Not a huge area to stand and wait so you really need look at the menu quickly and order. Menu isn't huge either so that does make it easier. Burgers are always great and the fries are seasoned perfectly! As always I'll continue to visit Ollie's when I'm in the area."

Their spicy chicken is great but it's also actually spicy (old folks read: get ya tums!). I've done the drive through only so I can't comment on the inside seating. Waiting in the car line can take some time. Be patient they're slinging a ton of food to a ton of families for a good price.Whenever I'm having a bad day I go line up for Chicken King. Why? Because it's like having thanksgiving on demand and how could that not make the day a bit brighter. This is soul food.Let's talk about the sides: Sweet potatoes? Perfectly seasoned, buttery, and brown sugar sweet. Corn bread? Moist! Baked beans? Sent me to heaven.If I was on my way to Norton, I'd ask the ambulance to pull over and get me Chicken King. "I decided to give them a try after looking at their extensive menu. It was short drive to pick up some food and bring it home. This was the first time I have gone to this restaurant. I have passed by it multiple times but never stopped before. I did go into the drive-thru the wrong way. If you go there, you need to drive around back where the drive-thru lane starts. You have to order the pick up your food from the passenger side. This is due to it being the last space in the strip mall there. Anyway, they were nice about it (I am sure I'm not the first to make this mistake). They took my order and told me I could park anywhere out front and they would bring my food to me. She told me they make it fresh so it would take a few minutes but assured me she would get it out to me as quickly as possible. It was probably about 10 minutes or so. I would order ahead next time and then pick up at the drive-thru. I ordered the 2 pc Boneless Catfish Dinner which comes with two sides and a choice of bread. I tried the Red Beans & Rice and the Potato Salad. For my bread I went with the Cornbread instead of the roll. The fish was good. The potato salad was excellent. The red beans & rice and cornbread were okay. I would come again to order more food for sure.She got the Chicken Sandwich. It was a classic chicken sandwich which would normally come with lettuce, tomato, mayo, they also asked if she wanted pickles. She opted to get it plain. She sometimes doesn't like the sauce or there is too much sauce so she prefers to add the toppings herself if needed.The chicken was lightly fried and came on a large white bun. There are so many places that sell the classic sandwich so she did have some preconceived idea of what it would taste like. She had to say this chicken sandwich, to her surprise, exceeded her expectations. It was cooked perfectly and the flavor was everything she had hoped for. She realizes it is just a piece of fried chicken breast but it gets harder and harder to find a really good one. She will certainly be ordering this again."

"Well, no this is not diet food. But it was NOT greasy!!! I stopped here because I am on the hunt for the best fried chicken in Lexington. I ordered the three chicken strips with one side and a dinner roll. The dinner roll was just a dinner roll, not bad, but not spectacular as far as dinner rolls go. My side was mashed potatoes and gravy. Good. Two plain strips and one spicy. Go ahead and order spicy, it is not too hot. The plain was good, but I felt like it might need a little salt although I don't need more salt in my diet. . Anyway, the entire meal was pretty yum!!!! I will come here again! The chicken was fried perfectly. ( not sure if they soak it in buttermilk, it could have been a touch more tender. ). Still, this chicken is delicious enough to keep you thinking about it and coming back for more!!! So , YES, five stars!!!"

