"I'm seriously addicted to the Milk Jar Cafe. My favorite is Ceylon with Milk. I love that you can adjust things like sweetness, ice level, and of course add ons like boba.I do prefer the one in Anderson because of the store atmosphere, but the people who work at both are equally lovely and kind."
"Our VRBO was super close to this coffee shop and we picked it because they offered food (beyond pastries). Loved our bagels with turkey or ham and cheese. Really good! Service was friendly and fun. They dealt with our out of town longer decision making and questions. The space is compact. There's actually quite a bit of seating, but it's a popular place for gathering. We were lucky to get a table. As busy as it is with people and decor it is also cozy and you aren't on top of people. During warm weather they have a great patio space too. We enjoyed their shopping area and picked up a few buttons for book bags as well as notebooks. This space is all about inclusion and social justice. I appreciated it, including the names on various banners. A reminder that we still have work to do. And to take care of each other."

"Friendliest staff you could ever ask for. Coffee is excellent as you would expect. Ambiance is quaint with a worn-out feel with the furniture/tables. That is a good thing! Interesting note: This is the block NEXT to the old Mammoth Garage was located on Main Street. MG burned down in a huge fire on February 19, 1976. Over 100 cars were destroyed but fortunately no one was killed. I was 11 years old at the time and remember my father telling me about this fire. Many people who worked downtown lost their vehicles that day."
"Cute hideaway to grab coffee/tea and a homemade pastry. Numerous places to sit, plug in and get some work done. Staff were chill. Location was clean and drinks were fantastic. Had a lemon cookie with a blackberry mousse filling that was incredible."
"Zim's Cafe is a fantastic lunch spot in downtown Lexington. Their selection of appetizers, burgers, and sandwiches make it difficult to choose a meal! The service was very friendly, and I truly appreciated their candor about the sandwiches they thought were made the best in house. I went with their recommendation, and it was worthwhile! Easily a top 3 sandwich shop in Lexington, and I plan to return whenever I am in need of a well-priced and tasty meal downtown'"
"Love this place! The freshness of everything is amazing. As for my favorite I can't choose between the cheese danish and the mocha bun. Once sold out that's it for the day so grab it early!Be aware, they get very busy in the morning. If you get an expresso drink, be prepared to wait."
"I don't eat milk or dark chocolate so when my friends wanted to come here, I was not expecting to try anything. We came here when it opened and you can tell it's a popular spot. There were groups waiting in line to come inside so I was hoping (for the rest of my party) that they would enjoy themselves. The menu had a lot of options. I went up to the counter with my husband to order and was surprise they had white hot chocolate on the menu. Since it's the only chocolate I eat, I decided to order it. I added a hint of vanilla in it. Let me tell you, it was the best hot drink I've had. More places need white hot chocolate in their menu. This is a hidden gem in Lexington and I can't wait to come back"
"This is a nice little diner on main street in the heart of town. We went in and were seated immediately. It was a crowded diner because it was lunchtime on a Saturday. We've never been here before and we like little places like this. The ambience is nice on the inside. They have TVs and a bar and local memorabilia. The food that we got was good. I got a chicken fried steak mashed taters wife got BLT and chips both for $10 so good price the owner was super nice. He walked over and gave us free pie because we had to wait a little longer than usual so he was very nice overall I do recommend it and I would go back."
"Have yet to try for a sit down dinner, but the sandwiches are out of this world. Great coffee and drinks. Very euro vibe. Bright and fresh."
"Cozy little Coffee/pastry shop located located off the Shepherdsville expressway exit right before all the commercial buildings. The location has a small inside area with tiny end tables and sofas that you can gather around and eat or drink your orders. They also have some picnic tables outside or if you are on the go they do have a drive thru area in the rear. It is a coffee and pastry shop but they do offer a surprisingly large and diverse sandwich/panini selection. Also for the yelp community if you check in you get a 5 percent coupon. So do not forget to check in!! I made my first visit here this morning and brought my oldest daughter and her best friend. My daughter and me got the ham egg and cheese Sandwich and her fiend for the bacon sandwich. The sandwiches were surprisingly pretty large. They had really good flavor for being a coffee shop sandwich which was a nice surprise. A tad bit on the greasy side but they were honestly much more than I anticipated getting from a place that is primarily a coffee shop. For drinks my daughter and her friend got a strawberry and mango smoothie. They both were huge fans. I got a double chocolate chip blended drink and it was great. Nice flavor and plenty of chocolate and chocolate chips. Almost needed a spoon to drink it because my chips kept jamming up in my straw. Service here was top notch as the girls behind the counter were very helpful in answering questions, polite and worked with a quickness. Overall we enjoyed our visit and I'm sure we will be back. My daughters friend lives in the area and they are already planning a return trip so I'm sure it will become a thing now whenever I'm picking her up or dropping her off from or to sleepovers. The drive thru is a nice touch. I would not expect a local coffee shop to have that. So I'll have to try that out next time especially if on the go."
"Day's offers a real chill vibe. Lots of comfy/cozy chairs, soft lighting, board games, and the eclectic, come-as-you-are/no-judgments setting one would expect from a Bardstown Road business. They also have rewards program and offer to keep your punch card on file..one less thing for you to lose or forget. Go there often enough and they'll remember your name and your order. Plus -- if you need to study or work, they have booths with ample outlets for your use. Very friendly; reasonably priced; good coffee; but the cozy seating and welcome make it feel like home away from home."
"I was really craving a lox bagel this morning and looked which option was closest to me. This lead me to visit "Born 2 Bagel" for the first time. The craving was most definitely satisfied. Loved the bagel and the lox! Absolutely delicious. The service was friendly and quick. I will most definitely be back."

