Bucks Tavern

My in laws brought us to Bucks Tavern to show off one of their favorite spots in the area. They usually sit at the bar, but it was a busy Saturday night and with four of us, there just wasn't room. We ended up waiting about 20-30 minutes for a table and hung out in the little entrance room where they had a few seats. We realized most people were hanging out in their cars and that was probably a better and warmer idea.Our server was friendly and grabbed waters and our other drink orders right away.We ended up ordering their version of mozzarella sticks (half moon shaped pieces) and stuffed mushrooms (deep fried and stuffed) for appetizers and both were great. I loved the house made sauces that paired with them.I ended up ordering the Italian Beef sandwich with extra giardiniera and a side caesar. The beef was really flavorful, but the sandwich started falling apart when I tried to eat it so I ended up going knife and fork with it. I think next time I'd order it with cheese like another Yelper did and maybe some Italian dressing so pour over. The giardiniera was delicious!My husband got the chicken fingers and french fries (they don't come as one meal) and ranch and the portions are very generous. He didn't end up finishing everything, but really enjoyed it.My FIL got the pot roast sandwich with a side chopped salad and my MIL just got the chopped salad. THey love this spot and especially the chopped salad.The server made sure our waters were full and checked on us frequently.The whole space feels like someone's basement with the decor and the food definitely has a more personal touch. The portions on everything were great and the pricing seemed about right for the area and what you receive.Would come back again!

First time to Bucks, always crowded when we go by, I had the fish and chips and my husband had fish sandwich, both good but nothing special. Our server was very nice, no complaints.

First time here but the atmosphere is great friendly staff & they got a fireplace I'm sold

Love this place!! Dan's burger is my favorite!! Their fries are great! I have had their roast beef sandwich is great as well. Their chopped salad is yummy!! They also have where you can put your name in ahead of time because it can be busy in the evenings!

The food is always delicious and the service is wonderful! The atmosphere is cozy and friendly. We will definitely return!!

Bucks is consistently one of our favorite local casual dinner spots. The service and food is always great and the cornbread croutons on the Santa Fe salad are the best! They do a great job at takeout too.

I love this place. My go to is the fish sandwich and the chopped salad. I also love their bean soup when they have it. My husband loves the burgers and potato skins. And the service is always top notch.

Food is excellent and service is always good. It's becoming our "go-to" for dinner because the quality is consistent each time we visit.
