"Hard to find, but once you do, you will not forget where it is!!!I was welcomed by Dad himself while waiting in the hallway. Explained the menu and options. I decide to go with the Rueben I had heard so much about it. It did not disappoint!!!Definitely will be going back."
"Breakfast was great. The food was fresh and the prices are fair. Super cute location and great service. Come here!!"

"We received a $10 off meal coupon as a gift and decided to check this place out. We are so glad that we did. First let me share that everything is homemade at this establishment and that makes it extra special for me. Knowing that they take that extra step means a lot. Our server was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. As a teacher it's his second job to help support his family, I appreciated how he made us feel welcomed and how he provided us with insight about the restaurant and their food. Clean, busy and friendly is how I would sum it up. Good food and drinks. We will return too!"
"This restaurant was just off the expressway and was recommended to our group as we were driving back from a weekend away. There are menus available as you come in, and you put your order in at the register as you enter. We came during brunch, and they had a wide variety of breakfast and lunch food available. And everyone was able to get something they enjoyed. I got the Vegetable Breakfast Wrap and a 1/2 order of Biscuit and Gravy. The biscuits and gravy were delicious and could be split with a friend. The vegetable breakfast buritto was also good. I really liked the sauce in the buritto and found it not to be too overwhelming. There were some side options that did come with the buritto. There was a lot of parking available which made getting in easy. You also get to enjoy some farm lands with horses as you make your way to the restaurant, which makes for a great drive."
"The food is excellent. Been going there about 8 years and love everything I've eaten. Have experienced two owners both of which are great! Place is clean and food is great!"
"I ordered a Co ham for Derby & after I picked it up my husband & I agreed it was sliced ultra thin & shredded! We talked to the owner & not only did he deliver a new sliced ham at his expense he threw in some party rolls! Great job! We will definitely go back !"
"The place promised Italian ingredients, and the tang of the tomatoes on my pizza suggested quality. Of course, quality tomatoes exist in the U.S. (it's an American plant), but I digress. My starter salad was substantial and full of flavor, and I was thrilled that their pizza specials actually matched up to my tastes for once. They like mushrooms, calabrian chili, and kale, and I got two of the above on my Vesuvius pizza. The style of pizza was more American though, given that it was drowning in cheese rather than dotted with a few blobs of fresh mozzarella. The residential-looking space had charm, with a framed document on the wall of the family's arrival as immigrants in New York a century ago. Plenty of people were working and there was no delay in service. Prices were significantly higher than what I'd read online, perhaps a sign of the times, but I certainly ended up stuffed; dessert was a no. Other than the typical caveats that classic Italian doesn't have much for those who avoid wheat and dairy, I couldn't ask a lot more from them."
"This has definitely become one of my favorite places in Lagrange. Today I got my usual (Turkey Reuben) but I also got the white chicken chili. This was my first time having it here and it was delicious. Very filling and just the right amount of heat/spice!I was here earlier this week as well and had the Green Chili Chicken Chowder. Absolutely delicious- I can't wait until it hits the menu again!"
"Excellent food at great prices. I got everything to go for a 3 hour trip. It was all fine when I arrived home. It was packaged extremely carefully."
"Griffs was the first restaurant I was ever truly obsessed with, and revisiting it almost 8 years after my first encounter my thought remains the same! In college I would say that Griffs was going to cater my wedding (and if I hadn't gotten married in Vegas they probably would have!)What I recommend: The chipotle chicken panini, the ranchero wrap (on spinach), the chipotle chicken spud.If looking to try more than one thing get the pick two. Even 8 years later I still get the pick two so I can get different things. And get the sweet tea!!!! Nothing beats that giant styrofoam cup of tea so darn sweet. Their paninis are crisp, ingredients fresh, and my order has never once been wrong. They are doing something right and you can tell by how busy they stay! Don't be surprised if you visit after a rush and they are out of potatoes!Every time I visit BG I plan to return!"
"Perfect. Every time. One large sandwich easily feed 3 adults. The steak & cheese, and the club are our favorites."