"I've been craving really good wings lately. I always prefer wings made at a restaurant where that's their focus and it's not necessarily a chain. Wing Station is it.I ordered the Lemon Pepper, as the young lady who took my order said Lemon Pepper and Garlic Parmesan are the most popular flavors. I ordered the 10 (bone in) w/ potatoe salad, carrots and celery sticks with ranch dressing. Split flavors isn't an option with an order of 10; otherwise, have fun choosing more than one flavor to complete your order.This is not an eat-in spot. Strictly a counter for ordering and a small bench style seat to accommodate maybe two or three waiting customers. There was a constant flow of customers in the middle of the week and day.The young lady said hello as I entered the door (and while waiting on another customer), she made good eye contact, and was very friendly and pleasant - all pluses. She told me it'll take 25 minutes for my order. I wasn't expecting this lengthy time, but it's a plus since the wings are made to order. My order was ready in about 20 minutes. She saw me waiting in my car and signaled me my order was ready - that was really nice of her.They accept all major credit cards, including AmEx. Tipping accepted via a tip jar.I had to wait nearly two hours before I had time to eat my wings. I was concerned if they'd taste fresh, good, whatever after that long of sitting. They looked dry when I opened the to-go container...but boy....these wings were not even close to being dry, even after two hours of sitting in my car. The meat was VERY moist, perfectly cooked, and the ultimate good wing...to me....is the crunchiness and not being greasy. The dryness you see is that pure, good ol' crunch. No grease anywhere - not even on the bottom of the container. And...these wings had meat, plenty of meat, on them.Now...the lemon pepper didn't really taste like lemon pepper to me. But the wings still had a nice flavor to them. This is the only downside.The ranch dressing was different and good. It didn't taste like your typical ranch. It was tangy, light, and quite delicious. The vegetables were fresh looking.The potatoe salad was also different in taste. I think it had bacon bits in it..I'm not sure. But it was good and plentiful for an included side item.I will definitely return for these great tasting wings. I hope for consistency in the taste of the wings and the customer service."

They seem to not have a phone line as the call doesn't seem to go through.They've got parking on the side and the front (which backs up into the street).They actually have seating for those who dine in. It seemed odd, since the place looks like somewhere you'd get only carry out.I ordered the 9-piece classic, oven roasted. It was grilled, but still well-seasoned. We also had 4 biscuits that came with it and 2 sides. We tried green beans and the potato wedges.I was impressed! Everything was flavorful!I'd have to come back again and try the spicy crispy chicken. Seems like that's a popular choice.They also serve Luzianne sweet tea. Bonus points!Once you place your order at the counter, they prepare it immediately. We must've waited almost 15-20 seconds for our food!"

"So, this is weird review for me. Jersey Mike's isn't local. Most probably wouldn't consider it remarkable enough to write about. But, I'm stuck recovering from a major surgery. I can't get out and I don't have much better to do than to try sandwiches that that have gone viral on TikTok.The number 7, Mike's way, swap out the bread for rosemary parmesan, cherry pepper relish, and pickles. I'm not normally a soda drinker, but Agave Vanilla Cream Soda sounded interesting enough. As for the sandwich, the rosemary and the spice from the cherry pepper relish were an interesting combination. I liked it. I would reorder it. The sandwich was a bit sloppy, but that doesn't bother me. It had a decent kick to it, but it definitely was not overtly hot. I'm a bit indifferent about the pickles. They normally really elevate a sub for me, but I could eat this one with or without. The soda was decent. I'm not really into sugary drinks. It didn't have caffeine. There was another one I would try, black cherry tarragon I think? I bet I wouldn't try either sodas twice."

"I love Indi's and have for decades. I used to frequent the Broadway location all the time when I lived downtown years ago. I love that Jeffersonville has one. I don't make it here as much as I'd like because it's a bit out of my way. When it comes to fried chicken, especially the spicy, Indi's does it right. Back 'in the day', we'd rotate between Indi's on Broadway and the old King's Chicken at 21st/Broadway (not to be confused with Chicken King on East Broadway). Indi's was always my favorite. I hate having to order through that damn glass window, but it's worth it. It's cheap and delicious, when it's fresh. Like most, I love not only their chicken, but their wedges! They are my favorite. I like the mac and cheese, yams, greens, cheesy broccoli, and the peach cobbler. I've had the fried fish years ago and remember liking it as well.Another Yelper mentioned getting a keel and I agree with her. Most places like KFC don't even offer keels anymore (they quit in the 90's I think). I've always had good food and service at this location and today was no different. I went at lunchtime and got a 2 piece snack box with wedges and a roll for under $6. The service was friendly and efficient. I was overcharged by $1 for my drink and the manager watching the cashier caught it and brought it to my attention. She offered a refund and I told her I'd just pay the difference and get a side of peach cobbler, which was more than $1. She just gave me the cobbler and told me not to worry about it. I really appreciated her even noticing the error. That's how a business is supposed to be operated. If only all fast food restaurants could do this.The restaurant was clean to boot. My food was piping hot and fresh, but I did go at lunchtime. They are located in front of Kroger and Rural King on 10th Street. Worth a stop if you like fried chicken."

