Boombozz Craft Pizza & Taphouse

We were passing through and stayed a night in the area. Wanted something tasty and this place already had decent reviews. So I want to add our two cents. The service was awesome. Our waiter was knowledgeable and very helpful. This meal set the bar for the rest of our trip and we have already said it was one of our top meals of the week. I had the pepperoni pizza with hot honey "the Don" and my husband had the specialty pizza, "Tony supremo"with wings. Everything was great and the drinks were top notch. We had several of the blueberry belle. Highly recommend. If we are ever in the area again we will be sure to stop by. It was super busy and well controlled. Love the decor and decorations for the holidays.

Bar was hopping for a Wednesday afternoon. The beer choices are plentiful, and my double Makers and Coke was STRONG! 2 ladies behind the bar kept drinking, and food orders passed out quickly and accurately. My sandwich was delicious. Chips were tasty. Restaurant feels bougie, but the bar area is blue collar. I'd go back.

This place is known to locals for the craft pizza. We started off with the Asiago Cheese Bread. I recommend that you get the extra sauce. This is traditional garlic and olive oil glazed baked bread with 3 different cheeses that is cut in to 16 pieces. A great accompaniment, is the soft pretzels which si a Bavarian style pretzels with in house beer cheese Queso.Like many places that offer pizza they also offered a variety of wings. I always prefer the Blue Cheese as a dipping sauce with the wings. I had the 6 pc BOOM BOOM Wings which are a special in-house dry rubbed wings that are marinated for over 24 hours. My wife opted for the less heat Green Chili Jam flavor while i tried the Book hot. And I must say the Boom hot is HOT! A better middle of the road would be the Thai Chili that is more milder. Both versions we had were moist, hot and well cooked just right. The White Pie Pizza, with Goat Cheese, mozzarella, Asiago, Romano and Ronita cheeses with a garlic olive oil glaze topped off with fresh basil with Marinated grilled chicken is a unique and favorable pizza. But not my cup of tea. However the New York Style topped with Smoked Brisket or Ribeye steak is a meat lovers drew. A good selection of vegetables including pep-Aden peppers makes creating your own a true delight.If you want a stock pick, I have to recemmended the International Pizza of the year, the Fire Roasted Chicken. Overall this place has welcoming inviting feel to the place. A truly good experience with excellent and attentive service.

Good, not great. Our service was lacking. We did get our drinks refilled once each but otherwise we didn't see our server. We were pleased that our order came out correctly the first time. We had two individual 8" pizzas. Mine since I'm vegan was all veggies and no cheese. I subbed the black olives for banana peppers and they tasted great. My pizza was loaded with vegetables but needed more tomato sauce. With the lack of sauce it was dry. The crust was nice and chewy. Not certain about the Smoky flavor. Was it smoky due to the sauce or crust or? The ambience was loud and noisy. It wasn't a full house but with the high ceilings, concrete floors and not much else there is nothing to absorb the noise. It served the purpose of a fast and easy meal while traveling.

After a long day we just wanted to eat some comfort food in a casual setting. This pizza place was near our hotel so we decided to give it a try.Apparently the name is Italian slang for wild,crazy and fun. It wasn't too crazy or loud inside but as you enter you see all the publications and television shows they have been on..Food Network,Top 100 Pizzerias and best pizza in Louisville.Of course,I had to try one of their pies. They offer Make Your Own or a variety of the Specialty Pizzas. Pizzas come in 8,12,16 inch. I had the 8 inch Tony Supremo with Pepperoni,Smoked Ham,Italian Sausage,Mushrooms,Black Olives and Fresh Tomatoes. I left off the Onions and Green Peppers. Very tasty,thick crust ,good red sauce. The only thing I didn't care for was the sausage..reminded me of a store bought frozen pizza. They also serve salads,sandwiches,calzones and pasta baked. Good selection of beers on tap. For a quick easy meal at affordable prices, try Boom Bozz throughout Kentucky,Indiana and Tennessee.

Food was okay but not worth the price. Service was good. Atmosphere is pretty cool. The pizza the wings and the breadsticks were all pretty good but just was not worth my 80 something dollar bill at the end of it.

The food was fantastic. The meatballs were great. The pizza was great. The ambiance was good. It feels like a chain restaurant. The service was fine. Here's the problem. We stopped in for a late lunch and the place was relatively empty. We got seated right away, drinks right away, and the app we ordered came out soon after we ordered. When we ordered our app we also ordered a pizza. Things were going real well. On the way to a five star review. Unfortunately, we waited for another 42 minutes to get our pizza. Our server came to check on us a few times, we said we were fine, asked for some refills. By the third time I think she knew we were frustrated. "You still haven't gotten your pizza?" She went to check. According to her, the cooks were new. They out the wrong thing on the pizza, it had to be remade. She finally brought our pizza out. Not much fanfare after that. Not sure what the actual reason was, but it took too long to get our pizza. If I'm ever in the area again I might give it another try but it was frustrating.

The pizza and beer pairings are incredible and the service is great with a little room for improvement on speed but overall a great time no matter if you're there by yourself or with a huge group. Live music was the cherry on top!

Freddie was amazing. She took our order fast. And brought out drinks even faster. She had the games on before 7pm. She is awesome! Will be back!

Food is good, service is terrible. After finally returning to our table, the waitress took wrong appetizer off our table & literally put it on the table next to us. Those people are the food my family had touched & sneezed on! So we tried a pick up order. It was completely wrong!