Stella's is a Lexington MUST. They are so intentional with where the source their products from. I so love that they support local farmers and appreciate that they are very reasonably priced. I was looking for a soup and half sandwich sorts of combination and asked if this was possible (no, but a half salad is). It was cold so I definitely was not in the mood for a salad and opted for two soups. The tomato was absolutely my preference, but both were so delicious with great textures and flavors. My company upgraded their side on their sandwich to get soup, I wish I would've known that was an option before ordering first, but was so thrilled with what I ordered nonetheless. The derby pie was the perfect way to finish the meal! I shared it with someone who frowned at the pie hearing pecans were in it, but they sure were quick to gobble up the half I gave them. The building is so quaint and charming, the patio is stunning and absolutely lovely. Stella's is easy to get to, there is street parking nearby, and the service was excellent - so incredibly friendly and made sure they were available if you needed anything. Tip: gratuity is included in the final bill and you are welcome to add more onto what's already been added.

Been here twice and I love that they have a place for kids to play! Makes it a lot easier for parents. The pizzas are so good, especially the bacon and apple and the Brussels sprouts. Trivia night is also super fun to attend. Cucumber salad was so so.

I'm super disappointed that I had not discovered this place sooner. The ambiance is cozy and quaint, and the food is delectable. I had the opportunity to visit with my colleagues. They were excited to eat here and now I know why. I had a fried tofu poboy (not the menu name) and it was very good. I also tried a scone. Definitely would love to visit this establishment again. The best part is that is that it is not far from home.

I've had Morris' on my list for a long time. Basically, since I moved to Louisville around twelve years ago. I'm not sure why it took me so long to get over to this spot, but I'm glad I finally did, because I loved it! Morris' is a truly typical Kentucky-style deli and general store. It reminds me of the spots I grew up frequenting in Bourbon County. They're offering up everything from liquor, snacks, and drinks, to whole country hams. Plus the deli makes this one of the best lunch spots in the area! They're serving up high quality sandwiches, soups, sides, and desserts daily. Plus, they offer catering. If you're looking for a quick and easy spot to grab something extremely tasty, I'd say Morris' is a great place to do it!

"Always fresh and delicious. They have been great with substitutions. The tuna melt is one of my favorites . They do take the time to take your order accurately and to be polite so sometimes you have to wait a bit. You order at the counter and someone brings your food to you."
"Amazing little bakery with many choices. And, gingerbread - old fashioned, the kind I grew up with (I am 70). There is a great selection of donuts and muffins for the morning crowd, plus all kinds of cakes, cupcakes, fudge, cookies, special occasion offerings, and on and on. I have loved everything I've tried. It's hard for me to decide what I like best. Obviously, I am hooked on the gingerbread. The staff is fantastic. If you see a crowd, don't leave. They really work fast, even answering questions while on the go. Best bakery I've been to in years. They need a tip jar - maybe I missed it."
"You guys never cease to amaze me. I love how delicious the sausage and peppers are. When you eat it slowly it's like eating a work of art. The ambience is very nice and the place is always jammed packed. You've to get there early to avoid the big line ups. The meals are affordable and worth trying. I remember I once had a deli sandwich and it was out of this world. If you're looking for a different place to try I recommend this place very highly! I'm recommending this place to all my friends."
"I didn't order a whole lot from Gaunce's, but I did enjoy what I got. I got the chicken wrap and a brownie and both were very good. I could tell the ingredients in the chicken wrap were very fresh - fresh meats, veggies and grapes. I loved the combo of the banana peppers, cheese and fruit. A strange combo, but great flavors! I think their prices are affordable, but my only complaint was I wish there was a bit more meat on the wrap. If I'm ever back in Winchester I will be back, and I do recommend!!"
