"It's an Asian buffet. So you know what to expect. The people are very friendly. They have Soups, salad, sushi, and the usual foods. They sometime vary- the rice is yellow instead of traditional fried rice though. they also have several flavors of hand-dipped ice cream. You can order delivery or carry out. The price is really good too."
"Excellent every time!Bubbys is always such a delight to stop and eat whenever we are in the area. The restaurant is always clean, and the food is hot and fresh.Besides their amazing pulled pork, one of our favorites each trip is the fish. Always fried fresh, the fish is light and tasty. Their fried chicken is always cooked perfectly and is flavorful and juicy with just the right amount of crispy breading. The sides are always plentiful! From collard greens to mashed potatoes, corn, green beans, and plenty others!Bubbys also has a salad bar, which is just the right size. The salad and toppings are always fresh and kept well stocked. Located just west of interstate 75 (exit 25), Bubbys should be everyone's lunch or dinner destination. The fish is so good, I'm tempted to drive an hour each direction just to eat there!"
"Great food, excellent and speedy service, very attentive but not smothering wait staff. Cannot beat the price, food quality, taste and service here. A definite must visit place but be warned, you'll be hooked and keep coming back! Yumm level 4"
"New for that side of town! Good food, nice people, street parking. Come check it out."
"Buffet was good and it had steak on it. And place was clean. Service was good and friendly."
"This restaurant used to be known as Tokyo Dragon and was one of my favourite Asian restaurants anywhere at that point. This was my first visit under it's new name and let me tell you it was as good as ever. They have an absolutely beautiful restaurant with a huge water display with lots of fish in it. There's also lots of really awesome decor hanging around everywhere in the restaurant. While they have a full menu I really enjoy their large buffet with my favourite part specifically being the hibachi grill. I love getting shrimp, crab, and scallops then loading them with the hottest spices that they have available on the bar. Then the chef cooks it all in soy sauce and a freaking fantastic dish is born. The buffet has everything from General Tso's Chicken to a really good black pepper chicken. There's also lots veggies, a full fruit and salad bar, a dessert bar, and a few different sushi options which I really liked. There's other things too and there really is something for everyone here. This is all super high quality and super delicious food and I highly recommend this awesome Asian gem in Alexandria."
"Located inside of Blue Licks State Resort, this buffet restaurant is very similar to the other Kentucky State Park resort restaurants that I so love. I was there on a weekend, so maybe they were bringing out their best, but I was impressed. I was being good that weekend and only got the salad bar options. It's a few dollars cheaper than if you choose to get the hot bar options too, which honestly isn't a bad deal, but I was motivated to eat as healthy as possible. We ate here a few times during our stay in the area. Each time service was great and we never had to want for refills. One time I ordered from the menu, instead of getting the buffet. The breakfast burrito is what I ordered and it was filling and overall a good way to break the fast."
"Came on a Monday evening so there was no wait at all. Sat ourselves as directed and was quickly greeted. Food was amazing! The fish came out fast and was a great snack while we waited on our entrees. While we were sitting we could hear commotion from the kitchen which sounded like arguing but it didn't concern us so we just chatted but it brought attention to how quiet the restaurant was. No music or audio to drawn out personal conversations. The tvs were later cut on. Dinner came and we tore it up! Got full half way through and took the rest to go. I'm in love with Indian cuisine and will definitely be back, sitting farther away from kitchen!"
"As a co-op, this place has an ownership system rather than membership. I was hoping to be convinced that it would be worth the substantial price to buy in, but I really wasn't. My assumption would be that a place like this would be the best for local items and niche health foods. The balance was more towards the former than the latter, though their cafe might be good.Notably, their selection of hummus was much smaller than their selection of beer cheese. Does anyone in Lexington eat hummus? If so, please let me know where to get some. This place had some alternative milks and tofu, but nothing distinctive or local and nothing that would really compete with a big box health food store. They did however have plenty of Ale-8. I will say that the fresh vegetable selection looked nice, they had a good bulk foods section, and they have a decent sized store overall, but some of their weaknesses just puzzled me.From my perspective, it's good enough to occasionally stop in and hunt for a deal, but not good enough to buy in and do all my shopping here."
