Bombshells Burgers & BBQ

Great food ! Great service ! Very understanding and friendly ! Prices are about the norm for today which is crazy if you ask me but it's great all around !

In Huntington overnight for a flight to Florida in the morning. Bombshells looked interesting and had good reviews. I must admit when we first saw the place we thought it might be a strip joint. But we were pleasantly surprised inside. Very patriotic themes, great for an old Marine Grunt.We were there for an early dinner so not real busy but more people came after we sat. Ashley, our terrific server, brought menus and we looked over the great selections. My wife asked for a suggestion, as she frequently does, and was told the Bombshell Salad with Grilled Chicken was the "bomb", so she ordered it. I decided on the Ribs and Shrimp Basket after spotting that on another table.While we waited I walked around and took pictures and wandered into the next door area which turned out to be a gaming room and late night bar. I admit I only glanced in, not wanting to see any "Bombshells."Shortly our food came. Her Salad was fantastic! Ashley really suggested the perfect dish for her. The chicken was grilled perfectly and Salad was chilly and crisp. My Ribs were fall-off-the-bone tender and delicious, with a little heat thanks to hot sauce on the side. The Fried Shrimp was very good, just a bit more batter than I like.All in all, service was great, food was very good, ambiance was quiet and interesting, and food was very good. Check it out!

This place was great. Really good service and food was good with plenty to eat. I believe that they have the best Cole slaw I've ever had. Highly recommend it.

We walked in and thought the place looked good. Pictures on the walls all looked like an Americana theme.... Later after looking at it, it looks like they just went to "At Home" and bought a few pictures and stuck them on the wall. Waited at the front "desk" for 10 min for someone to notice we were there. The waitress that sat us was cheery but no inkling of service. No mention of specials, drinks, who our server was.... Sat another 5 min before the poor waitress came to the table. This must have been her second table ever. My girlfriend ordered water no ice and Rum & diet. They brought her a shot of rum with ice and water with ice. No Diet Coke. They then brought her a Diet Coke with rum and told her just to keep the shot.?Clueless on the menu. Couldn't answer questions. We finally just ordered the nachos and sampler with brisket. 10 min later she came by to tell us they were out of brisket. ??? Ok. The nachos came out and they were good. The sampler came out..... dry yesterday's sausage, the driest cardboard bbq ever and ribs that were mostly gristle. We enjoyed the sauces. The corn was fried but no breading or batter. Just a lazy way of heating corn. It was horrible. We didn't eat it. My girlfriend ordered sweet potato fries and the never came. Luckily they weren't in the bill either.We won't be back.

Stopped by for some lunch since we've been wanting some BBQ. Ambience was nice, not very crowded. Service was great! Food came out quickly and we even ventured next door and looked at some of the stuff for sale there. As for the food...We ordered the pickle fries and they were amazing.I ordered a bowl of pulled pork and it came out with a small cup of Cole slaw, I had to taste it since i wanted to make sure that's what it was. It was grounded up and I've never had it like that but it was tasty. I received a "quarter" piece of a waffle that turned out to be cornbread. It was ok but I was confused at first. The pulled pork tasted ok but was very dry. I ended up taking most of my pulled pork to go so I could try and eat it later but it ended up in the trash. As for my husband he ordered half a slab of ribs, most reviews stated they were fallOf the bone and either today was an off day or that statement is just not true. He had to cut in to them to separate them and they were pretty tough. He didn't even eat half of what was served. He said flavor was great but they were tough. The membrane was not removed so that didn't help matters either but I've never had ribs that were so hard to separate. The tea was really good.Gave 3 stars for service and ambience.

We visited on Veterans Day with my husband and 98 year old father both veterans. Dad got the pizza that was pretty good my husband and I both got All American burgers that were so good. The burger was cooked well and everything was well presented and seasoned. Our server was nice, grateful for the service of my loved ones, and as efficient as one can be when a business is slammed with free meals. We will happily return

I was seated as soon as I walked in and after ordering the Blackened Cajun Burger with Mac & Cheesewith a soda, I did not have to wait long at all for it. The Mac was very hot and good. The burger was amazing. I will return.

We were there for an hour before we got our food. (They were not that busy.) We were charged extra for a side item (we thought the meal included 1 side). Then the order was wrong. We asked for plain brisket and it had done kind of cheese on it. We won't be back.

This place is a hidden jewel! A must visit for traveling vets. Recommend the pickle pizza with bombshell salad.

I ordered food for takeout and I was not at all impressed with the food. It was just mediocre at best, and the portions were not very large for the overpriced items that I received. Ordering online does not allow you to know what you are getting for your money, there is no description of the items , just some catchy , cute name for the item and it does not explain or go into detail about the portion size for anything . All in all it was very disappointing meal and I would not recommend this place to anyone. Be smart and go to Burger King , they have very good hamburgers.
