Nice little place for a bite! We took advantage of the beautiful day and sat out back. Bar keeper helped us out right away and the Philly & Boonburger were good. We got our authentic Vevay stop made and appreciated the small town hospitality.

I have a love hate relationship with Boondoggles. First experience was not great..the wings were dry and didn't have much flavor and because smoking is allowed inside everything reeked of cigarette smoke, even my canned drink.HOWEVER, they make a dang good bacon jalapeno cheeseburger! No it's not anything fancy, it's just a really good burger. If you stop by for a drink and need some nosh, that's the way to go.

Okay here we go. My husband and I went here this past Saturday about 9:30pm. What you will find is a very typical bar, low lighting, smoking permitted still within and a bar tender that does it all, the make and serve the drinks , and cooks right in front of you. You can tell this is a "local" establishment where your name is known. The food just that "bar food" yet Amazing! We had pretzel bites with beer cheese and fried mushrooms to start off with, a few bottles yuengling, and burgers and fries. Everything was fresh and hot. If you're looking for something fancy this place is not it. If you're in for great service and food in a casual atmosphere this is the place for you. FYI do draft here, only bottle beer

This was our first trip to Indiana, and I couldn't be happier that I found this place before we left. The food was very good (friend pickles for the win) and the service was amazing. The ladies were sweet from the get go. 10/10 would definitely make it to come back here if I'm ever in the area again.

While driving through Vevay, I found Boondoggle's listing online and called to place a to-go order. The lady who answered the phone was very nice and said our food would be ready to pick up in about 10 minutes. I only went in to get our food, but it looked like it might be a cool place to hang out. I noticed an outdoor seating area around back, but it was 39 degrees that day, so a little cool to eat outside. The food we ordered was great and reasonably priced. I'd go there again if/when traveling through that area.

Attentive service from the bartender. Large variety of domestic beer, limited liquor selection including gin. Touch tunes juke box, a pool table. We seemed to be there early for a Friday night at 1030. When we left at 1230am is when the crowd seemed to show up. It is under new management. They seemed to have spruced the place a bit from from what it used to look like. Still a smoking bar, but have a very nice veneration system that seems to suck the smoke right up and out. Overall very good experience, but was definitely for a much younger crowd as by 1230 we were the ones read to leave and everyone else seemed to be coming in.

The food was great however I was only able to eat 2 bites before I went to the bathroom and came back and thr bartender threw my food away and expected me to still pay for it. She was arrogant and very sexist. She only payed attention to the men. she ignored me and my sister all night. And basically had to yell to get her attention. We were very patient. She then rolled her eyes at me when I ask her to take my sandwich off my bill because SHE THREW IT OUT WITHIN 5 MIN OF RECIEVJNG IT.... Her name is Lori BTW....

Refused to serve us food because one person in our party didn't have their ID on them. We are all very obviously far over 21. Server said there was a sign on the door saying they wouldn't serve with an ID. The sign only says you have to be 21 to enter, nothing about an ID being required. I get it if that's your rule, but make the sign more clear and don't be rude.

4 stars because the service was very good. The bartender handles everything from drinks, taking order, cooking order and serving! It is very much a local bar type place, some bikers leaving as we came in. Inside is dark, smelled like cigarettes a bit, there's an outside area in back but it's also for smoking. Food is bar food straight up. If you want to have some brew with local folks, burn one out back or an okay burger this is it. We stopped in on a nice fall Sunday and trust me not much doing in Vevay on Sunday.
