Bubby's BBQ

While in Kentucky my group stopped at Bubby's BBQ for some lunch. Bubby's BBQ has an all you can eat buffet and although I'm not a fan of open buffets the food here was so damn good I thought my grandma was in the kitchen cooking. The place doesn't look like much on the outside or inside, but I can excuse that because it''s clean and they concentrate on the food which is hot, fresh and delicious. A must try dish at Bubby's is the fried fish and the fried green tomatoes. I definitely give them a thumbs up!

Excellent every time!Bubbys is always such a delight to stop and eat whenever we are in the area. The restaurant is always clean, and the food is hot and fresh.Besides their amazing pulled pork, one of our favorites each trip is the fish. Always fried fresh, the fish is light and tasty. Their fried chicken is always cooked perfectly and is flavorful and juicy with just the right amount of crispy breading. The sides are always plentiful! From collard greens to mashed potatoes, corn, green beans, and plenty others!Bubbys also has a salad bar, which is just the right size. The salad and toppings are always fresh and kept well stocked. Located just west of interstate 75 (exit 25), Bubbys should be everyone's lunch or dinner destination. The fish is so good, I'm tempted to drive an hour each direction just to eat there!

Hubby and I were just driving around this Sunday and we came across this all u can eat place. Now, I didn't say BBQ because there was none. No BBQ was to be found anywhere, with MAYBE the exception of the pulled pork. We were actually going to Subway to grab an old standby sammich, but we thought " this place is busy, let's try it", sure wish we would have stuck to our original idea. Everything was pretty dry. From the biscuits, to the chicken flats and wings, to the fried chicken. The sauerkraut was over the top sour! Now, I love me some sauerkraut, but this was too pucky sour for me. The mashed taters were not fresh, the fish was over cooked, the corn was def not good, etc. The rolls were good though! Maybe a little flat. And the brownies were pretty good. Too bad they serve Pepsi. Anyhow, not sure what they served before we got there to earn such rewards, but it wasn't the food we got today!!!! Place was clean though.One last note...DO NOT TRY THE CHOCOLATE GRAVY. IT WAS NOTHING BUT COCOA AND UNDISOLVED GRANULATED SUGAR. SO GRITTY WITH SUGAR THAT IT MADE ME GAG!

Great buffet right off the interstate in Corbin.Friendly service and a buffet with a lot of options. The fried catfish was my favorite, but the barbecue was also pretty good. Quaint atmosphere.Worth stopping in if you're in the area.

Sunday brunch was good breakfast items were great Fried chicken was dry ribs were either burned or raw

We completed our week long participating in Corbin's Tourism and Convention Commission Restaurant Week!! We both had the BBQ burger complete with pulled pork and with fries as well, It cooked to perfection! This place is wonderful and the staff is very friendly. The buffet has a fresh salad bar. It has a very cosy atmosphere and is very inviting. Everything was absolutely delicious. We will return on our next time thru. this was a great place to end our week long tour.

TERRIBLE. Food was cold and very dry. Worst corn I've ever had. Couldn't even finish our meal.

Only thing anybody would like about this place is that it's all you can eat buffet. Fake catfish. It's Asian swai not farm raised American catfish. Food was tasteless no flavor. Waste of money.

I'm not sure how they're getting 4-5 star reviews. We've gave this place a few tries and every time always ends up the same way.. disappointed. It's bland, dry and just not good. And there's no such thing as BBQ when we go here, there's nothing BBQ wise any time we go except a couple burnt strands / ends of pork that's not edible for anyone. I can honestly say I'm not giving this place another try. It'll never change.

Always a great value! Food quality is very good. The restaurant is clean and well stocked.
