"We used Naiman's for our wedding and we couldn't have been any happier! Les worked with us to create a menu that fit our needs. We had bourbon chicken, shrimp and grits, garlic mashed potatoes, fresh green beans, corn bake, rolls, and salad. We also had mini hot browns, crab cakes, and bruschetta as passed appetizers! The food was delicious and the event staff was so kind and professional. They cut and served the cake and packaged up leftovers for my husband and I and our families to take home. Les is a great guy and he stays very busy with his family and business. At times it was hard to get in touch, but we knew he had tons of experience and would deliver exactly what he promised. We were so happy with our food."
"I had come here once before for my brother's wedding reception. I love the historical feel of the place and the beautiful hardwoods. On Sundays they are open to the public for brunch starting at 10:30am. We called ahead for reservations and they were very obliging. Our server was very attentive to our party of 10. Brunch is a very reasonably priced buffet of various lunch and breakfast items, salads and desserts. I'm not usually a fan of buffets but this one was high quality! Loved the breakfast sausage, waffles, and pecan pie!! Will definitely be back next time we are in town!"
"Yesterday, my employer was under a every two year audit from an accreditation agency and they decided to cater sandwich plates, two types of salad, and a cookie/brownie plate. I have to state that the salads had a unique taste to ones that I have ever tried in the past. I almost thought this "restaurant" was trying to throw a new kind of nationality of food for a certain demographic. Nope. It was pretty much Italian and North American type food. Even if the word "Orzo" is North American apparently. The cold cut sandwiches were amazing with pimento cheese and the cheesecake brownies were amazing too!"
"We had sales meetings in town, and they brought out a great lunch of sandwiches, homemade chips, fruit salad, chocolate chip cookies and brownies!!Presentation was perfect and right on time!!Later in the week they brought in fajita bar!!! Amazing quality and tasty!!"
"Everything about this business is amazing! The only thing someone could possibly complain about is the wait time, and I wouldn't complain about that because your food will be delicious and fresh. My favorite thing on the menu was the salmon tenders, and I also love the catfish, chicken, and the sides are amazing. I still haven't found anything that I don't like. Please make sure you check it out. You will not be disappointed."
"Busy near the lake breakfast, biscuits are canned, tea was leftover and cooks are not the quickest.Servers are friendly, TV sets are huge, bacon crisp and grits are creamy. Omelet was decent, homefries undercooked and OJ comes in a bottle."
"Wow! This food at Bizzle's BBQ is off the charts delicious! We will definitely be going back to pick up our food and chow down! You can find them on Facebook and Instagram! Easy location right next to KFC on Rt 60 Huntington off the 29th street exit and turn left up the hill and they are in the little White House! Go check out Bizzle's BBQ! You won't be disappointed!"
"Absolutely love, and highly recommend, The Block! The staff is super friendly, food is fresh and always top notch! I highly recommend calling and ordering ahead (they get crazy busy at lunch time so call before 11:30!) -- and always look forward to their soups!"
"When "A Full Plate" caters you are bound to eat at least one plate maybe more. The food is so flavorful you will not be able to contain yourself. One of the best caterers in Louisville!"
"Our company has used Ladyfingers for several events, including meetings at Drury Inn where they have an exclusive contract. Their catering menu options are extensive and I especially like the Kentucky-theme items for the times we have visitors from another state or Japan.Besides the quality of food, service is important to Ladyfingers. Their team oversees the catering and table set up and breakdown. This is especially nice for event planners that are juggling several balls. Catering from fast food often doesn't get you anything more than a drop off of bagged food. Catering pricing is based on a per person price and is competitive. They designate the timing for the catering event and when it's time for breakdown the remainder of the food goes with them. I often wonder why take home containers aren't provided and created to leave behind (since the food was already paid for). That would be a nice touch."
