Jane H. "I ordered a Co ham for Derby & after I picked it up my husband & I agreed it was sliced ultra thin & shredded! We talked to the owner & not only did he deliver a new sliced ham at his expense he threw in some party rolls! Great job! We will definitely go back !"

Win S. "This is a cute and lively bar at the Gorge. Unfortunately, the food is NOT good. Way too salty and greasy - no thank you. I don't think I'll be coming back unless it's just for drinks alone and to hang out. I ordered the chili (way too much oil that congealed after a minute), quesadilla and hummus served with a very dry pita bread. My friend ordered a burger, which was apparently a better choice - but I cannot say firsthand. The time I went, the bar was bustling and crowded because it was trivia night. The host kept funneling messages/answers through a bucket that hung from a string on the wall and shuffled back and forth to the upstairs. Cute vibes and all. We were entertained by the trivia answers. Thank goodness because we waited what seemed like a looong time for our food to be ready. So slow!! Seems like this place was opened by climbers because they had fun decorations like pitons and portaledge hanging from the wall and cabin-like feel."

Marie P. "We visited the new location on Harrodsburg Road in Lexington Kentucky. The decor it's just as lovely as the other one in Chevy Chase. We were so pleasantly surprised with the brunch at Bella Café. Many of the menu items included a trip to the European breakfast bar. It was packed full of delicate pastries, meats, yogurt, juice and more.I had the Forest Omelette with mushrooms and goat cheese and a truffle butter for my bread. My husband opted for the Kentucky Benedict. We both enjoyed our meal very much and are looking forward to another visit."

Jasmine A. "I discovered Cultured on my trip to Louisville in 2021, and even though I was only in Louisville for four days, I went twice because Cultured is SO GOOD. Cultured was one of the places I was most looking forward to going when I went back to Louisville in 2023, and it did not disappoint.Cultured serves drinks (beer, wine, cocktails, and mocktails -- there's something for everyone), and they specialize in charcuterie boards. You can get charcuterie boards of various sizes, and you can select which cheese and meats you want (you're not forced to have a cheese or meat you dislike). The cheese and meat selection rotates, so there's always something new to try, and they add an assortment of fruits, vegetables, nuts, crackers, pickles, and more. Their charcuterie boards are truly AMAZING. And if in the mood for something lighter, you can just order an assortment of cheese and meat, without all the other items.Once again, we went to Cultured twice, once for lunch and once for a small snack. For lunch, we had a charcuterie board with Asiago, Chipotle Colby, Pimento, and "Ted: cheeses (Ted is an aged white cheddar made locally), and smoked salmon and beef salami. DELICIOUS!If in Louisville, stopping at Cultured is a must![Yelp collections: Louisville, KY 2021; Louisville/Indianapolis 2023; Louisville, KY 2023]"

Goodwood Brewing

Goodwood Brewing

Lynn X. "Hello Everyone:We stopped at Goodwood Brewing for their Stout and also some beer cheese and pretzels.Analysis:The Bavarian pretzel was very nice, not too much salt, and easy to break into smaller pieces to dip into the Lager beer cheese so every bit had some cheese! The beer cheese was quite good. Just the right amount of tang to it, thick (did not run off the pretzels), and a nice overall complex flavor.Their brand of stout was one of the best we have had. Tasted of chocolate, toffee and coffee. I can even see this poured over some vanilla ice cream or infused into an espresso layer cake. :-) Very nice brew. We are in the process of trying to find some for sale locally where we live in Arizona. The reason for the four stars (and not five) was because the restrooms were dirty and it was fairly warm inside the building (and it was very hot and humid outside so we were looking forward to cooling off). Considering we stopped in about 11:30 am, we would not expect this to be an issue. Because the ambient room temperature made our beer warm up faster than we would have liked. But, a fun place to stop in, order their Stout, some large soft pretzels and some beer cheese and enjoy!"

Jennifer C. "Excellent Mexican food. From nachos to churro dessert it was a pleasure eating here. My mom got a margarita and she said it was the best one she's had in a while. Mind you she has one any chance she gets. I ordered the texanas which has beef, chicken and shrimp - absolutely delicious and enough for two people if you're not starving. We ordered the churros and the fried dough with chocolate and honey - it was a perfect ending to our meal. Very good quality Mexican restaurant - definitely recommend!"

Emily K. "We have really enjoyed multiple visits here over the last few months. The food comes out quick (especially nice when with little kids) and is still so fresh. Happy to note they have gluten free bread available. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. We had a large party full of little kids for lunch and the staff/manager went above and beyond. Plus, always a good sign when our kids love it too. Looking forward to dining on the patio when warm weather returns. Give them a try!"

Paul S. "I am ashamed to say that I have never been to Champions. We decided to try it this evening. I had every intention to order one of their pizzas (which have been highly recommended), but when I saw they had chili dogs, I just couldn't pass up the craving. Perfectly grilled 1/4lb. all beef hotdogs topped with chili and cheese and a side of tater tots. My wife decided on the BBQ bacon cheeseburger and fries. Both were excellent and we will definitely be back! Not sure what I will order next time, but it will definitely include a basket of delicious onion rings! Wide range of selections on the menu for everyone. I can't wait to go back and try something else on the menu!A true hidden gem in Richmond!"