"This place has been great every time we've gotten food here. We've only ever gotten takeout, but it's been an awesome experience each time. We are pretty basic, but we love the naan, the butter chicken, chicken tikka masala, and saag paneer. We love the flavor, portion, and spice level. We really are very lucky to have a place like this in Etown. Any time we have a craving for Indian food, we know Namaste is here for us and is consistently great. We'll have to eat in one of these days!"
"I've only eaten here a few times, but it's been fine on both visits. My last visit was a little over a month ago. I went after lunch, but before dinner, on a weekday and it wasn't busy. I wanted something quick, as I was out alone and running errands. It's located on Grant Line Road in a small strip center by Pizza Hut. You pay before you eat, which is kind of odd. I guess they must've had problems with people not paying. The restaurant was clean on the inside. The buffet was well-stocked, especially for not being busy. I went for my usual selections: hot and sour soup, crab Rangoon, green beans, and a small sampling of a few entrées. The hot and sour soup wasn't terrible, but it was a bit bland. The same went for the crab Rangoon. It wasn't very full and it lacked flavor. I missed out on green beans. They didn't look fresh. However, the entrées that I tried were good. I didn't have any complaints on those. The fruits were also fresh and the desserts looked so as well, although I didn't try them. This buffet is really inexpensive. I didn't know that prior to going, but it was a pleasant surprise. I only wished I had been more pleased with my Chinese buffet staples here. The owner waited on me and was very friendly and kept my glass full and the table clean. I would consider going back, but I'm not in a rush."
"One of the best buffets around the variety of food is top notch. The grill where you choose your own everything including your sauces to make the best noodles or rice dish of your liking is great. They even have hand dipped ice cream. Service is good and the restaurant is huge"

Asian Buffet is our go to restaurant for delivery. It always arrives hot and we have several favorites. Sweet and Sour Chicken, Chicken Egg Rolls, Beef Brocolli, Crab Rangoon, Chicken Lo Mein, Bourbon Chicken, Honey Chicken, Moo Goo Gai Pan, . They give large servings so you can go back and eat leftovers later in the night. Great service!! We like to eat in the buffet too, but since all restaurants are closed right now due to COVID-19 we have to order or pickup. We prefer to order. Yum Yum! Always good when your food delivery comes hot.

While in Kentucky my group stopped at Bubby's BBQ for some lunch. Bubby's BBQ has an all you can eat buffet and although I'm not a fan of open buffets the food here was so damn good I thought my grandma was in the kitchen cooking. The place doesn't look like much on the outside or inside, but I can excuse that because it''s clean and they concentrate on the food which is hot, fresh and delicious. A must try dish at Bubby's is the fried fish and the fried green tomatoes. I definitely give them a thumbs up!

Well kept and very clean, the service is always exceptional.3. The prices are fair for the large portions you get.4, Parking lot was clean, decent amount of parking space.Overall every trip has been a pleasant experience I highly recommend it!

It's great to have an Indian buffet near campus -- I hope this alone keeps them business. On my first visit we opted for the buffet because we were with someone who was inexperienced with Indian cuisine. I would never return for their buffet again (unless extremely desperate). The flavors were all either sweet or bland. Meats were not tender. Naan was soggy, soft, and wet? They literally passed white basmati rice with VERRRRY little flavor as biryani. Extremely disappointing.I'd like to give their a la carte menu a try though. Maybe they try to keep things at a low cost for their buffet and theirs more "flavor" in the individual entrees? I can only hope!