"Ok, I'll admit I have a banitsa/burek problem that's been ongoing for at least a decade after I discovered it in a now defunct hole-in-the wall shop in the Highlands where it was simply called "cheese pie." I am completely helpless around it. If it's on a menu, there is 0% chance I'm not ordering it. It is the ultimate comfort food. That long preface now contended with, I stopped in this place to maybe grab a coffee and baklava with my 15 year old son who is too cool to generally offer words or expressions of interest, much less glee over damn near anything I introduce him to. Kid will eat everything and anything, but he's also happy spending $19 on five bags of Doritos and a 2 liter of Mountain Dew. BUT, he adored this place. He ordered an iced coffee and slurped it down like a frat boy playing beer pong. From my point of view, I was most impressed by the nugget ice, for I am a nugget ice connoisseur. So crunchy and satisfying. So obviously the iced coffee is a hit. I went to the bar (shocker) and asked the lovely lady working about a bitter liquor and tried this ridiculously weird but delicious amaro from Croatia that tasted like adult bubblegum. They had a bunch of weird booze and I'm excited to try many more. The burek though, once it was served, piping hot....oh myyyy. Huge portion. Buttery and crispy and delicate and just generally perfect. And the sauce, like a sour cream/tartar sauce/tzatiki? Well, I'd buy it by the pound and slather it on damn near everything - burgers, grilled veggies, who cares...it would just be a vehicle for that sauce that slays. We both liked it so much we ordered extra, scooping it generously on the burek, creating a fine hot/cold/sour/sweet/crunchy/soft combo that, well, now just writing this I feel like Pavlov's dogs drooling at the thought. We also also tried two sodas, one elderflower and one like a flat Coke with orange. Both interesting and hitting the spot vis-a-vis the salty fatty burek. (See pics)We got baklava to go. Son reported to have enjoyed it.The bill was $26. Seemed a little high, but in retrospect, maybe nah. A shot, an iced coffee, a very filling snack for two, two sodas and a baklava...made sense. And was well worth it for the experience. As a side note, you walk in and feel immediately transported into another world. You are no longer in Buechel. That is a huge part of the experience. Go here now. Don't be afraid to ask dumb questions, they will answer all of them with a little perplexion but with a gentle ease that mitigates your shyness and/or ignorance."
"This place, humble and simple as it is, truly represents southern flavors and southern hospitality. The owners are very gracious and delightful ladies. I went there with a group, and we not only had really good food, but also a great time in an informal and pleasant setting. When the owner discovered it was the first time in Kentucky for all of us, she announced free cookies and pastries for all. I hope they remain in business for a long time, and that they do well as they deserve to."
"So, this is weird review for me. Jersey Mike's isn't local. Most probably wouldn't consider it remarkable enough to write about. But, I'm stuck recovering from a major surgery. I can't get out and I don't have much better to do than to try sandwiches that that have gone viral on TikTok.The number 7, Mike's way, swap out the bread for rosemary parmesan, cherry pepper relish, and pickles. I'm not normally a soda drinker, but Agave Vanilla Cream Soda sounded interesting enough. As for the sandwich, the rosemary and the spice from the cherry pepper relish were an interesting combination. I liked it. I would reorder it. The sandwich was a bit sloppy, but that doesn't bother me. It had a decent kick to it, but it definitely was not overtly hot. I'm a bit indifferent about the pickles. They normally really elevate a sub for me, but I could eat this one with or without. The soda was decent. I'm not really into sugary drinks. It didn't have caffeine. There was another one I would try, black cherry tarragon I think? I bet I wouldn't try either sodas twice."
"We've been here several times and always had a good experience and good subs. The employees who have waited on us have been polite and made great subs. I'm hoping the employees mentioned in the one star reviews are no longer working here. My favorite sub is the roast beef. It's always nice and rare just how I like it, and they don't skimp on the ingredients. The vegetarian sub with portabella mushrooms was good also."
"I uncovered this gem when I was running late and needed a sandwich FAST without time to walk to the conglomeration that is 4th Street Live.Great selection of sandwiches, try the club, it's GREAT! Good value with Sandwich, pickle (good as well), chips and a soda for less than $9."