"I am overdue in writing this review. I love their food. Everything is so delicious . They often run specials and those are often even better than the regular menu items. They also have innovative items on their menu using ingredients like tater tots and baked potatoes. All their side items are completely delicious as well. Their macaroni and cheese is so old school and wonderful. Brisket is probably my favorite and they only use the best grade of meat they possibly can find. Their pies are as good as your old southern grandmother made for the holidays!Everyone who works here is so nice and helpful. They do catering as well. The one thing I hate is that they are only open Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturdays."
"This place is quite the hidden gem. I didn't even know they existed or understood what they did for the longest time. Yes, they process your meat but they're also quite a tasty little butcher shop. Off the beaten path, down a country road off 162 and located at a private residence is some of the best cuts of meat you can get. Not only do they cut to your preference (I ordered several 1 1/4 cut Ribeyes) but they have a freezer housing several options of beef, pork and seafood, along with frozen veggies, fruit and other sides. The actual counter has several different types of cheeses, pork cuts and ready-to-cook pulled pork. Don't forget to grab a pack of jalapeno beef sticks while you're there to munch on in the car on the way home...they may not make it home actually. Not only do they have all the meat you would like but the have a great selection of rubs and sauces to help complete your grilling experience. You can also pick up some ammo if for some reason you forgot it! BONUS!A little on the pricey side but that's what you get for fresh meat, prepared the way you like it, with down home customer service."

I can't begin to express how pleased we were with Naiman's. This is the second time we've used them and everything was PERFECT. The food is excellent, the services is even better and the price for everything is wonderful. No other caterers we spoke to came close to offering what Les Naiman did for the price. If you are planning an event and want to impress your guests with delicious food and excellent service, this is who you should call. Five stars are not enough, he's more like ten stars.

We are members of this pool and we are often disappointed in the condition of the bathrooms and the chairs at the pool. The women's restroom in particular has a puddle of water on the floor that you have to walk around in order to get to the bathrooms. You also have to be careful which chair you sit in because half of them are missing straps that you sit on. I gave the place 3 stars because the environment that the pool is in is beautiful. Lots of trees and bushes. The lifeguards are nice and do watch the kids pretty well. My kids love going there and meeting others kids in the neighborhood.

We've used Selma's twice now for boxed lunches for work and have been very pleased. The food is fresh, tasty, attractively boxed and pretty reasonable. They've been great to work with, and we will certainly use them again in the future.

We found Wilderness Cafe on our way home from Rough River when searching Yelp for breakfast. We wanted to try something different than the other places we had already been over the weekend and this place looked pretty good. It doesn't look too exciting from the outside but once you go in it's pretty cute and very clean. Everyone was very friendly and made us feel very welcome. They have several big TVs and since it was a Sunday morning they had cartoons on one of them which my kids loved. Both of my kids had the kids waffle with bacon which was pretty big, my husband had the wilderness special which was bacon, eggs, toast and home fries and he enjoyed it quite a lot and I went with the breakfast burrito with sausage and added a side of home fries as well. The eggs in my breakfast burrito were nice and fluffy and the sausage had nice flavor and was crispy which I liked a lot. I might have liked a bit more cheese in the burrito and maybe some more salsa for the top but overall it was a pretty good burrito. The home fries while pretty good needed some seasoning and could have been a bit crispier but never the less I was satisfied with them. Our total bill for the four of us was only $20 and for cooked to order breakfast I thought that was awesome. We would definitely return if we are in the area again and I would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for some good home cooked food. The lunch selection looked good also so I'd like to try that if we get to come back!

I try to stop here when I'm in town because their sandwiches and salads are huge and delicious. Literally have been there 3 or 4 times over the past year and the sweet lady that works the register actually recognized me on my last visit!!! Highly recommend this place.

"Recently hosted an event at Frazier through my work and we used Bristol Catering. We had an absolutely wonderful experience working with Bristol and the food was phenomenal. I would use Bristol again!Fallout to Libby for being super friendly and to all the serving staff!"
"Today I had Terri's Catering at a Christmas party with my job. I was pleasantly surprised at the spread. The green beans were my favorite. I do not eat pork and it seems as if all the sides were pork free. My co workers were all raving about the food. For my next event, I definitely will think about booking them."
