Boba Tea Time

I recognize I am biased, as I remember when this place first opened. I just love it here.The boba is so yummy, with many different variations. The tapioca isn't as great as other places, but that doesn't change my opinion on their variety.The owners are so nice, and they do try to remember regulars.Soft spot, but one I always recommend.

So this is my disclaimer, I am from Southern California specifically San Diego therefore I have a lot of exposure to many kinds of boba establishments. I am going to be kind as much as possible only because I know that Cincinnati does not have fair establishments to compare.Anywho my second day relocating to Cincinnati I was craving for some boba and I had boba time bookmarked. Very small and quaint independent boba shop in downtown Milford. I can tell that the owner is from Thailand so I was hoping it'd be pretty good. I ordered their matcha milk tea with medium sugar and I would have to say it tasted okay.The matcha flavor wasn't as strong and the boba itself tasted very bland and the texture could happen better. Overall this part is okay.

So glad Milford has a brand new boba shop downtown! Boba Tea fills the space in "Old Milford" perfectly, complimenting the many up and coming trendy shops and restaurants nearby. Options are plentiful, including tapioca pearls or popping boba. If you're unsure which you'd like in your drink, I'd highly recommend researching ahead of time. When in doubt, go for the tapioca (chewy, sweet). Brown sugar milk tea was a bit on the sweet end for me. I'd like to tone it down just a bit. If you have a big sweet tooth, it's right up your alley! Next time I'm looking forward to trying a regular milk tea. I love that there's other options that your kiddo may enjoy. Yogurt smoothie, fruit tea and Italian soda. Regular coffee and hot teas are also available.

The woman working here goes out of her way to give you as little product as possible. Ordered a smoothie boba first time and it was sooo thin. Second time I told her please make it thick and she said it will be an extra $1.50. Third time I ordered a regular lemonade boba and it was all ice and almost no drink What a joke. I'm never coming back and you shouldn't come either.

This Boba Tea shop is amazing! I am new to the area and have found my new go-to spot for boba tea. I've had both the Thai milk tea with regular boba and the Taro Milk tea with blueberry boba. Both are absolutely delicious! The drinks had really good flavor and were the perfect amount of sweetness for me. (I like it on the sweeter side). The staff has been consistently friendly and attentive on both of my visits, and has made good recommendations for drinks/boba! This shop is so cute and fits the area perfectly. I cannot wait to bring my friends from Dayton here!

Tea was great.. but way too much ice for a 7$ drink. The boba itself was gross. It was almost crunchy ? Far from regular boba texture.

The owner didn't bother saying anything to us when we walked in the door or when we ordered. She was very unfriendly. The tea was sub par. It appeared the tea was instant (a powder) and not actually brewed which was very evident from the taste. The ambiance of the place (it feels like you're in a messy basement with lots of clutter) combined with the sub par product and lack luster customer service means we will not be back.