I am on a bus trip with 40 people. The service was can do and attentive. The restaurant at 600 was 90% full so they are doing something right. Cost was $17 ..they had steak, chicken baked and fried, ribs, meatloaf, mac anf cheese...2 salad tables, 3 hot entree and side tables, 2 dessert tables and ice cream machine. I really enjoyed the meatloaf and pea salad, the yeast rolls were hot and as others described. Tim was one of servers so we got a few jokes as entertainment. Husband enjoyed ribs, mashed potatoes (creamy) and apple cobbler. Right off I 75 so a great stop. Others raved about butterscotch pie...no one left hungry or unhappy.

Definitely like this buffet better then the first one we tried around the area. Nice sushi collection and everything was filled up. Service was great and price is fair. The overall facility is a bit dark and damp but, not terrible.

My husband & I were staying at the lodge for an artifact show so decided to visit the restaurant Saturday night around 6 pm. We wanted to get something to take back to our room so I checked the menu online first. I assumed we wouldn't be able to get the buffet they are known for to go.Ryan, who took our order was super friendly & helpful. He informed us that indeed we could get the buffet to go. With that, each of us would get two large styrofoam containers & an additional small plastic container for a dessert. We got so much that we actually went home with more food than we came with!Everything was/is delicious. My husband didn't think he liked catfish but loved theirs. We are also huge fans of the coconut shrimp, all of the cooked vegetable items we got were tasty. Desserts were good. The salad items were fresh. Everything was the correct temperature.I read some critical reviews on here but encourage anyone to give this restaurant a try. Ryan did mention there had been some changes in management & menu so if you didn't like it before maybe give it another shot! :)

Indian cuisine is one of my favorites and since living in Bangalore I have a different look on restaurants here. I always find myself comparing which sometimes isn't fair. Taj did not disappoint on any level. The staff was extremely friendly and the dining room was very clean.I sat down and took a look at the menu and decided to go with my two litmus tests. Gobi Manchurian and a chicken makhani, both ordered medium hot with a couple butter naan. The food arrived quickly and hot. I tackled the gobi first. It was by far hands down the best gobi Manchurian I've had since I left India. Not too much sauce, crispy fry on the cauliflower and had that sweet tangy spicy flavor that was phenomenal. The portion size was fantastic. Every bite was sensational. Then I moved to the makhani. Again the flavor was amazing. Creamy and rich, not watery at all which is the usual problem. The spice level was fantastic and the medium hot was right around a standard Indian level The chicken pieces were plentiful and the portion was a standard copper bowl size. The naan also was impressive. Definitely made in house in their tandoor. Not thick and doughy but slightly crisp but pliable. Absolutely perfect to tear apart and eat the Mikhano. This is definitely my go to spot in Lexington when I visit.Well done to the staff, chef and owner for great experience. If you are hesitant to try Indian food for the first time, make this your spot and you'll be hooked for life.https://www.tripadvisor.com/ShowUserReviews-g39588-d1085377-r949126252-Taj_India_Indian_Restaurant-Lexington_Kentucky.html#

"I was a little worried about giving Ole South a try. Buffets are nor usually my choice since most buffets are about quantity, not quality. I was also worried if the BBQ sauce was going to be the vinegar dip variety. But I had to complete the Owensboro BBQ trifecta.Well...those two fears were quickly put to rest at Ole South.I chose the buffet so I could sample everything. I ev3n ate a salad at a BBQ joint but that's boring to talk about.I had fried chicken, chipped pork, pulled pork, chipped mutton, potato salad, beans, Mac and cheese, slaw, mashed potatoes and gravy, cinnamon apple, broccoli casserole, green beans, and creamed corn. You can't go wrong with any of the meats. There are two BBQ sauces - a thin vinegar which I didn't like but the thick and smoky was an accurate description with some sweetness. The potato salad was unique as it seemed like it was a redskin variety with some pimentos and other things.Cream corn had a fresh and delicious flavor.I remember I didn't like the broccoli casserole and the cinnamon apple didn't ha e much cinnamon.Burgoo was very mutton heavy. Dessert was included as well. The bread pudding was my favorite out of tue desserts. Sweet tea was refreshingly sweet. All of this was worth the $15 plus tip I passed out. I will be making a trip back to Ole South in the near future."
