"This review is specific to their drive-thru, as I've now been a few times and come away impressed each time.I'd been meaning to pop by here since they opened last fall (?) and just haven't taken the moment. I literally drive by here probably 4x a weekday or more, but the initial bad reviews made me feel I should wait until they had a few more swings at the plate. However, when they put up signs recently that they serve breakfast now too, that was the push to get me through the gate. A good breakfast spot is right in my ballpark.I haven't tried much but their biscuits & gravy is tasty, not epic, but good, and inexpensive. The morning drive thru service was quick & friendly.Stopping by to pick up a couple sandwiches on the way home one evening was a similar experience & surprisingly quicker than expected as I ordered their pork fritter sandwich which I figured would take longer. Also, their mushroom swiss burger is certainly one of the better ones I've had thru a drive thru."

The place was fairly empty- just a couple groups when we arrived, about an hour and a half from closing.We were surprised when the friendly hostess informed us that Mondays were Family Style friend chicken night. I was unsure about this, however the dinner surpassed my expectations greatly. The chicken was deliciously lightly breaded and perfectly fried. The sides (green beans, biscuits, mashed potatoes, gravy, and coleslaw) were generously sized and tasty. I was happy to see they had sweet tea on the menu!Throughout our meal, our hostess/waitress made sure we were constantly supplied with whatever we might need- drinks, refills on sides, etc.There is a little shop attached filled with all the things you could hope to find- soap, children's toys, lotions, decor, etc. The bathrooms were quite clean and well stocked. I'd like to try this place again when their full menu is available."

"My fiancée and I visited Granny's Garden November 1st. It was our first visit and all we knew was that the place served "home cooked" type meals. Well, we were not expecting the level of service and food we received. First, the customer service is off the charts. The staff was very friendly and full of suggestions and answers to our questions. They serve the same meal on the same days weekly. For example, Tuesday was pork loin, stuffing, corn casserole etc and that repeats every Tuesday. They also offer barbecue sandwiches and chicken salad sandwiches if the featured entree isn't something you prefer. I must add that they also offer ready-made casseroles and meals ready to take home to heat and eat! The desserts are delicious as well. Brownies, "ooey-gooey" butter cake (I believe is what they call it), as well as peanut butter pie, apple pie, etc. I do have to add that they are CLOSED Sunday and Monday and WILL BE CLOSED DECEMBER 2nd THROUGH THE FIRST OF MARCH. They close every winter from what I understand. Anyway, Stop in and enjoy the crafts in the room for sale as you chow down on some home cooking!"

We arrived around 11:30 and were seated right away.Seasons is located in a beautiful, expansive building on Corbin's main strip. The main dining room features a wood burning fireplace, a crystal chandelier, and beautiful wood all around. The only thing about the setting that did not make sense was the music--contemporary pop. It just did not fit.Paul ordered the chicken salad platter and the red pepper tomato soup. He enjoyed both selections. I tried a bite of his chicken salad, which is made in house, and found myself wishing I had ordered that platter.I ordered the Black and Blue salad with bleu cheese dressing, and the Renaissance mushroom soup. The greens were incredibly fresh, and the dressing was impressive. Unfortunately, the steak was tough. The mushroom soup was excellent.A word about portions at Seasons--they are ridiculously massive. I live to eat, but I could only finish a third of that salad despite walking in the door famished. Our server could have been neither more friendly nor more slow. Thankfully, the former of the two is more important to me.In summary, if you are passing by Corbin and have the time for a slow paced, scrumptious meal, I recommend Seasons."

Husband and I split the Kentucky Cobb Salad and an order of Fish & Chips. Fish came with a side of malt vinegar--nice touch!Surprised such a small town like Midway has a number of great chef/owner run restaurants. Ouita Michel has two locations in Midway as well. We travel to Lexington several times a year--stopping in Midway to pick up flour from Weisenberger Mill. Will make Heirloom a regular stop as well."

"I saw an article about holiday pop up bars and Porch was on the list so we checked it out! It was actually the lobby bar with the holiday selection, not the Porch but it was no biggie! We approached the bar and it was VERY busy but that did not stop the bartenders from being incredibly efficient. I approached the completely full bar and was greeted + my order taken within maybe 20 seconds. All four cocktails were then prepared within a few minutes. We were all very impressed with how quick service was. We all got seasonal cocktails, Gingerbread Old Fashioned, Peppermint Espresso Martini and the Sugar Cookie Martini. Those might not be the exact names but thats the gist of what they were. Now let me say, we were in Louisville for the bourbon trail so we had been doing a lot of drinking throughout the weekend. We had a lot of seasonal cocktails and these (all of them!) were on the top of our list! They were all so wonderful! You know when you get a drink that has an amazing description and then when you taste it, it doesn't taste like the description? Well, this wasn't the case here! Our drinks tasted just like they were described! We loved our drinks so much we considered going back to this bar again later in the night! Take advantage of their seasonal menu while you can!"

I just tossed in some black pepper and they were perfect. They definitely weren't sitting around all day which is nice. My mom got the Manhattan ( open faced sandwich ) type of thing. That was super good. The PIES are crazy good! I really want to express how nice the staff/owners were though. Great service and getting names with smiles is the type of thing I truly appreciate. It's very rare nowadays. Rick and David were awesome. P.S. don't forget to get a bottle of Jeff's bbq sauce by the register. It's legit."

"My mom's been begging to try Harry's since they opened a location on 62. The menu pricing is higher than I'd like, so I've been reluctant. I can't say my opinion has changed. First, we had to switch tables because there was a drain on the floor and it smelled horrible, like a poorly drained bathroom. I really feel like something is off because the water wasn't great either. The fried pickles were thick and tasty. The dips were good too. Even though they give lots of fries, they aren't awesome. I ordered ranch and that helped! The Brussels were good but there was too much syrup! My sandwich was decent but also, not really special as opposed to other places nearby. It's not that it was bad, it just wasn't great. I'm not sure if I would return. A guy at a table over kind of gave the same type of review too when we were asking what he likes."

"Mulligans is a new gem that just opened recently in the Glenmary neighborhood. The food is delicious and the menu has a variety of dishes. This was the perfect place to have a dinner party of 14 guests. I got the sirloin steak and was surprised at how delicious it was. (So tender- reminded me of a filet cut) A thick cut sirloin, cooked to perfection on a sizzling cast iron skillet. Everyone in my party really enjoyed their meals. The service was impeccable and were so accommodative for my large party. I can't wait for the warmer months to enjoy the outdoor area where there is pickle ball and a small children's playground. Give them a shot, you won't regret it!"

"Trying something new today and keeping it local. Well cooked burger that was still juicy and not dried out, very tasty and flavorful. Went with pepper jack cheese instead of the cheddar. Melted to perfection on top of the burger. Cajun fries were a slight bit soft for me, not all but there were some. Seasoning was decent and we'll proportioned. Of course there was a few that had more than others but cajun fries are always a favorite for me wherever I go. Easy to order with the menu displayed right out in front for you to see clearly always a plus inatead of having to read off paper or stare up into the ceiling. Comfortable relaxed atmosphere and fast service. If you haven't tried this place yet I highly recommend it. You also have the option to build your own burger as well. I have to try the others they have to offer before I go that route, but I will be returning here."
