepared them. I was a little confused because I thought tamales were usually a pre-made item, and I could clearly see the chef handling some uncooked masa.As he handed them over, I could clearly see this was the real deal. The chicken was taco-seasoned and juicy (practically falling apart), the masa was warm and perfectly formed into that tamale shape. The corn-black bean salsa was a nice touch also.It would be nice to have some beverage options, but we didn't ask. It was close enough to our apartment that we just walked back and chose from our existing stockpile.Overall, I would say whatever you do, don't discount this less-than-pretty food truck. This stuff is for serious."

The foods are down home good. They make everything from scratch and use their farm milk to make a few things like the potato soup. The BLT has thick sliced bacon and grilled sour dough bread. It was very good bread with a tight crumb and light flavored. The potato soup was touted to "change the way I feel about soup". My wife makes the same and I noticed the biggest difference was because they used farm milk. Much richer taste. Very well done. Do yourself a favor and look these folks up. I travel all over the state and I've been to 20+ taquerias in the last year, and I can confidently say that these are far and away the best tacos in Kentucky and even beating any and all spots in the Cincinnati metro area. The meats, the salsa, the tortillas, everything is better. On my deathbed, I want nothing more than a plate of these tacos. I can't think of a single thing that would make them better. They have such a large menu, but I may never know what all of that tastes like because I will get tacos every single time. They have a brick and mortar restaurant in Ghent worth checking out too. It's 99% as good, but the tacos here just taste slightly better. I'll probably transition to the one in Ghent for the winter. Here it's always nice to sit on the picnic tables and enjoy the fresh air. In summary, try these and you won't want any other tacos in your life."

I tried a bit and it was good, a little sweet. But unnecessary, sign of good meat. The mac was good too. A bit too "fancy" for Baby K, meaning flavorful and not completely basic. Dos Hermanos is located in the same building as the BP Station, but don't let this fool you at all. This place is my new favorite Mexican restaurant!Very clean inside and the food was better than everyone had described. I had the Dos Hermanos Special which included a grilled chicken breast, grilled steak, special seasoned grilled shrimp on a generous bed of rice with California vegetables. This meal was only $14.99 and was a huge serving. The steak is thin, but very tender and full of flavor. The chicken breast was seasoned and cooked perfectly, but the highlight of the dish without a doubt were the 6 scrumpdullyishous shrimp. These were absolutely to die for! The dish was topped with queso sauce which made every bite even better. My wife had the shredded chicken chimichanga which came with rice and beans. This dish was only $9.99 and was one of the best chimichangas that she has had in a very long time. There was a very generous serving of chicken inside and the flavor was out of this world! There is a very wide variety on the menu and I cannot wait to go back and try something else -- but it will be very difficult to change from what I ordered today. Don't let the fact that this is in the same building as a gas station prevent you from coming here. There is a separate entrance and it is completely separated from the gas station. Again, very clean, excellent food, fast and friendly service. We will return again and again!Without a doubt, the drive is definitely worth the difference."
