Smallish but very nice park on the busy Lexington road in Louisville Kentucky. The last week or so I've actually driven past this park a few times when going to dine in Frankfort ave. So it caught my attention. Today after having lunch at Ciao with my wife and my youngest daughter who is one we noticed they had there small spray ground going and it wasn't crowded. It was 90 degrees so we pulled over and said "why not, looks like a cool park". The park has some public restrooms, a tiny skate park, a playground, some swings and a little spray ground. My one year old who just started walking a few weeks ago had yet to experience a splash pad or spray ground so this tiny bit crowded concrete one was a perfect introduction. She loved it! She showed no fear or hesitation and she played hard! The playground was pretty updated and nice and we spent some time on that. I didn't have my older daughters with me but I'm sure they would have loved the skate park. It wasn't very big. But it looked cool and there aren't many skate parks in Louisville so it's nice to know about another one that exists. The only downfall to this park I have to put back on the city. The two trash cans in the parking lot were overflowing. And trash was blowing everywhere. It was obvious someone had a birthday party there over the weekend. We visited on a Monday around 130pm so they had ample time to get a crew out there to touch up. I didn't dare walk in the bathrooms to see them after looking at the trash in the parking lot. Overall still this is a super nice and fun park. Kids are in there last week of school so not sure how crowded this place gets. But if it doesn't get too bad I'd like to take my older kids back for the skate park and let my two youngest go wild in The splash park.

Breslin Park is a solid option for a small park, with several options for the kiddos. I decided to try it out after picking up my son from daycare on an unseasonably warm day. What I like about it:* It has several parking spots in a lot.* The swings and jungle gym are within a few steps of the parking lot. * Play area has several benches around for easy seating.* There's a small walking path if that's your thing.* It has a spray park for hot days.* It's next to the brand-new skate park. * There are a few covered picnic tables and a cookout area. * The park is clean and seems to be well taken care of. It's also at the busy intersection of Lexington Road and Payne Street. While this may not bode well for an easy walk to the park, it does make me feel a little safer since I know there will be several passers-by. Excited to have this park as an option for my family!

There's a cool small park/playground area that I took my daughters to over the break. We had a good time it is a pretty solid small park it has a good playground with swings and slides so they enjoy doing that. It's one of our favorite things to do is visiting local parks and let them slide and the kids and have fun so that's what we did and this is you know a pretty good area for sure nice clean park that I would highly suggest

Adequate park conveniently located at the Lexington/Payne intersection. Visitors are primarily drawn to the splash and skating zones, with the former in particular being a big hit with kids. There are also some small walking paths and picnic benches, though given how little shade there is here, there are better options around for a picnic/cookout. Some shoddy graffiti "artists" have clearly had some fun here, but Breslin Park is reasonably clean otherwise, especially considering that it's right off a busy intersection. As with other parks in the Highlands/Irish Hill area, lingering after dusk isn't the savviest decision; go down a little further to Seneca Park for your evening stroll needs. Generally speaking, though, Breslin Park is an acceptable option in a pinch and the kiddos will get a big kick out of splashing around.

Nice little park nestled in by Payne and Lexington. They have a water foutain play area for the kids in the summer-I always see a lot of families walking back from the park with their bathing suits on during the hot months. They have swings and a play area for the little ones. A very large grassy area that you can play frisbee in-the only problem is the mowing is not kept up with. (grass itches me if I am in the long stuff)They have picnic tables and garbages and restrooms/drinking fountain. I have been there when people are having birthday parties or other get togethers with their families. There is a paved path that runs around the outside of the park and the butts up against the wall of the cemetary-which is barbed wire fence. The park does allow dogs, at least we have not had any issues with our's being there with us while on a leash.

Remember the big old sprinkler things at the parks before they took them all away? Well Breslin Park still has one for the kids to frolic in. (And the adults too if you are uninhibited enough. Yeah, but keep your clothes on! This is NOT a pool and we don't need no weirdos.) Super fun to play in the sprinkler and they have a good swing set too.

I wish this place had some proper shade, but overall very happy with our visit. Love the sprinklers. But the slide is hotter than hell so make sure the kids keep their legs up on summer days!
