"We were in town visiting with our pup and were looking for pet friendly restaurants to enjoy. It was down pouring outside when we got there and found out that our pup could dine with us inside. We were so surprised but our pup loved the experience. She sat quietly under the table and just enjoyed the folks saying hi to her and the music and lights. The staff was super friendly, and we got a few different things to try. I got a scrambler where everything was all in one vessel and it was delicious. I've never had a tomato gravy until this experience and it had a kick to it, but I enjoyed it. We will definitely be back when we're in town again!"

"I saw an article about holiday pop up bars and Porch was on the list so we checked it out! It was actually the lobby bar with the holiday selection, not the Porch but it was no biggie! We approached the bar and it was VERY busy but that did not stop the bartenders from being incredibly efficient. I approached the completely full bar and was greeted + my order taken within maybe 20 seconds. All four cocktails were then prepared within a few minutes. We were all very impressed with how quick service was. We all got seasonal cocktails, Gingerbread Old Fashioned, Peppermint Espresso Martini and the Sugar Cookie Martini. Those might not be the exact names but thats the gist of what they were. Now let me say, we were in Louisville for the bourbon trail so we had been doing a lot of drinking throughout the weekend. We had a lot of seasonal cocktails and these (all of them!) were on the top of our list! They were all so wonderful! You know when you get a drink that has an amazing description and then when you taste it, it doesn't taste like the description? Well, this wasn't the case here! Our drinks tasted just like they were described! We loved our drinks so much we considered going back to this bar again later in the night! Take advantage of their seasonal menu while you can!"

Food was very good and what I liked best is the servings were a normal size not the huge, expensive mountains of food most places now serve. Lost a star because the coffee was luke warm, no matter how many times my cup was topped off the coffee was not hot."

"You just have to love the atmosphere. I have been to a number of old pubs in England and this harkens back to those days. The lobby and the restaurant are so darn comforting that I hate to leave. Mariemont, itself, is modeled after an old English village concept by Mary Emery. The Exemplar restaurant sits inside the Mariemont Inn - an old half-timbered and brick building.The food is some of the best in the area. I go often just for their omelettes and variations of eggs Benedict. I eat out almost every day and this warm, inviting, and comfortable place is on the top of my list. The quality is consistent. In addition, the wine list is varied - in a good way. I especially like the Chateau Montelena and the Super Tuscan. I strongly recommend that you give the National Exemplar a try."

Fish House/Café Beignet has my beloved beignets! I'd love to have strawberry toppings added but the plain ones served here are high quality and delicious. I also tried a few sides, which were exceptionally tasty: potato cakes, bean soup, macaroni and cheese. The service is quick and friendly, and the place has a nice atmosphere and ample dining space. I will return here for the beignets and side dishes."

"What is not to like here? A sparkly shiny chromed diner takes you back to the good old days. Once you enter you will be enthusiastically greeted and seated. The interior is very colorful with chrome and mirrors everywhere. Love the seats in pink, aqua and a light yellow. So cool. Their advertised specialty here are whispy thin pancakes. Even so I am not a huge pancake fan, I figured I'll give it a try. I ordered a combo plate which game with 2 eggs, meat of your choice and 2 pancakes. The pancakes come in several flavors and they also have a flavor of the week, which was lemon poppy when I visited. Of course I went for the lemon poppy, a decision that proved to be very delicious. My waiter was attentive without hovering. A great skill in my oppinion and much appreciated. He asked if I wanted to order anything else and then brought the check. The check was presented amidst a basket of tiny rubber duckies. Apparently you get to chose a duck to take home with you. How cute. The tough part is deciding which duck to adopt. I settled on a white dragon ducky just because. I wholeheartedly recommend this place for a fun atmosphere, great food and service and of course the rubber ducky."

Espresso was great! Food: We ordered a lot of food, lol. We wanted to try literally everything. The hot cinnamon roll was to die for. 4 of us split one as an "appetizer" - it was rich, so I'm glad we split it! All of our food was fresh, hot, and had good flavor. Which is only a little hyperbolic...but if an familiar employee isn't working, I am also sure to know several customers.It isn't fancy. But they have table service until about 9/9:30pm each night. The food is interesting and delicious. Solidly good every time. The specials are usually great too. The pulled pork nachos are huge and tasty, the crabby patty sandwich is delightful, the onion rings and the sauce with them are my favorite, the spinach salad is a great choice when you want something less carb-y and fried. And not only that...they have BRUNCH too!Saturdays offer a small, but familial breakfast menu. Sundays are the real deal with a small buffet and pancakes made to order. Mimosas and Bloody Marys...they have you covered.And all of this doesn't even begin to cover the trivia nights, art pop up shows, concerts and karaoke.The staff are wonderful. Sometimes when it gets busy they get a little backed up, but they have their eyes open in case you have to get their attention.I have never had a bad time at Tap Room and I return here regularly.It is my one stop shop.
