Bus Stop Diner

We were trying to find a place to eat before 8a between slade and booneville ky and no where was open except this diner (or if google said they were there, they wouldn't answer their phone to confirm). And this place was OPEN! Interior is nicely done with southern charm decorating. Staff is very friendly and nice, place is clean. Food portions are a great size and affordably priced. Desserts are DELICIOUS. I had the peanut butter pie because it was made in house and it was so so good. A must stop if you are in the area!

This is a nice local diner. The food was warm and tasty. I had the catfish with fries my hubby had the cod. My catfish had a light breading, his was a thicker breading. The diner is local and alot of locals were there, they made us feel welcome thought it was obvious we were outsiders. Reasonable and good food, my husband's family is from the area we will return.

Terrible experience. Stopped in to try this place before an elementary basketball game. Party of 3, drink orders were quick, waitress returned a couple of minutes later to take our food order, and told us it would be about 20 minutes. After waiting patiently for a full hour from the time we'd sat down, I finally asked another waitress how much longer our order would be (the one who took our order had not been back once since). She went to the kitchen, and informed me that they had not yet started it. Others had already entered and been served since we sat down. Even after this mixup, they still made us pay for our drinks. Will NEVER be back. It is sad to see a local place like this that doesn't even care enough to let us know that they forgot to start our order.

I like the home cooking and meals common to our area. The western omelette is great. The country cured ham breakfast is my favorite. Friendly staff. With all the menu no one leaves hungry.
