Kent C. "We have made the Governor a staple for our weekend brunches because of the amazing food. It is definitely not your ma-and-pa greasy spoon, but rather a place that serves refined dishes with a cozier atmosphere. The modernized takes on classic dishes offer some intriguing new flavors packaged in a familiar appearance to all...especially the "fromlettes" (frittata / omelette hybrid). The service is consistently great for a diner and willing to run the menu with you. Always follow their advice and you're in for a treat. P.s. don't miss out on the lobster roll, when available. Higher price tag, but absurd amounts of lobster and delicious."

Binio L. "Wow! So never in my life had I eaten a burger without condiments like ketchup or Mayo or mustard. That is how flavorful and perfect the gouda burger was. I did not need anything else, that sunny side up egg was runny and pure perfection. The place is very relaxed, you come in and find a place to seat. Make sure the server knows you arrived as there are areas not fully visible to her. The sides, I really enjoyed the fried Cauliflower side. The Cole slaw was my first time trying a vinegar based one and it was great bc I enjoyed how healthy it is. There are many other choices to try, the 2x1 promotion is only on burgers and it is daily 5pm to 7pm and ABSOLUTELY worth it! Big meat patty and plenty of bacon on them! Great parking space, good location and to top it all off, Tuesdays is free open mic comedy club in the back which is great for a laugh post dinner. Or you can take your dinner and eat it there. Absolutely great place! I'll be back!"

We were given refills on bread and drinks without even asking. Our food was delivered quickly and very fresh. We will continue to visit dittos as it is one of our favorites places in Louisville!"

Amanda J. "OMG!!!! This is my new favorite place!!!!!!! A group of friends and I went last night and had SO much fun! Before I get started on the details, I'll note that this review is for a private room karaoke experience. (There is also a main bar/room with a karaoke stage, but it has not opened due to COVID.)First, you can book your experience online. I would imagine this place is going to get super popular, so I would suggest booking a room as soon as your know you want to go! You can see time slots and room sizes all online and choose what is best for you. (Currently, rooms aren't at full capacity, due to COVID.) You will pay during your booking, and it is non-refundable, but I believe I did see you can transfer a booking if needed. They'll send you a confirmation email, and then you just wait until the day comes! There is plenty of street parking nearby. I am not sure if they have any parking of their own, but otherwise, it is pretty accessible on Market Street in NuLu. Upon entering, you'll check in at the front desk and be shown to your room. Each room has a TV and the walls are lined with benches. Your concierge (server) will show you the ropes, including the microphones, the iPad you use to control the karaoke system, the button to order drinks (yes, you never have to leave your room, so you don't have to miss a moment of action), and everything else you can need. I was also super impressed with their COVID and sanitary pre-cautions; they had all kinds of things, like microphone covers! You can order cocktails (the menu is awesome, as were both of the drinks I had), start looking up songs, and let the night get started!!! The iPad app has all sorts of great options, and they truly seemed endless. I even looked up a 90s country music start and got at least 20 songs as results. From oldies to newbies, there are so many options. You can also queue them up and easily change between songs, skip a song (when you realize--oh, that isn't what I thought, or oh, that is harder to sing than I remember), and so on. My friends and I had a field day picking out fun songs, and while we took turns on the microphones, we overall picked jams that everyone could sing along to!I had not done this style of karaoke since college (when there was a place on Preston Highway that offered it), but dang... IT IS SO MUCH FUN!!!!!!!!! And NoraeBar just takes it to another level!!!!!!!!! Everything is so cute, the vibe is so much fun, and the employees are super cool. Big shout out to Morgan who took GREAT care of our group!! We never went thirsty and got all of our needs taken care of. Each room even has its own little air conditioning unit, and Morgan adjusted ours as needed. If I could afford it, I would be here every weekend! Sadly, I can't afford that, but if you fill a room and break it down amongst friends, you are absolutely going to get every bit of bang for your buck. I cannot wait to go back!!!! NoraeBar is SUCH a welcome addition to Louisville. Don't miss out on this awesome place!!!"

