This is the restaurant located inside the Hilton Cincinnati airport. Looked recently renovated and the atmosphere was nice. I had a few snacks at the executive lounge previously, and being that it was pouring rain outside I just decided to get some more food here. Since I wasn't too hungry, I ordered the bistro fish tacos. The restaurant was relatively empty, but it still took a really long time to get my food. The tortillas were totally cold and uncooked. They kept breaking apart on the bottom as I tried to eat them. The filling only had tiny pieces of a mystery white fish in it, which the server said was cod. The veggies were fine but the sauce was quite spicy, no warning of such on the menu. Go elsewhere

So this restaurant is simply in the Hilton Cincinnati airport. This property is getting close to being renovated, it needs it. Due to the renovation the bartender stated that they changed distributors for alcohol, the bartender was not even able to pour a rum and Coke because the current distributor had no rum that they could purchase. He had to pour a Captain and Coke for one of the patrons, this is pretty sad. I did order a Cobb salad, the salad was fresh and full of extras like chicken, avocado, and all the rest of the stuff you expect in a Cobb salad. The cost was good and it was everything you expected and more. I stayed at this hotel for two nights. I ate at the hotel both evenings. I also had breakfast both days. The food was good considering it was a hotel, the staff at breakfast was extremely good and the chef came out a number of times to make sure that I was happy with my meal. My only issue is that the person next to me was able to order eggs the way that they one of them, this was never explained that this was part of the breakfast buffet. I have already gone up and gotten my breakfast for the second day and then the server said oh yes you can order eggs anyway you'd like them including eggs Benedict. Overall this hotel definitely needs to be renovated, the room is small dingy and needed a serious upgrade to be part of the Hilton properties. I'm sure once his hotel is redone it will be great. I did find out however this hotel is not owned by the Hilton brand it is simply a franchise.

I've eaten here a number of times. The place does have some interesting "issues" that I will get to later but I did want to point out that people who rate a restaurant like this one based upon having eaten nothing there other than breakfast really need to stop doing stupid things like that. Yes - they serve breakfast probably because they have to as this is the restaurant at the Hilton and they need to supply something for guests. That said - fine - I probably wouldn't eat breakfast there either. OK, that said, the bar menu is standard bar-fare with brick-oven pizzas and burgers and the usual appetizers - if you're looking for bar-snacks a bit more creative ask for the dinner menu and order up black and blue sea-scallops, or short-rib wontons or shrimp cocktail etc - more up-scale options at reasonable prices. The dinner menu itself is surprisingly good with more than reasonable prices IMHO. I've had a number of items and all were quite acceptable to good. The steaks have always struck me as well-prepared and tasty. The bar area itself is kinda sweet. The bartenders I've had were also very friendly and although this is not a rocking place it is a good place to have a couple of cocktails, particularly if you are wanting to relax or talk. Now the "issues".... I probably would have given this place a 4-star rating. For Florence this place is as close to an upscale menu as you'll find anywhere outside of Miyoshi's Japanese menu. This town is not a hot-bed of cuisine (I mean seriously - as I write this review, Red Robin is ranked #4.... Red Robin... SMH). I am, instead, giving it 5 stars with the hope that people will finally figure out that the place exists and will give it a shot and to counter-balance 3 star reviews from people who only ate breakfasts there. The biggest problem I see with the place is that hardly anyone even knows it exists. I've lived in Florence for 10 years and when I mention this place to ANYONE they look at me like I'm insane and have never heard of it. It is inside the Hilton. It has no real advertising - you'd have to almost stumble upon it by accident or hear about it via word of mouth. Why? I suspect that Hilton is not necessarily all that interested in becoming a locally-packed restaurant. It exists primarily to service their guests I suspect and whether it is intentional or not I do not know but they do not seem to be concerned about it as the crowds have never been very large for the 5+ years I have eaten there. Food is still good but unless they have some sort of group staying there you will rarely see more than a few tables full at dinner. My final minor concern is the food itself - although there is nothing wrong with anything I've ever eaten there (their salads btw are really good) it just seems to lack that special something that says "wow - the chef really worked to make this sauce special" or "damn this is a unique flavor".... it is I suppose... safe. Which is why I'm amazed it isn't packed with people from Northern KY many of whom refuse to cross the river to eat, find Red Lobster and Olive Garden to be "fine dining" and just love em some plain food with safe sauces.... don't get me wrong, the food here is clearly a notch above said chains but still not up to the level of other up-scale places in Cincy. So I'd say - give it a try.... if you don't want to risk dropping $20-$30 on a dinner you may not like, try hitting the bar, have a drink or two and try something either off the bar menu or as suggested the appetizer portion of the dinner menu. You may be surprised. If you are going to be staying there from out of town and don't feel like driving the 20-35 minutes to get to a really top-notch place downtown then understand that it is as close to upscale dining as you will get in Florence (unless you like sushi because Florence has some really good sushi due to the Toyota headquarters over in Hebron.... see Miyoshi or Matsuya or Jo An for example).

Try their Dry Rubbed BBQ Shrimp over Jalapeño Cheddar Grits. Compliment this with their Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Ale.

This bar/restaurant is located inside the Hilton, where I was staying on a business trip. The food is average. I had the full continental breakfast here three times. The bacon was a little flimsy and the eggs were kinda blah. But, the cereal was good! The staff never refilled my damn drinks. Once I was halfway done with my meal before they even brought me my coffee! That made me a very very sad panda. The reason I am giving them 3 stars, though, is because the beer was cheap!

The breakfast buffet here is pretty decent. One of the options is salmon. I'm all about the salmon.

All they have is a bar menu. Food selection is poor at best. The additional star is only for the bourbon selection. The place was not impressive whatsoever.

Had the $30 "Black Angus New York Strip Lion". Thin and overcooked, although it would be hard to nail medium rare on a steak that thin. Mashed potatoes were lukewarm. Service was good. Overpriced but it's a hotel restaurant at an airport hotel so is business travelers don't really care. Can't imagine the restaurant scene here is so bad that someone with transportation would go here.

This restaurant is inside the Hilton - Cincinnati Airport. It has enormous potential but has fallen short. I went there with my mom and sister for breakfast. Their website stated that they had this grand buffet with all sorts of yummy and fancy foods but when we got there it was practically a glorified continental breakfast. Come to find out that you had to specifically ask if you wanted things like omelets, pancakes and waffles. There was no sign with the options or instruction for the other foods and the service was horrible. The restaurant was deserted at 10 am on MOTHERS DAY! We should have taken that as a sign. Anyway, it looked very nice but they need to get their act together.
