With about 90 minutes to spare, we looked for a family owned/not-a-big-box restaurant... and found an absolute GEM. The atmosphere is cozy and friendly. Wonderful feeling here. The food was excellent, served so quickly and was a great value. HIGHLY recommended!

Bite...worth the hype? Or just a neighborhood favorite? After someone recommended Bite to me, I finally stopped in. From the beginning, it was slightly off vibes. Did they know I wasn't from there? Did they just not like me for no good reason? IDKSat outside, it was a nice day for it, but beware they do nothing to deter bees, in case you are allergic. They need to up their outdoor ambiance, either with brick pavers or stamped concrete. The gravel-like area for outdoor seating causes a lot of dust, so if you are sensitive, sit inside...or don't come here.Food: much better quality than chain stores, but overall, not enough food for the price. The salad needs to have twice the amount of basically every vegetable, I was still hungry. The fish had good seasoning, but too much salt. The pumpkin apple cider vinaigrette was quite good! Ordered the GF Carrot Cake...$11?! That is practically the price of their lunch special! The frosting tasted like straight up cream cheese, not nearly enough sweetness. Also needed more spice.Service: also lacking. Though the waitress was friendly (which can be rare nowadays) she failed big time on my meal. A completely different salad with a completely different protein was delivered to my table by someone else, I was so confused, thinking it was for a different customer! After we realized (or so I thought) what happened, the correct salad was delivered, with the wrong protein. Though the waitress apologized for not writing it down, the protein was still wrong (I didn't have the heart to tell her that) and there was no compensation given for the mistake. For the price, I'd rather eat at Nordstrom Bistro, or The Wildflower Cafe. And if you want carrot cake, go to Cozy's Cafe.

First time here. We enjoyed it and it feels like your eating in someone's home. It's BYOB, but they have glasses if you need them.Make sure you make a reservation!

Bite was recommended to me by a teacher I worked with at a nearby school. Since my first visit, I've been back more times than I can count. A highlight is their daily specials. My personal favorite is their Chicken Divan. It's served over rice and with a tasty cream sauce. I also truly enjoy their blackened "catch of the day" features. Another highlight that I love is the bread that comes with the entree. It's slathered with butter and pairs well with each meal. I'd also be sure to save room for one of their many desserts - especially any one of their cakes. If you haven't tried this restaurant out, I'd move it to the top of your list!

we walked in right when they opened at 11 and were immediately sat for a table of 7. we started with the bite flight which is one of our favorites for when we have more than 4 people. i got the pickled goat salad with chicken and it was super tasty and served with balsamic vinaigrette. would rank 8.7/10. my husband got the cuban sandwich and it was crispy outside and so much flavor. would rank 10/10. some other people in our group got the greek sandwich and tomato basil pesto soup. the soup they said was amazing but the sandwich lacked flavor. soup is 9.2/10. greek sandwich was 7/10.

Bite is awesome. It has a very homey vibe and has great food selection with many unique options. I visited with a party of seven and everyone enjoyed their food, which ranged from salads to Reubens to pasta to salmon. We ordered carrot cake, house made donuts, toffee bread pudding, and ice cream for dessert. It is well worth one, it many, visits. Two suggestions. 1. Get a reservation and the dining room is not super.large. 2. Don't forget to BYOB. They can provide wine glasses and an opener but the wine or liquor is your responsibility to bring.

Very disappointing. Leaving my experience out of it. People in the local community fb group complain often of bad food and bad service and for some reason the post keep getting deleted. I don't like when a restaurant blocks opinions rather than addressing them. When the entire place is empty and you ask if someone had a reservation because you don't want to stop chit chatting you deserve to be fired because you're losing the owner and the business money.

We came here for dinner, and while it's a cute local establishment, the food didn't live up to my expectations. We started with their onion rings - well cooked onion and good flavor to the breading, but overly greasy. For my entree, I love a good BBQ shrimp and grits but found Bite's to be just okay. The grits were good, but the shrimp and the BBQ sauce were both bland and the shrimp a bit overcooked. The side of blue cheese coleslaw was tasty though, with a lot of blue cheese flavor. For desert, their bourbon apple bread pudding was enjoyable but unremarkable - not something I'd order again. We sat inside, and on the Saturday night we were here, the restaurant was noticeably loud inside. Not a problem for us, but not a place I'd go with hard of hearing family members.