My partner grew up in the neighborhood, so this place has always been a funky staple! He is a big fan of the Fred Espresso, while I like to try their many different interesting options! There is lots of inside seating, and picnic tables for enjoying nice weather. You order at the counter and while they make your order, you can peruse the gifts and eclectic items for purchase! In my many travels, I have yet to find a place like it! We always visit when in town, and highly recommend to many!

This place is located in downtown Lexington. It looks like it is decorated by someone who got super high one day and went to goodwill to buy some furniture. I found it very interesting that some of the decor consisted of coffee bags as well as coffee holders. My barista, Kennedy, is a real sweetheart and ended up giving me great visiting recommendations for my time in Lexington (he even wrote it on my coffee holder which I wish I would have put on the board). The coffee was great as well. It was a Colombian blend and very light. I like how they have a ton of different type of bean options at this coffee shop.

Heart of downtown location, quick service, affordable eats! My quiche was but overdone but the cheesy grits and side salad were a nice accompaniment. The peanut butter pie was an amazing fluffy peanut cloud - I want the whole pie!

Scrolling through Instagram and I landed on Chocolate Holler and their February Special - Cherry Cordial Hot Chocolate.I'm the weird person who doesn't typically go Gaga for chocolate - but cherry cordials hold a special place in my heart because they were my grandfathers favorite sweet. That flavor takes me back to sharing the candy with him over card games during my school winter holiday. This hot chocolate didn't disappoint! It's a mix of both milk and white chocolate, and the Cherry syrup is superb. It's the perfect balance of sweetness and didn't have the overly cloying sugary taste you sometimes get from drinks like there. 10/10 for me!Bonus - the staff was really fantastic and walked me through how they make their drinks!Pro tip: Chocolate Holler feature lots of seating; during busy hours, don't be afraid to make new friends by sitting at empty seats at shared tables!

Service was a amazing. Even the owner was coming around table to table to check to make sure there were no issues. Our waitress was super friendly and our food definitely hit the spot.. but let me say even if you're not terribly hungry and need a snack stop in for a slice of their chocolate pie. It is to die for.