"This is a Casey County staple and a place everyone should try. Their lunch and dinner menus are hearty, filling and delicious. Service is always very prompt and while not always the friendliest, the food makes up for it. The deduction of a star is based off their breakfast buffet. I was excited to try it on my trip home because I had always heard good things. I was disappointed. The gravy was not homemade, the eggs, unsalted and dry and the biscuits were definitely baked from frozen and not great quality frozen biscuits. Was it edible? Absolutely. The sausage and bacon were good as was the coffee but nothing to write home about. Would I come back for breakfast specifically? No. Will I come back for lunch and dinner? Absolutely! Gift shop was cute and I bought a cute blouse and jeans so that was pretty fantastic."
"Food was fresh and of better quality than your typical Chinese buffet. Attentive service. Friendly customers and a few seemed like regulars. Always a good sign. Restaurant was clean. I would recommend eating here if you were in town."
"This is a pretty decent Chinese buffet. The Resturaunt is fairly clean and the staff seem to always make sure the food is served fresh on the buffet line. They also serve all you can eat sushi."
"We order DoorDash and to go from here often. Food is always hot, the containers are packed and usually get free stuff in the box. We started ordering through doordash from here and since it's always so good we now go there often. Will def be eating there again."
"Food for lunch buffet is n ever disappointing.Several different dishes and meat to choose from. The price has gone up,so we go 2 or 3 times a year for birthdays and special occasions! The servers are polite.I still say it is Lexington #1 in Indian food."
"Nice place very clean fantastic fried chicken, great Mexican chicken. Close to I69. The Gaston is nice to but this is closer and tastes just as good"
"Small selection, but they have enough options for everyone. The noodles and pepper steak were okay, didn't taste very fresh, but everything else was great. I really like the green beans, I recommend them with dumplings. Dessert section is very limited, only puddings, sugar cookie. Banana pudding was pretty good.Service was great, the waiter was very attentive, and refilled drinks often.Ambiance is okay, it has old, authentic Chinese decor, but nothing special. Restaurant is very clean, including bathrooms. Dining room is very quiet, with dim lighting.Overall great food, good service, and great value. At the time of this review, the price is $13.50 pp, for all you can eat, which is a good value compared to other buffets."
"Every time I come to Kentucky, it's generally for a big racing event so of course people are waiting in line to go to Tony's or Frank and Dino's or Dudleys. But no trip for me is complete without coming to masala. The food here is just phenomenal. It's a touch on the pricey side which I feel like it's kind of been a trend with Indian food as of late. But you won't be disappointed with the quality or the portion size. This is just a little hole in the wall and a shopping center. That's pretty close to the freeway so it's very convenient to get to. The non-is so fluffy and hot and it just makes a perfect pairing with the sauce even though I know that's not how you're supposed to eat it. I also love all of the vegetarian dishes. This time I got the mushroom matar and the spice level was just exquisite. I took home all my leftovers for a meal the next day. And even though I had to refrigerator, I was gross and let it sit out and then I ate it anyways ....cold. And you know what... That shit was still good If you like Indian food, or even if you've never had it, and you want to try it; this is your spot"
"Great food and great service. Sushi is always fresh, hibachi grill is my fav. Salad bar is well stocked"
"My wife is not a big fan of buffet, but I enjoy them every once in a while. I have seen Golden Blossom Buffet pop up on yelp , multiple times, but I have not been in a position to be across the river to try it.Well, one Saturday I found myself on the right side of the river and remembered Golden Blossom Buiffet. I quickly headed over and was happy to get to try their offerings. I pulled into the parking a little later than I normally eat lunch, about 1:30. I walked in , was greeted by the friendly staff and shown my table. I placed my drink order and started looking over all the various foods they were presenting ... I tried my normal standbys, Hot and sour Sour Soup, General Taus chicken, Pepper Steak, etc... all very good. The Sushi choices were limited, but each of them full of flavor. I happily give them 5 starts because the food was tasty, and even at 2 on a Saturday when there were only a few patrons in the restaurant, they were replenishing or swapping out dishes. Service was great. All in all an excellent buffet for the money ."