We had just come from the Spartan race our group of six was starving. The soft pretzel with cheese was delicious. We ordered their undecided fries and we devoured them along with the homemade ranch. I hade the coconut shrimp basket it was great.Everyone else had a cheeseburger. We will make our way back to this place."

Sarah W. "Dining group of 7 visited on a Sunday evening for dinner as a selection on our tour of local fine dining establishments. The venue is unique and is in a repurposed large barn. Dining tables are placed in separate stalls for more intimate atmosphere or choice of long tables placed in the large central open area of the barn. Views out to the pasture are postcard worthy. Service was excellent and pleasant without being obtrusive. Wonderful setting for a special occasion, but easily casual and laidback. We started with cocktails and wine. I chose an appetizer of shrimp toast to share. Main entree selection was lamb chops, which were tender and juicy, perfectly prepared medium rare. We sampled several desserts, which were all deliciously decadent and presentation was excellent. Price point was as expected based on selection, quality, venue, and service. Would gladly return to dine again. Plenty of parking and accessibility might be hindered a bit by having to traverse a gravel parking lot."

Their breakfast menu shines with standout options like the vegetarian omelet, biscuits and gravy, cornmeal pancakes, and huevos benedictos--each dish is thoughtfully crafted and packed with flavor. To pair, the Bloody Maria and margaritas are exceptional choices, adding a refreshing twist to any meal.As the day transitions to night, La Suerte's charm remains. Their ceviche, particularly the aguachile ceviche, is a must-try--fresh, vibrant, and perfectly balanced. The service here deserves special mention: friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, which enhances the overall experience.Despite its many merits, La Suerte somehow avoids the overwhelming crowds that often plague great spots, making it an ideal destination any time of day. Giving posh/ new age jazz club vibes with low lighting and deep moody colors. Very hip. If you told me I was actually at a restaurant in Chicago/ NY/ or Vegas I'd believe it.Service was great. I love a restaurant where staff does not hover. I sat at the bar and all of the bar tenders were kind and gave me enough time to try my food before asking how things were.Lastly the food was wonderful. I wish I lived closer so I could come try the other options. The pastas were all delicious but I opted for the lemon ricotta Fiori. This was a lovely and bright dish. I chased this with the Mi Amaro cocktail which had a nice depth to it but was balanced with Prosecco. I must have been in a lemon mood because I finished my meal with the lemon tart. This was a GOOD portion for the price, the lemon curd was perfectly set and it had this wonderful texture from the pistachio kunafa. All in all this is a great spot for a celebration, a date night, or if you're like me a one person dining experience. I ordered the Fajita Greens, which I didn't have high expectations for because well salads for brunch is not my go to. The server asked me how I wanted my steak, and I was pleasantly surprised (Usually restaurants just have a default for the steak in a salad). The salad itself was great! The tortilla strips gave a nice crunch; the dressing was light and flavorful; and the steak was nicely cooked. I paired it with a mimosa. (You can also choose to get just a bottle of Prosecco with juice for $30). I was left feeling full, but not overly full where I would need a nap. On Sundays, the restaurant hands out flowers to the females! This is a nice little touch. If you like tequila, they have a vault, which opens up and you can see the tequila they have. It's a solid brunch in my opinion."

I had the "Philly Special" which is a green, very fruity drink. I had to go with the vibes, but one and done for me. They do make a mean old fashioned, though!Hubs wanted brisket, out of that. No pulled pork. So he ordered the smoked wings. Pretty decent. Fries were good. Very tiny wooden chairs on a wooden slat "porch" situation that the chairs sometimes fall into. But the plants outside and inside are gorgeous. It's a vibe-y joint. The interior has plenty of hidey holes and good places to tuck into for intimate or group affairs. The menu is more extensive than you'd think it'd be. As far as service, it really just depends on who's tending bar. Sometimes it's awesome and quick and super easy. Other times it takes much longer than it should because the bartender is holding a chat with a friend or just ignoring that you're there. I've had both experiences in the same week, even when it's slow, so *shrug*. Just a heads up to anyone who might flit a temper over that sort of thing. They're pretty doggone casual there."