"Charming airy space great for enjoying your coffee or lunch. Staff was nice, prices were great and the restroom was well stocked with different items you might need. Great job Bean!!!"
"Excellent mom and pop coffee house! It smells so good in there. Coffee extraorinaire! There place is also spotless...very clean, and the personnel are nice. They offer bagels and other treats including a gluten free butter bar!"
"The food was outstanding! We had pasta and pizza, which was perfectly seasoned. The pizza sauce is great. I am not a fan of sweet sauces, and this one was primo! The pasta was rich and delicious. We entered Cafe Primo on a whim, expecting a regular pizza joint. The experience was wonderful!!!"
"We recently ordered takeout from here. Due to a medical illness, I can't go inside because of germs. I got the Pork Belly Ban Mi and it was really good. The bread is great. The Pork was nicely seasoned. Needed a little more sauce because it was a little dry. I can handle spice, but in the second half of the sandwich there was one bite that just lit me up. They were very thoughtful and packaged the vegetables separately for the to go order so the sandwich wouldn't get soggy. The vegetables were incredibly fresh! Cilantro is so refreshing. The pastries were fresh and great as well. Will be getting again."
"Amazing place! Staffers are normally exceptionally kind. The inside is amazing and the food is so good! The idea of a cookie dough scoop alone is amazing! They have fun things inside as well. For example, there's a gumball machine with a chance go get free ice cream. There's also fast times, and so many options!"
"This business has been in this location for about a year and a half, though the business itself has been around in other locations in the region for about six years. The attendant was so nice and helpful when I asked questions about the stuffed cookies. Each particular stuffed cookie is stuffed with its namesake''s ingredients. For example, a Reese's pieces cookie would have an entire Reesie cup inside of it. OMG! I just cannot believe this concept hasn't been perfected and brought to the public masses before now. Maybe it has but I just didn't know about it. The bakery smells like sweets and, of course, the delectables really taste nice too. I enjoyed my experience. I enjoyed the desserts and I shall return."
"Was in southern Indiana for a volleyball tournament and stopped in Kolkin for few hours to get some work done. The coffee was great but what I really liked was the vibe. Great decor, had a casual book signing going on, and tons of regulars coming in. Kolkin would definitely be my regular spot if it was on the other side of the river."
"Great little spot in Mason for a steamy cup on a spring morning. Great ambiance, eclectic interior, exactly what you're expecting. Somber guitarist on the air waves. Cappuccino had a smooth start and finish without high acidity. Great foam art, fun little joint overall. They stay pretty busy with tons of laptops open around the room and people just enjoying being, so parking can be challenging!"
"Red hot roasters is a specialty coffee shop and pastry place located near the popular Frankfort ave of a Louisville directly across from the Breslin park. Place had A very whole in the wall vibe to it. It is a decent sized building however they only offer drive thru/walk up windows and has some picnic tables near the street sign. No idea why they don't allow people in as I'm sure they could get 3-4 small tables in if they used the space right. UnFortunately on our visit that includes my family and some family friends it was cold and rainy (come on Mother Nature it is may 29th!). So we ended up eating and drinking in the car. I personally got a red believer hot chocolate and it was fantastic. Very smooth and great taste to it. One of the better hot chocolates I've had. I also got a cinnamon roll. It was solid. Pretty run or the mill. Would of been better served hotter. My wife and oldest daughter got breakfast burrito beget both said it was really good but different. Had shoe string hash brown and jalapeño aioli on it. My oldest also got a honey you can't handle me latte and a chocolate croissant and she loved both. My second oldest got a kids hot chocolate a big Reese cookie. Cookie was massive and tasty. A bit dry but still very good. Overall we had a great visit. I wish they had indoor seating and I wish we had chosen a nicer day to come. The place had one lady doing it all and we had walked up to the drive way with my family of 6 and our other family friends. So we had big orders which took her a bit and unfortunately caused 3-4 other cars in line to drive off. So they may be even more successful with a better setup inside and more workers."
"Best chocolate chips waffle!!!! Chicken tenders are well seasoned. My Togo order was well packed. Service was great"
"Downtown Huntington, West Virginia, very quaint and a lot of little places and little shops you can eat at and butter it up at the market was one we chose for breakfast. Very good place to eat you have to try it for the first time."