"My wife and I got the pimento cheese sticks, chili, and loaded veggie soup. All were amazing! We will definitely be back and have told several friends that have already stopped by as well and have had great experiences also!"
"Great lunch spot. Sandwiches are delicious and price is reasonable. Lots of home made specials. Locally owned and not a chain. What could be better?"
"I visited here today around lunchtime for a bite to eat. I walked in and was greeted quickly with a friendly worker. I told her I'd like a brisket sandwich with hot bbq. I waited 3-4 mins and was handed the food. It was $9.45 after tax for the sandwich. I ate it out in the truck and wish I could have said it was 5 out of 5 best ever but I can't. The sandwich was small and not that tasty unfortunately for the price especially. It had no Smokey flavor and just tasted like pulled beef roast on a roll with bbq sauce. I did not enjoy and was really wanting to like it. I'll give it another shot with another food item but I'll pass on this sandwich"
"We are so happy to have a new, tasty sandwich shop in La Grange. Years ago, we gave up on subway's substandard ingredients and bland taste.Mike's has a lot of great options made with meats and cheeses cut when you order. Our favorite is a giant #9 Club Supreme on Rosemary Parmesan bread. We split the sandwich and are definitely full afterwards. The staff is always friendly and fast."
"Popped in to puck up lunch on a Sunday afternoon at 1ish. It was super crowded. An option is to order online and pick up in the drive-thru. That would be my suggestion if you are ordering to go. So the resturant tables were mostly full, there were 6 to 8 folks ahead of me in line waiting to order and 5 or 6 folks waiting for their to go orders. All in all took me about 30 to 35 minutes to get thru the line and then wait for my order. But it was worth it. I ordered 3 pick twos,1. Savannah Chopped Salad with raspberry pecan dressing, no cucumbers, no tomatoes and aHalf Harvest Chicken Salad Sandwich, no tomato. Pickle on the side2. Savannah Chopped Salad. Half French Dip. Pickle in the side.3. Potato soup and a grilled chicken wrap with no honey mustard.4. A grilled chicken Ceasars wrap with potato salad. All the food was excellent and even with the special requests it was all correct. Only missing item was the au jus for the French dip sandwich. My potato soup was hot and great flavor and the wrap was fresh and tasty. Others enjoyed their salads and my hubby really liked the chicken Ceasar wrap and thought the potato salad was great. Easy parking and staff were pleasant and efficient. I will go again, and order ahead for take out"
"A great sub, staff, and location. A Chick-fil-A experience sans the chicken. I hadn't been here in a few years, when I stopped in here yesterday to grab a sub for my work dinner. I didn't make my lunch, being lazy and still on a semi-post-holiday-kitchen boycott. So, JJ's was close and right by the expressway en route to the place that holds me captive. I usually opt for other competitors because I prefer a hot sub to a cold one. However, a tuna sub sounded so good. I walked in and was immediately warmly greeted. I ordered and began to pay. As I was finishing up paying, my sandwich was handed to me by another employee. Talk about fast! I didn't see it coming. The inside was spotlessly clean. The employees were friendly and super efficient. The sub was packed full of fresh ingredients and wrapped in their wonderful bread; they have great freshly baked bread. The prices were decent and they have a rewards program to which I think I was once a member. Must look in to that again. There were no negatives here for me. The location is also super convenient. Five stars in their category and price point.#1215/21-2020"
"While experiencing McAlister's Deli for the first time I would give it a solid 4 stars. The service was average and the workers were pretty nice. The atmosphere was also very festive with Christmas decor along with the Christmas music putting me in the Christmas spirt. The food was pretty good, and my sandwich was delicious I'm glad I added the avacado on my sandwich. However, the one complaint i had about my food was the mac and cheese being lukewarm and could've used a little more seasoning. Overall the place was great.Dr pepper rate: 8/10"
"I only come here for the Oxtails.. they're great from here. The owners are great.. not a bad atmosphere.. the reason I rated them 3 stars is because there have been several times I've came and no butcher was there. I understand that- just hire a second butcher."
