Butcher Block

Good local place that has great prices and selections of meats and other foods. I enjoy driving up here to get ribs, pork, steaks and other selections of meats. You can get whatever you want from this Butcher shop and I highly recommend it to everyone.

Taylorsville is our new hometown for now, so when I am not working in Louisville, I am exploring. So, Tony and I decided to check them out.You can purchase meat that they have butchered and seal wrapped, or you can bring them an animal to butcher for you.You can also purchase in bulk.Very clean and family operated.Some dry bulk food products also and seasonings/rubs and BBQ Sauces.

I ordered half of a cow through Mulberry Orchard, and Butcher Block processed the cow. The prices were fair, the communications and keeping me up to date on my cow was great as well. Staff were also friendly in helping me fill out my form and explaining the various cuts of meat to me. When the day came to pick up my cow, the staff were super friendly and patient with me, as it was my first time getting a massive order of meat via a butcher. I didn't realize I needed to bring a box, but they grabbed some spare boxes for me to use to get my meat to their house. I'll be giving the Butcher Block my business again for sure! Also, if you don't have your own meat to process, there was plenty there for purchase!

Great butcher shop in Taylorsville. It's a little bit of a drive but well worth it. If you're looking for specialty cuts they have it. If they don't, order it. They will have it in a couple of days. Not much parking you might have to circle. This is my go to for local meat. Pork belly, or whole strips offal and much more.

Smells horrible every time I've been in here. Small selection of meat. Mediocre pricing. Rude owners. Don't waste your time or money here

Had a large beef processed there1500#s on the rail 797#.When I picked it up they shorted me 10+ lbs of filets and a 15-17lbs of NY strips. I've had over 15 beefs processed for the year so I know what to expect. Stealing is stealing!! They threw their hands up. Finally after 3-4 layers of employees the owners boy very rudely offered some packs of cuts from the cooler. Refused to cut it. I took it as better than nothing. Zero accountability!Ever question the products they sell, go around back and look at the animals they are processing. They need to be out of business!!

Very unprofessional meat not properly labeled charged 15.00 extra for vacuum sealed summer sausage was tubed cut in odd lengths wrapped in white pepper no seal don't know what I'm getting out hamburger or breakfast sausage .. won't be back...o000000

If you go to thier fb page they offer a prize for a 5 star rating I told them that that was illegal and posted the federal trade commission law and the blocked me I asked them why they had to bribe someone for a rating why not earn it but seems they can't do what's right thier processing is disgusting it smells horrible in the store like rotted meat and we dropped our meat off there last fall I ended up paying for dog food basically when we got our meat back we couldn't even it eat it it was so bad wasted our money

Got great products from them at a very reasonable price. Meat was vacuumed sealed. I'll be back next year.