"Our daughter got us delivery from DaRae & Friends for Mother's Day. Wow! What a feast. We had chicken breast & salad, green beans, herbed potatoes, a superb salad, lobster Mac & cheese, bread, and desserts. Fit for a king! We are impressed and DaRae just went to the top of our list for caterers!"
"Woot!! Woot!! I finally made it to Happy Belly Bistro!! Had the pleasure of joining the Virtual Yelp Event that Chef Ashlee and Happy Belly Bistro took part in several months ago. I told my wife that whenever we get the opportunity to visit Louisville that I wish to visit her business. Last night, my wish came true!!We found Happy Belly Bistro at Gravely Brewing. They conduct business there a couple of times a week. Unfortunately, Chef Ashlee was not there so my wife and I missed out on meeting her. Fortunately for us, though, we were able to try her food concoctions. We shared two entrees. The Smash Burger with fries and the Birria Tacos were our choices. Both entrees did not disappoint. They were each DELICIOUS!! My favorite item was the Birria Tacos!! I saw Chef Ashlee make them at the Virtual Yelp Event so actually getting to eat them in person was fantastic!! They tasted so well especially with that broth dipping sauce!!I was hoping to visit them at their food truck like what I saw during the virtual event. Wanted to take a photo with their Happy Belly Bistro name and Chef Ashlee. Still, both my wife and I were very happy to chow down on their yummy food! We left the premises with Happy Bellies!! Thank you so much Happy Belly Bistro and Chef Ashlee! Next time we visit from California, we look forward to patronizing your business again!"
"The Gillespie is a gorgeous venue located downtown for events and weddings. I love the huge chandeliers and marble floors. Even the bathrooms are pretty. I've been here for a few events and a wedding and thought it was well organized and beautifully decorated. Parking is fairly easy as long as you don't mind paying for a parking garage. Otherwise, on street parking can be a challenge."
"This was a business that helped cater a production company, I had worked under, yesterday. The lunch we had consisted of a spinach salad, ground meat with garbanzos and beans; meant to put on pasta. It was a surely health conscious meal. What I LOVED was the sugar cookies! OMG! They were so good, every time I bit into one. It had just the right amount of chew and the right amount of sugar. It was one of those foods that you bite into and happiness just comes over you and you get a tingly sensation, throughout your body, once you swallow. MAGICAL COOKIES!! O_O It made the extra day go well."
"I got to check this new spot out for lunch today with my mom and we both enjoyed it. They were out of a couple of menu items which was disappointing since the menu is already very small but we both found things to try. I went with the turkey sandwich on cracked wheat bread and the soup of the day which was a butternut squash and apple. The turkey on the sandwich was very flavorful and moist and tasted very fresh. I loved the smoked Gouda cheese and the roasted red pepper mayo spread. I could have used a few less greens since some were in quite large chunks but overall it was a very good sandwich. The soup was quite sweet which I guess I should have expected since apples are sweet and the squash itself can also be a bit sweet but I would have liked something to tone down the sweetness a bit. I added a little salt and pepper which helped some. It came with a corn muffin which was very moist and was wonderful and a great accompaniment for the soup. My mom went with the roast beef sandwich and I stole a taste of it as well and it was also very good. The beef had a very nice texture and flavor and I loved the ciabatta bread it was served on. The girl who took our order at the counter and brought out our food was very nice and personable and told us a little bit about the neat old building. I personally loved the old subway tiles on the walls and all of the plants and artwork. If you look closely you can even see the hole in the ceiling from the old fire pole! This is close to being 5 stars for me but between being out of bothers the quiche and the chicken salad and having to get our own water which isn't kept cold and not being given glasses with ice for it that keeps it at 4 for now. We will definitely come back again though and hopefully this time we can try the chicken salad!"
