Brendon's Catch 23

Rebecca was the best server. Her knowledge of the wine and menu was top notch. Intimate dining, with very fresh menu items(Not pictured) we started the meal with Warm Jar of King Crab and Butter. 10/10 recommend. I had the 8oz Filet with roasted potatoes. 9/10. My fiancé had the Seared Yellowfin Tuna Special 10/10 recommend, I will say I'm not the biggest seafood girl, but it was amazing. I'd order it myself. We ended the night with decaf coffee and espresso. We will definitely be going back.

Fantastic dining experience, every time. Upscale without being pretentious. Always a strong selection of seafood (if the seared tuna is on the menu, get it; if you want something else--and there are many excellent options--get an order to share anyway!). Steaks are excellent. Quality sides. Great cocktail menu (smoked old fashioned prepared tableside is a must-try experience). Tasty desserts.Service and atmosphere are top quality. Servers are knowledgeable, attentive, and welcoming. The bar area is lively, the restaurant has a great vibe, and there are good private dining areas as well.All in all, a spot well worth visiting for a special occasion, a business meeting, or just a high-quality night out.

Our friendly server Ross made our time at Brendon's Catch 23 the best. He was personable and honest without pushing his opinions on us. He said that servers have to take a 19 page test before they're able to work here! WOW!They were very accomodating for my gluten allergy and I was able to easily navigate the menu. We like to try interesting appetizers and the Cauli-mari was AMAZING. We would order it again in a heartbeat. The ambiance was lovely and we were not rushed at all. We loved the little lamps on the tables and the beautifully lit dining room. We will be back whenever we are in Louisville!

No, just no. Ridiculous pricing for what you get and the service was so poor. Ordered Shrimp Pesto Basil Linguini ($32.75) which arrived with only 5 small pieces of shrimp, unseasoned and without the cheese finish as described on the menu. Our server never came back to the table to see how the food was, so we asked the food runner for some condiments we needed and she acted like this was a problem. Finally walked up to the bar to order a drink since our server was absent. Got a glass of 6 oz of Doau wine that I was charged $25 for. Check with any other local restaurant and you'll see this is excessive. Will never go back or recommend Brenden's Catch to anyone. Nobody in our group of 4 will be back. P.S. it wasn't even very busy there that night.

Fantastic spot! Ambiance and the food was top notch!! Calamari was delicious and my steak was one of the best!! The server was so knowledgeable and explained the menu so well! This was an impromptu date and could not have been better! Definitely will be back!!

I haven't been here in years and have wanted to come back to see if it still lives up to the hype. We got the clam chowder to start and my husband thought it was the best in the city. Te calamari was good though standard with the exception of the ponzu, which I've never seen with calamari before so that was a nice touch. The sea bass was excellent, very light. I just thought the hash that came with it was a little dense and salty. The halibut was perfection though and came with a creamy, lemony sauce. Definitely a great vibe and time.

Brendon's Catch was fantastic. The food was outstanding. Flavors were amazing. Not greasy. Good size portions. I didn't think I had room for desert but our fabulous waiter Jamie suggested the butter cake and it was simply amazing. It was big enough for two but I managed to eat most of it myself lol Everyone was pleasant and friendly from the moment we walked in. The atmosphere was great for date night or a relaxing night out with friends. I could see someone renting the whole place for an event as well. Sorry no pics because I like to enjoy my evening more than I like to document it. We will definitely be back.

This was my second time at Brendon's Catch 23. I ordered lobster tail and a manhattan. My date had the seared scallops. Our server was amazing. The food was so fresh. Lobster tail and scallops had the perfect texture. Will definitely be back to explore more of their menu.

We had the most incredible dinner here! Our waitress (I can't recall her name now as it's been a few days, Rachel or Rebecca I think?) she was the best! We started with the corn clam chowder topped with crab, had steak and lobster and steak and scallops, the macaroni and cheese and potatoes for a side. The steaks were cooked to perfection and the seafood was unmatched in cook, flavor and texture!!

Tonight was our second visit, and this was just as good as the first time. We were lucky to have the same waiter this time as the first, Braylon. He ensured we had everything needed and even made sweet tea for me the last visit in November, and remembered us from that visit. Each table as an individual light for added romance, which you can turn off or adjust the lighting if needed. 10/10 recommend!