I ordered the Whale Sandwich which was two very large pieces of fish and bread. The fish was delicious. Fried just right and not over cooked. Also ordered an extra order of Fried Clams. I don't get to eat them very often so I thought I would give myself a treat. They were also fried just right and it was a nice generous portion. My star score would have been higher, but the wait staff were not at all friendly and never cracked a smile. Also I had to wait 30 minutes for my order. I had to go to the counter to ask if they forgot my order as I kept seeing order after order come out. After standing at the counter for another 10 minutes I finally got my order. Needless to say I'm going to find another location next time I'm hungry for fish."

There is a drive-through board, but I'm not sure if they ever plan on having a drive-through line. The portion sizes for the sweet potato fries with huge. However, they were cold when I got them. I think they went ahead and package them while the turkey burger was still cooking. I've seen some mixed reviews on this, and I honestly haven't been there enough times to know if there is consistency or inconsistencies. The time I went, was not a busy time, so I was not shocked to see the staff and employees speaking with each other while things cooked. Per me, the meal was OK. The price was more than I expected, however, I know that inflation is hitting many restaurants. However, the amount of sweet potato fries was a good deal."

"3.5 stars, rounded up. I really like, but don't love, Indi's. Some locations are better than others. I used to frequent the one on Broadway all the time when I lived downtown. It was open late, and we would get wings, wedges, and some peach cobbler after a night out. Good times for sure. I stopped in here last week after leaving my veterinarian's office. I used the drive-thru and got the two-piece, wedges, and a roll in spicy. It was good, but I should've ordered the wings, as they are much better. Or, I should've requested a keel. It's one of the few places that you can still get a keel. My wedges were really good though. The service was surprisingly quick and Chick-fil-A friendly, just minus the boilerplate pleasantries. It was also cheap. They have decent greens here as well, and it's nice to be able to get Southern sides that you can't get at the national chains. I used to really like their peach cobbler, but I haven't had it in a long time. Must try it again. I rounded up for the price and fast and friendly service."

But this location needs some serious management help!There were roughly three cars ahead of me when I pulled into the drive-thru, and only a few cars in the parking lot. After placing my order I waited 15-20 minutes in the drive-thru for my food. My order consisted of a Mexican pizza and one hard shell taco. How is this fast food? Answer: it's not!The only reason I'm giving two stars is because the food was decent. But not the quality that I'm used to from the Taco Bell by my house in Jacksonville. My best advice.....avoid this Taco Bell unless you like to be frustrated lol. I personally do not like frustration, so I will not be frequenting this Taco Bell again."

I didn't make my lunch, being lazy and still on a semi-post-holiday-kitchen boycott. So, JJ's was close and right by the expressway en route to the place that holds me captive. I usually opt for other competitors because I prefer a hot sub to a cold one. However, a tuna sub sounded so good. I walked in and was immediately warmly greeted. I ordered and began to pay. As I was finishing up paying, my sandwich was handed to me by another employee. Talk about fast! I didn't see it coming. The inside was spotlessly clean. The employees were friendly and super efficient. The sub was packed full of fresh ingredients and wrapped in their wonderful bread; they have great freshly baked bread. The prices were decent and they have a rewards program to which I think I was once a member. Must look in to that again. There were no negatives here for me. The location is also super convenient.