"I got the Hawaiian dog & it was so good! Pineapple, sweet sauce, green onions. Fabulous! My husband, who is a hot dog snob, loved his cheese & chili dog. FYI: get napkins cause she loads them up!"
"Heard about this new place in Dry Ridge so I went to check it out. Dry Ridge already has Subway, Beans, Penn Station, and Browning's Country Ham in the sandwich department, but they do bring their own spin to things. The sandwiches were colorful (I felt healthy!), and tasty. The sides left a little bit to be desired - the mac and cheese wasn't very good, but I'm not sure they make it themselves. There really isn't any space to dine in, so be ready to carry out! The people were friendly and kind.Overall, I don't know if it's a better experience than Beans or Browning's - but (just my opinion), I wish there was a more affordable option. They all have similar price points - just seems a bit high for sandwiches/hoagies."
"Great service and can help with any gathering you need. Also has a bar inside. Really nice place."
"Amazing customer service, extremely professional team! Chef Ken and his team are extremely accommodating and we are thankful they were able to cater our event on such short notice! We appreciate all that Exline Eats team did to help us host an amazing event!Thank you for everything!"
"When you are hungry but aren't sure quite what you want to eat....sometimes all it takes is someone shouting about pulled pork nachos to make the decision for you!A closer look at the menu tells you that you'll get 2-3 POUNDS of nachos. And they ain't kidding! The chips come topped with a behemoth amount of pulled pork and melted cheese. Then you get to choose your toppings, beginning with barbecue sauce. Your options are sweet or spicy. I went with sweet. I would have preferred the bbq sauce being put on before the cheese so it got on the meat. But you end up mixing it all together anyway to eat it, so it doesn't matter all that much....I also got mine topped with cilantro and red onions. You can also get jalapeños and pickles, which I decided to forego.$8-ish for an obscene amount of tasty nachos!BBQ and nachos. Together in one dish. What more do you want?!"
"Mattie's is located in the same building as St. Stephen's Church. Considering the building is a former school, the distance between the church's sanctuary and Mattie's is a couple of double doors and a few hallways. Besides the entrance used for worship and service, there is an entrance much closer to the restaurant, which is also near the Family Center.I don't believe they're open every day or even at least 5 days a week. I do know they're open on Sundays and have a Friday fish fry (12p to 5p).Customers pay up front (no tipping option). Credit cards are accepted. A lot of food is served either dine-in or take home. There are plenty of tables in the large room that's flooded with the natural outdoor daylight. The cost for a plate is $11 and includes meat, 2 sides (from a selection of 3-4), cornbread, salad or potatoe salad, dessert and a drink (tea, lemonade, water). I'm not sure if refill is free for dine-in customers or if the food options vary on certain days (beside Friday's fish fry, which I'm looking forward to checking out - catfish or whiting are the choices). The employees are very friendly, helpful and engaging.Between my mother and I we got fried chicken, meatloaf, mac and cheese, green beans, collards, cornbread, peach cobbler, potatoe salad, tea and lemonade. $22 total. First of all, we were given a lot of food. Two to three helpings could easily be achieved. My favorites in terms of flavoring with seasoning were the fried chicken (breast and wing - both were large pieces w/ light breading), cornbread (very moist and tasty - not mushy texture), potatoe salad (lots of fresh, crunchy ingredients) and the mac and cheese (lots of cheese, but not too much and not dry). The collards, green beans, meatloaf and peach cobbler were all good, but lacked a bit of seasoning for me, but my mom really enjoyed them. I wonder if not much salt is used, purposefully - and if so, that's a good thing. But...I can say the coloring was so vibrant and fresh looking. Oh...and the collard greens were picked quite well...hardly no stems at all - seriously. Both the tea and lemonade were delicious. Both of which I don't normally drink, but can say they were good and not overly sweetened."
"Our very extended family was recently in Bowling Green for a wedding. My son made arrangements for a pre wedding dinner party in the beautiful upstairs event venue at Anna's restaurant. They hosted well over 50 guests visiting from all over the country and beyond and everyone loved the meals, the service, and especially the special ambiance this venue has with all the stained glass windows and organ pipes. We've been patrons of Anna's restaurant for over a decade, and have never been disappointed. Highly recommended."