"This has been my "home" Heine brothers for several years. Customer Service and drinks used to always be great! Over the last several months to a year the service has been lacking. A few times my drink order had been incorrect and on multiple occasions the store has closed early (and on various different days). Yesterday I placed an order on the app about an hour before they were supposed to close and walked to pick it up but when I got there the door was locked. There were two other customers walking up to the door the same time as me and were also confused when the doors were locked. The two workers inside waved me around the drive thru but I walked there so walked over to the window and waited several minutes (and several attempts to knock) before someone finally came to hand me my drink I had ordered (and paid for) on the app. Previous times before that it was well over an hour before the store was supposed to close. Sad to see the decline of this location. Especially since there isn't another one very close."
"I cannot complain! I've been here like five times already and always found the food DELICIOUS! So this place is a family run diner and is only open in the morning to afternoon. The decor is very homely, with photos and trophies adorning the walls. The server is the sweetest! This is a CASH ONLY place so make sure you have cash on you.Absolutely recommend the omelettes (whichever you prefer), hashbrowns, goetta and the fish sandwich. If you are having breakfast, everything is mostly accompanied by a perfect toast! The pancakes and french toast are good too! The price is extremely reasonable and an expansive breakfast would cost like $6!"
"Came here on a whim while on a road trip and couldn't have been more impressed. Jade, our waitress was super friendly and the food was stellar. Might drive the two hours from home just to come back!!! Jade did give me a little grief for ordering green beans with my eggs and bacon but I deserved it."
"Yum! I knew the food would be delicious due to visiting other locations. This spot was consistent and the team was super friendly to my son and I.I am happy with the Basic Biscuit with bacon and their coffee had great flavor. I appreciate the big mug and to go containers are made available for coffee and leftover food. Today we added the Bonuts, deep fried small biscuits covered in cinnamon with a side of glaze. We also added the gravy train, which would be best as a shareable for 4 people or someone's meal. The sausage gravy is great. The gouda gravy is a bit more savory, similar to beer cheese. This location has plenty of seating and parking in the shared lot. I loved that during our visit it wasn't overly full. The team at the counter was fantastic and they also checked on us to take away plates. We had a great time lingering in our booth. The tables were nicely cleaned up as well as the self serve station and bathroom. We'll be back!"
"The only time I'd been here was when it was a Dunkin Donuts. The place looks great! Modern, wood, neutrals, lots of natural light.Outdoor patio, lots of plants, a Drive thru.I didn't feel like doing drive thru. Coronavirus makes you scared but it's alright with a mask.No line. Just a few folks sitting at tables and another person on the patio. The drive thru seemed slow.It was close to 4pm on a Monday afternoon.I got my usual hibiscus lemongrass iced tea with coconut syrup. Always refreshing!"
"Great little spot for a coffee and a breakfast bite. Super friendly staff that were extra accommodating to our pup."
"Had the absolute pleasure of having breakfast here today. It boast a beautiful dining area that invites to you stay awhile and hang out playing games. The crepes were delicious and the waffle selection was amazing, keep up the great work more people need to visit this budding establishment."
"Delicious espresso, fast service and lovely staff-- what more could you ask for when grabbing a cup of coffee on the run?Blackbeard was conveniently located a block from my hotel, The Grady. My order is an easy one, a quad Americano in a medium-sized cup. Black. I like a rich, nutty brew and when trying a place that's new to me, I always worry about my coffee tasting too bright, almost sour (it seems increasingly popular). Happy to say that's not the case here.I didn't stay, but there's some seating and you can work from here. It's a bright, modern space.I'll gladly stop at Blackbeard whenever I'm back in town! Also, the name is pretty dang cool."
"You guys never cease to amaze me. I love how delicious the sausage and peppers are. When you eat it slowly it's like eating a work of art. The ambience is very nice and the place is always jammed packed. You've to get there early to avoid the big line ups. The meals are affordable and worth trying. I remember I once had a deli sandwich and it was out of this world. If you're looking for a different place to try I recommend this place very highly! I'm recommending this place to all my friends."
"I'd never been to this location! Walking inside I was surprised by how large it is and loved the various seating. My husband and I grabbed comfy leather chairs by a window. I decided to try the seasonal Mariah Cherry and got it iced. For me, way too sweet but it was good to experience it. It's popular with several customers and who isn't captured by the name?!We split a warmed cinnamon streusel. Delicious and recommended. If we're nearby this area, Heine Bros will be on our list for coffee."
"Great coffee, sweet service & awesome vibe. Art added to the already fascinating container ambiance with rooftop outdoor seating available too. Mimi LOVED the warmed pumpkin spice bread and Poppop's fork kept going for the chocolate cake doughnut. If you are driving through West Virginia, pop in!"
"It's delicious. And my daughter loves the stroopenwaffels. During the summer you can pop in during the farmers market. And in the winter is there anything better than a hot cup of locally roasted black coffee?"