"Kentuckians don't know what they're missing if they're not taking advantage of the Kentucky State Parks and the lodge buffet restaurants. This one is in the basement of the Rough River Dam Lodge. I didn't see ANY signage out front or on the way either. Just follow the directions to the lodge. I'll never forget taking one of my friends to a state park buffet. She asked "is this some sort of nursing home?" The majority to the state park restaurant patrons are elderly. I mean, I don't mean to be rude, but I'm just throwing that out there. Although the majority of patrons take advantage of the under priced buffet, they also have set menus too. I ate there three times during my weekend stay. Each time it was a different price. The two breakfast meals that I had were each very different. The bacon was crispy one day and floppy the next. On the floppy day, the scrabbled eggs were watery... that was definitely off day. The dinner options were slamming! The fried chicken and mashed potatoes were my favorites. I must mention, the manager was a jerk. He seated us in the very back, literally the furthest from the buffet. I didn't mind the walk, but my dad was having back issues, so I asked to be seated up front. This joker said "those tables don't fit parties of three"... referring to the same table that that the three of us had sat at the day before. The same table that had four chairs. I was so mad. As I was cashing out at the register, he answered the phone while waiting on me. He stated to the person on the other end, "no, it's nothing like it used to be, there's only XYZ on the buffet now." Seriously? What a way to sell it!"
"Not a bad spot for Chinese buffet! They've got a lot of variety, even for vegetarians. They have all the usual soups, chicken options, and even fried fish and fries if you're a picky eater. The selling point to me and my friend is hibachi. You pick the rice and all the toppings and put it on a plate, then you hand them the plate and tell them which sauce you want them to cook it with. I did the teriyaki sauce with mushrooms, jalapeños, and shrimp. Very filling and flavorful! Most of the other options from the buffet are hit or miss. I didn't like most anything, except the fried frog legs and the black pepper chicken. Even the fried rice in the buffet section is bland. You can get fried shrimp as well as shrimp with the head on. Those were good!On a Thursday evening, there were a decent amount of people! Lots of families coming in to eat. Tons of tables to accommodate too. It never got packed. The place is clean and they come around often to take away empty plates. Service is good. They're just there to do the job but they were nice. For the price, it's pretty good. $15 for each of us. I'm sure it's an inflation price but that's not a bad deal if you're eating at least 2 plates.Parking shares with other businesses so there's plenty of spots!"
"Hibachi Sushi Buffet is a great place, but because of a problem with the service on my second visit, it took me three visits to get my review right. Such a dedicated Yelper!Hibachi Sushi Buffet intrigued me. There were grand opening flags festooning the parking lot. There were lots of cars there, but the Yelp reviews were pretty lousy. I decided to try for myself. The restaurant has clearly been remodeled and updated. The decor is what I would call "modern classy Asian." It certainly has a bit of an exotic feel, but without kitsch. There is a massive variety of prepared foods, including lots of seafood, on the five hot steam tables. The food is tasty, fresh, and served at a safe temperature. The restaurant also has a hibachi, where you pick ingredients and a chef cooks them to order. There is also the best sushi buffet I have seen in Louisville. Finally, there is a cold bar, and a nice selection of Asian desserts. Why did my review take three visits?I would have given Hibachi Sushi Buffet five stars based on my first visit. The food was good, and the service was good enough. On my second visit, the food was good, but the service was unacceptable. In my opinion, a server at a buffet only has three tasks. 1) Keep my beverage filled. 2) Clear used plates. (Dirty plates are gross, and I don't want to be surrounded by evidence of my gluttony. 3) Bring my check promptly at the end of the meal. If service is up to par, I will tip as well as I would at a full service restaurant, but on this visit, the server didn't do ANY of that. After waiting and waiting for the check (and trying to make eye contact), I had to employ my foolproof strategy to get a check; I put on my coat and walked toward the door. The server chased me down and accused me of trying to skip my tab. By pushing the right combination of my "buttons," she qualified herself to hear my unfiltered opinion. On my third visit, a different server was assigned to me. (The first one may or may not have been cowering in a corner.) Food was good, and service was impeccable, even doing things that earn extra points (like refilling beverage after bringing the check.) I don't know if the server is this great to everyone (or if there is a picture in the break room captioned, "Don't piss this guy off!"I will be back. I like this place."
