Great people. Nice place. Good selection. Before covid they had 12 taps and you can get a growler or have a pint there.

These guys are awesome! (Nick and Ben) Very friendly and knowledgeable about good tasting whiskey. They had my JD Single Barrel (Barrel Proof) and had a few other great recommendations as well!

Interesting story. I was just kicked out of the store for replying to the little clerk's "Anything I can help you with" question wrong. I replied with a smile, "Just on the hunt for any hard to find bourbons." Tiny Clerk replies angrily, "YOU MUST NOT BE A REGULAR. We save those bottles for them." I told him I stopped in from time to time and have dealt with him before. (My work brings me to this part of town once or twice a month and I have bought maybe four heavily marked up bottles here in the past. Not a lot I know but a past customer nonetheless). Anyway, he says he doesn't remember me so he doesn't have any bottles for me. I said that's fine. Then stewed for a minute due to his aggressive attitude then calmly asked him where the nice lady was that usually works here because she treats the customers with respect unlike him. He then shouted for me to leave. I said the names of the two bottles I bought last there from her (Old Ripy and Bond & Lillard). And also repeatedly asked why he is so angry. Infuriated, he threatens to call the police if I don't leave. I acquiesced and said I was leaving. He then hostilely shouts as he steps out from behind the counter, that I never buy anything when I stop there so don't come back. "Aha! You DO remember me!" Door shuts behind me. Poor little store clerk must have been having a rough day. In past conversations with the little fella he was not very knowledgeable about bourbon either. Prediction. Out of business within the year.

Decent selection but ridiculously expensive. I've gone back several times as I like to support the independent business folks. Have spent over $1000 with them in the past year. My purchase tonight really stung. Saw a Smooth Ambler Big Level and hadn't tried it before so I picked it up. With my Toyota discount it was $96+. When I got home told a friend who let me know that I had way over-paid for it. Checked Total Wine, $56.99 before tax. I realize that Georgetown has a high tax rate on liquor but this is, IMO, an excessive markup. Kroger is consistently 20% less expensive, even with the Georgetown tax rate. On another note, all employees have been great each time I've been in.

Rather disappointed. I like to browse when I go to a liquor store, especially a new one. The gentleman who was working felt the need to follow me and peer around the isle ends like I was a shoplifter. I was also disappointed to find out that they were substantially higher priced compared to the Kroger Liquor store on the south side of town. I will start driving the extra distance and get treated better and get a cheaper price.