"I had turkey ribs today and they were DELICIOUS!!!!!!Krystal's keto kitchen also offer non keto food.I also had the seafood Mac and fried cabbage... which were also delicious! All this for $13!And the proprietor was very warm and friendly!"
"The Cookie Cabin is a really cute idea for a food truck! They have delicious cookies and ice cream, and offer a couple other treats as well. I recently had the snickerdoodle cookies with vanilla ice cream and it was delicious. If I'm being honest, the cookies were my favorite part for sure. They were warm, super soft, and went so well with the ice cream!"
"Wandered in on a Saturday night and thankfully we did! Owner Thea and her nephew Chef Charles were so lovely. We ordered lemonade, fried fish and fries, fried chicken and fries, a small Mac & Cheese, and a side of broccoli (you know for balance). Everything was made fresh to order so a 15 minute wait was worth it, especially since the music was great. Everything came out hot and tasty. We loved the crisp on the fish and chicken, the creaminess of the Mac and Cheese, and the seasoning on the fries. Will definitely be back."
"Anne with the Chocolate fountain was a last minute addition to our wedding reception this past weekend, and we were not disappointed! Anne is so sweet and cordial, and was a joy to work with. And the chocolate bar.......oh my.....fabulous!! I cannot express what a big hit it was, with both the kids and adults. My biggest recommendation is the peanut butter balls. Heavenly! We will definitely use Anne at the Louisville Chocolate Fountain in the future, for parties or events. Highly recommend! Everyone loved both her and her chocolate."
"I attended an opening reception at Cross Gate Gallery for their new art exhibit. We first eat with our eyes, and I have to say the table set with the food offerings was lovely. Every platter of food was creative and beautifully presented, and with wonderful variety. Each and every tidbit (and I tasted everything) was delicious. I inquired who the caterer was, and they told me "Copper Roux", however, I believe they are the event venue, while their food service is by"Bayou Bluegrass Catering". Our little Lexington is fortunate to have so many excellent caterers."
"I had a girls day brunch here and wow, it did not disappoint! Perfectly shareable biscuits (so delicious!) and golden girl themed coffees! We loved it! Our server was attentive and knowledgeable. 10/10 recommend!"
"I found myself here, attending a murder mystery dinner, performed by The Bluegrass Mystery Theatre. The food was prepared right in front of us by chef Allison and her crew. Don't tell the actors, but I had just as much fun watching them prepare the meal, than I did watching the show. I arrived early and chatted a bit with the chef/owner and her husband and then the dinner was perfectly timed with the show. Everything from the table settings, to the aesthetics of the kitchen, was perfect. I need to start watching the calandar on the web site, to try to make it out to one of the cooking classes that they offer. After all, that would be motivation to use my own kitchen. If you're interested in attending a murder mystery dinner, check out the website of the Bluegrass Mystery Theare. www.bluegrassmysterytheatre.com"
"I had my first experience with Made From Scratch today and loved it! From what I understand, Made from Scratch is a catering company that offers $6 paper bags of fresh food for lunch, complete with a sandwich, cookies, and a drink. You can also order a salad, a soup of the day, a fruit cup, and/or a brownie for extra. My order was placed around 9am and the meal arrived at my work before 11:30am. Perfect. I ordered a BLT salad with balsamic dressing, a can of Mug root beer, and a macadamia cookie. The salad was much larger than I expected (awesome), the cookies were delicious, and the root beer was just what I needed. Overall, $7 (the salad was extra) for this fresh meal was great. And convenient. I noticed on the paper menu at my work that Made from Scratch does dinner catering too but I'm not quite sure how that works. All I know is that lunch is good!"
"Don't hesitate! It's the best wine place in Lexington. We went for the first time and absolutely loved it. The wine, the cheese, all the food and the people were extraordinary."