"Sitting in PACKED restaurant lobby down the street with 15 of my retiree friends. It's the week before Christmas!! One and half hour wait at 1130am. I call Jumbo and she assures me, will set up table for us immediately. So down we go!! What a pleasant surprise for all of us. Eight or nine stations, give or take. Piping hot food, filled to the brim and constantly being monitored. You name it, they got it. Excellent choice of American dishes. The Mac and cheese looked delicious!! I love their salmon and whitefish. The soups, egg rolls, and Chinese donuts were wonderful. Big table of sushi, huge aisle of salads, cold shrimp, fruits, banana pudding, parfait desserts. Lunch price $10.95. Did add 15% tip for large party. Wonderful huge room in back. But again, let me note, the food is constantly being monitored and filled. Piping hot!!! Before I left, I asked about Christmas. They will be open from 11a til 8p. Lots more seafood. They say, oysters, snow crab, etc. With a price of $18.95, what a deal!!! So join the Parker family (A Christmas Story), let it be your Christmas Story....Fa ra ra ra ra, ra ra ra ra!!!!!"
"My kids and I love this place. The food is always amazing and plentiful. I love their sushi and hibachi offerings and the place is always clean and the staff is friendly and helpful. It is affordable as well."
"We do love this Chinese buffet! The place has good food on the buffet some of whites actually really good and others are just ok. But over all we like it. Can get a little loud in there some times but what ya going to do. It also has take out so you can do that if that's your thing."
"It's been five or six years since I've been here . I was craving Chinese food and kept debating about just picking one thing or going to a buffet . I decided on the buffet for the variety . They use to have a bunch of different bao buns and potstickers (so I was slightly disappointed that they had one kind of potstickers) and no bao buns .The egg rolls definitely made up for it though. The fresh green beans were so good I couldn't stop eating them! My favorite though from the buffet was the chicken and veggies. However the hibachi side is the star of the show . Everything is nice and fresh. People were just piling up their plates and waiting for the chef to cook their food . The wait time at the hibachi side was minimal. The service though, my server was friendly and attentive coming over every so often to ask if I wanted more sweet tea. I'd get up to get another plate and when I returned to the table had been cleared with the exception of my silverware. They also have fresh sushi which I have to say looked pretty decent .The dessert bar includes cookies , ice cream , assorted mini cakes and fresh fruit .For 11.99 for the lunch buffet you can't beat it &there's definitely something for everyone ."
"Was hesitant to go, based on reviews. But, decided to go in today. The price is good and quality was average /above average. The food was regularly freshened. I was pleased with selection and taste. It was not too busy at 4:30 on a Sunday. Our waiter kept our drinks full and was very friendly. For $8.99 is was totally worth it!"
"Walked in to Discover old food that appeared to have been sitting out for hours, needless to say I left to eat elsewhere."
"I visit here often for lunch during the week- and take my food to go.They have sooooo many choices, and I would say around the times when I go the food is always hot and fresh. Staff is friendly- quick and easy. Prices are very reasonable."
"If you have not visited since the renovations you should. Everything is brand new. The environment is vibrant and eye appealing. They have all new food stations. The good has always been good here. Kudos to the owners for the upgrades."
"My go to for Chinese. Not like the Chinese I back in Miami, Fl but does have a variety of options. Food is always good, food temperature is good and the hibachi is delicious if you don't want to eat the items from the buffet.Only wish they had coke products instead of Pepsi. Overall, always a great experience and exceptional service."
