"This is an awesome new addition to Danville! The donuts is so soft not greasy. The filled donuts are filled as you order them. The fillings are overflowing every bites has fillings! The strawberries pastry is cream cheese base not sweet at all and perfect partner to a hot coffee. The kolache are fluffy and cheesy. Probably one of the best kolache Ive ever had. The staff is very friendly! I would definitely come back and try other pastries."

"Frank's is your classic donut shop where you can get perfect nostalgic donuts. This is a family affair with the owner, operator, and head baker being Frank's mother. Other members of the family work at the business as well. The service here was quick and friendly. The prices are affordable and they always have fresh donut shop coffee brewing. They have all of the classic donuts - glazed, cake, apple fritters, chocolate/maple frosted, and many more. They even have pastries to choose from. I think one of the great things about Frank's is that they have a drive through!"

"FRESH donuts! This little place is loaded with fresh made daily donuts and pastries. The glazed yeast donuts had a satisfying fluffy, doughy texture with a perfect sugary glaze. I only bought a half dozen to share with my family and everyone was so impressed, I'll be back tomorrow morning to buy a cool dozen! As you can see in the pics, there are quite a few varieties of glazes and toppings. Also, cake donuts, eclairs, and more. There is also a small breakfast sandwich menu.The place is clean and the gal who prepared my order was friendly and professional - I'm guessing she is the owner of this fine establishment.Located right beside my go to nail salon, Corbin Nails, I'll be visiting often!"

"Inside the food court is this small counter with a nice assortment of donuts. Their glaze is sweet, their chocolate frosting is chocolaty, and their bismarcks are long and filled. The fritters are dense with apples, too. Not sure what else to say here, but I got all the donuts I paid for -- it was a simple transaction and the women who worked the counter were helpful, fast and friendly. I'd recommend this place to anyone looking for a tasty pastry."

I went in there to see what their specialty donuts were for the day and they had a white chocolate glazed with peanut drizzle, and the other was a chocolate glazed with caramel & marshmallow drizzle with brownie bites donut. I did have a fun conversation with the person behind the counter about giant cream horns as they had a slightly bigger than average cream horn for sale there.They have me a small box with a doily inside (I've never had donuts this fancy!) with the donuts on top and they are giant donuts that you'll have to stretch your mouth to bite, so you'll get your money's worth. They were both very delicious and the brownie bites were fresh. I can't complain about these donuts, they were excellent!"

"King Donuts has been SUCH a welcome addition to the area--an area that has been without a donut spot (or even bakeries, honestly!) for some time!!It is located in a strip mall with plenty of parking.Their donuts are clouds you eat. So soft. So airy. So delicious.I've been in here a couple times (and there will be many more to come). There has been a line both times, but it moves pretty quickly. You never really know what donuts they'll have, so don't have your heart set on anything, but be prepared to love whatever you get. They do continuously bring more donuts out every morning, but eventually, they may sell out for the day. I recommend going early or checking their Facebook, as they post updates frequently on there. We Always get filled. So where is it. See my strawberry cream filled!! Please take time to retrain employees there. He said, donuts blow up on him. What does that mean??? "Nice new business in Winchester. It is conveniently located near the intersection of Lexington Ave and the Bypass. One of the best features is all of their selection is listed on the drive thru menu board. Sometime you go to a donut restaurant place and all of the possibilities are not listed. So you end up ordering by memory and obviously you end up with the same thing.I ordered a mixed dozen donuts so I could try a wide selection of options. I also had an apple fritter thrown in for good measure.I enjoyed the fritter as well as the maple sugar donut. The glazed donuts were also enjoyable. The staff were friendly and the service was fast and efficient. I also ordered a small 8oz coffee. You really do not know how small 8oz is until you order one. Tiny cup. Next time I stop by I will order some more of their exotic donuts and get a 16oz coffee. Take a moment and stop by their drive thru and get you some Dounts to start your day off right."

"I ventured into Plehn's recently to get some cupcakes to celebrate my daughter's birthday with family, and Plehn's was just perfect for this.First, it celebrated its 100th birthday this year. How cool is that!?!?And it's clear when you step in that it has accumulated a wealth of baking expertise during that time. Its cases were FILLED with all manner of sweet treat, from cookies to cakes to pastries to bread to my aforementioned cupcakes. The air was sugar-filled and beckoning. Plehn's makes beautiful cupcakes with a flower design in icing on top. These were what I originally intended to buy, but they were a little outside of my budget at 6 for $19. Not complaining about that -- I imagine each cupcake takes time and skill to craft. So I looked for something else, and I found Christmas-themed cupcakes for much cheaper. And bonus: Each was topped with a plastic Christmas ring! These cupcakes were intended for several kids (and adult-like kids), so this was a great option. I purchased a dozen of these, and they stayed moist and delicious until we ate them a couple of days later. Don't sleep on this Louisville bakery mainstay. They definitely know how to make sweets that sweeten any day."

This location makes the goodies for the other cafés that serve food as well as desserts. This one only has the sweet stuff. They have great hours and are open 24 hours from Wednesday to the end of the week. I came in the afternoon and they still had a nice selection of donuts left. I think this is due to the quantity made here. The donuts are great! I got a dozen for work the next day since I leave my house before 5am, and am often in no mood to stop that early. The donuts held up great until the next day and my co-workers had no complaints.Inside, it was clean. The service was friendly and efficient. The prices are good. "Frank's Donuts is awesome! I've wanted to visit for a while, but I'm not in Georgetown frequently, so this past weekend when I finally got my chance I jumped on it! My cousin and I visited using the drive-thru, so I would definitely like to return in the future to walk inside and see the doughnut options prior to ordering. The quality of the pastries (we opted for doughnut holes, a cinnamon roll, and an apple fritter) is excellent! Based on that alone my rating would definitely be five stars, no question. The reason I dropped a star is because using the drive-thru wasn't a great experience. I know doughnut shops sell out of items quickly, that's understandable, but the first two items I tried to order were sold out (fine) and on my third attempt to select an item I was informed that a special pre-order was required (for conchas). I just thought that was strange, and the fact that it's not noted on the menu, but rather the item is listed normally with all of the other pastries, doesn't make a lot of sense. Overall, I would still definitely recommend Frank's though, because it's super tasty! I will definitely be returning to check out some of their other offerings!"
