Husband and I went for Valentines dinner this evening. First time patrons. Set menu for the day. The meal was 100% already cooked. It was so obviously heated under broiler before being served. Maybe the steak was cooked to order, and that's being generous. My husband's risotto was barely cooked. You could bite the rice and chew like long-grain rice with the husk intact. This meal was exactly how you'd expect mass food to be prepared for a cheap wedding. I plan to ask for a refund. The crème brûlée was barely cold and yet the sugar topping was cold as ice. Clearly had been sitting out or made hours before being served. At the end we got two chocolates with the labeled ingredients of red dye numbers 40 and 3. Yes, the ones that have been banned in Europe for years and recently banned here. $350. Let that sink in. I feel sickened by the value for that cost. We saved for this meal. No wonder why we don't go out for nice meals after working 80 hour weeks. This is how you get treated.

My boyfriend and I went here for an early Valentines dinner since it's been on our bucket list for a while, and we loved it! We started with the lavender lemon drop and the aeporal spritz, they were both good, but not our favorites! My boyfriend got the French onion soup as an appetizer. I am not a big soup fan, but I did try it and it was one of the best soups I've had! For entrees, I got the duck and he got the trout. The trout was significantly better, but the duck was still good! The brussel sprouts were amazing, and the potatoes were good as well. We followed it with the French 06 cocktail, and the Comtesse Marion Pinot Noir. The French 06 cocktail was okay but the wine was amazing! For dessert we got the creme brûlée. My boyfriend is not a dessert person, but he ate more of it than I did! It was so good. The service was pretty amazing, and we would definitely come to this beautiful establishment again! I definitely recommend this place for a special occasion.

1. Cocktails were amazing. 2. Charcuterie was well done and just the right size. 3. I was wanting the pate to be smoother and more refined. 4. The waiter was very distracted and had very little contact and eye contact with us. 5. The broth on the mussels was divine. However, I feel like they might have benefitted from soaking a bit longer to help fight the grit.

What is the best thing to do on a warm July evening in Kentuckiana? Visiting Brasserie Provence. The ambiance not at all what you may expect . It was cool and inviting. The staff were welcoming and friendly. Being by myself (which I usually am) I was given options on where I wanted to sit. I ended sitting at the very comfortable bar. I ordered the Mélange - a selection of cheeses, sausage and a pate along with jam, mustard, and cornichons. I paired it with a glass of Pierre Sparr Riesling from my favorite region -Alsace . I had also ordered Lyonnaise- a fantastic salad, but requested it to take out. By the way had it today it was amazing too. So if you find yourself wanting something different. Please come check this place. Fine dining, yes. Stuffy, no! Merci

I recently hosted a business lunch for 10 people on a weekday at Brasserie Provence. We made reservations and were seated on time. The staff was so friendly with recommendations and they made sure no one waited long for a refill. I heard no complaints and personally found my meal to be delicious. The raspberry sweet tea was a refreshing summer treat, and everyone raved about the pommes frites. While the price point here is on the high side, this is an upscale establishment that brings the quality and experience providing a great value if you have the budget for it.

Ambiance was very authentic. We went on a Tuesday evening and basically had the place to ourselves. Everything was very clean and orderly. Our drinks were always full, as service was always on it. Everyone complimented their food and portions were big. Even soup serving was nearly a meal in and of itself. I was pleasantly surprised by the sorbet dessert. I thought it would be a mix of pear, blood orange, and pineapple.. but each flavor was served separately, so I got 3 scoops.

Wow! This restaurant was spectacular. I love French culture, especially the food, and this restaurant has hit all of these out of the park, from the ambiance to the bread to the seasoned olive oil to the wine list to entrees to the creme brulee. Everything was so good! The owner made a trip over to our table to chat, and I got to practice my French with him, too, which was a sublime experience! Whenever I come back and visit family, this will be the first place we have dinner :) Merci beaucoup pour une belle soiree!

I've been here several times, and once again, it was very good. I made reservations this time because of it being a Friday night, I wasn't sure of how packed they get. When we arrived there were a lot of people but we were seated right away.
