Boston Road Animal Clinic

We have used this clinic for our dogs for about 20 years. Dr Burns and his staff are wonderful. You can see that everyone there truly love what they do and really care about the animals they treat. A++++

I love Dr. Burns and his staff. Having that said , I'm very disappointed in the grooming. The cut wasn't good and the cost went up fifteen dollars. I questioned this big increase in cost, the girl shot back " If we didn't let his hair get so long and matted, it wouldn't cost so much" and then stormed off. I've had grooming done there for several years and made an appointment elsewhere .... I WILL continue medical care with Dr. Burns.

I can't say enough about Dr. Burns, and how wonderful this place is. They have been treating my parents' pets, my cat, and now my boyfriend's. They always go above and beyond to do what is best for the animal.I have a very injury prone cat. He's had to have major surgery to reroute his urethra, had to have his bladder dilated, popped one of his knees out of socket, and sliced open his paw. Every time, Dr. Burns has been able to save my baby boy. The staff is so friendly and caring. They know me, and my cat, by name. It never feels like I am bothering them when I call with my many, many questions or concerns. When Tugger had to spend a few nights after surgery, they let me come say goodnight. I know that they always have his best interests at heart, and I am grateful.Also, the pricing is extremely fair. They sell the medicine supplies roughly at cost (I was able to get an IV bag, ten needles, and four cans of prescription food for $30.00). Sometimes, Dr. Burns does take a slower approach with his diagnoses, but he doesn't do it with my best interest at heart, but my pet's. Every time I have a friend who gets a new pet, I always say to take them to Boston Road Animal Clinic. I will never be able to say enough good things about them, and I will always be so thankful for Dr. Burns.

I have had a great experience with treatment of my dog's glaucoma. Dr. Venable and other staff have been responsive, knowledge, and concerned about my dog's ongoing care.

Loved this vet office when Dr Burns was there. Since he retired and sold the practice it is AWFUL. Besides the cursory exam on my 12 yo dog, the new vet tech cut my dogs nails past the quick and made them bleed ( and didn't even say sorry or do anything) and then the office manager insisted I had a prior balance. Just randomly added a balance from nowhere and was rude about it. Luckily I had my office visit notes and receipts from several prior visits to prove there wasn't a balance. Bad vet care and worse office practices. I've changed vets.

This place is under new management and it's unrecognizable. It used to be a warm welcoming place with a loving staff and wonderful animals that needed homes. Now it's sterile and unwelcoming. I'm going to find a new place to take my animals. It breaks my heart because Dr. Bob is a wonderful vet but it's just not the same.

Thank you to everyone at Boston Road animal clinic for always going out of your way to help. Dont know what my mom and all of her dogs would do wo you. You always go above the call of duty to help out. You all are always so kind,helpful and friendly. Dr and Mrs Burns u are a godsend and of course we cant forget Ashley. I am forever in yoyr debt. Thanks again!

Boston Road Animal Clinic is a wonderful place to have your pets cared for. The staff is very caring. Dr. Burns works hard to care and save the little ones we love. His wife personifies the love of animals all of us should have. If you need a place that will listen about your pets health and want honesty about their issues come here. No one could care more than they do. We've been bringing our pets here for 15 years.

Awesome service for my kitty getting ready to fly. People are great. Super service during this pandemic and my 10 year old cat was calm after getting shots. Your pets deserve to go there!

We absolutely love Dr. Burns and the staff at Boston Road. They are always so nice and helpful and really do care about the animals. We have a dog that is very timid and doesn't trust people but she likes the staff here. My other dog ended up getting diabetes and Dr. Burns has been so patient with us as we learned everything. I would highly recommend this vet!!
