Excellent customer service. Prices are less.than what I found on Amazon for the same equipment. I can't recommend them enough. Equipment purchased: 60" riding lawn more, blower, weed eater and chain saw.

Bishops can be a busy and somewhat laid back. some prices are cheaper and some things not cheaper then other places. I had a mower deck worked on and welded the 1st time i went there and no problems. the 2nd time they repaired my self propelled walk behind mower it seemed to be a ok, i got it home found the belt was a tad bit large and the pulley wouldn't engage for the wheels to move. The cable sleeve was not re tie wrapped to the handle.

We took our grass hopper mower to Bishops Small Engine Repair shop in Richmond Ky and spent 1000.00 on repairs. My husband was so impressed with how friendly they were and family oriented, he just went on and on about them. They kept the mower for quite sometime, because we had them fix quite a few things on it while they had it. So the day finally came when they called for us to come pick it up. We took it home and a few days later we got it out and mowed, we had a friend who came over to help us mow because we have two grasshoppers and we mow a lot of grass. He was on it about 5 minutes and the right rear wheel came off! The wheel they had just worked on. When the wheel came off it damaged the axle shaft, brakes, hub and rotor assembly. We called them and they said bring it back. We took it back for another month and they fixed it. We assumed they'd fix it with no charge since they left the wheel lose and that's what caused all the damage. But no, they charged for all the parts which came to 328.60. They said "oh well, we didn't charge you any labor" BIG DEAL, wow. Guess they thought that was good enough, my husband had said he would buy his next new mower here but not now. Not after this, they let 328.60 knock them out of selling us a new mower or doing any more repairs for us in the future. Not good business!

Bishops is the service center for YTL International and they have delayed a warranty repair. I purchased a chipper/shredder last year and it broke an internal bolt. On 4/8/24 the manufacturer directed me to take it to Bishops for the repair. Bishops has had the chipper since 4/12/24 and as of 6/30/24, I still do not have it back. Communications between myself and the manufacturer has been good but response from Bishops has been very slow and many times ignored. They have tried to blame the manufacturer for the delay in shipping parts, but Bishops never sent the info to them to process the claim. This is not the first story I have heard about this type of behavior from Bishops. I simply want my unit back working so I can use what I purchased in good faith.

We are really pleased with work on our mower by the good service people at Bishop's. It looked like a new mower when we picked it up. I had drained the gas tank but they put in enough gas not just to test the mower but enough to mow our yard when we got home and it started on the first pull! Super customer service from start to finish and at a very fair price. This is the go-to place for service and new equipment. They are doing something special at Bishop's.

Reference the negative review 10 August 2018. Returned the mower to Bishop's and they made good on the oil leak repair by not charging additional labor for subject repair. They ordered the new part and installed same the next day. I do appreciate the timely response time. Their responsiveness earned my loyalty and will return mower for future maintenance/repair.

do not buy anything from this place!!!! i purchased a cub new from them the deck fell and broke the blade. so i bought a new blade and it did the same thing. they picked it up brought it back to me and said i need to mow it on 5. then why would cub cadet put 1-2-3-4 on it then? plus charged me 140.00+ for nothing. when you buy a new one don't go to them. i see why their lot is always empty. i will be speaking with cub cadet. people like that are are friendly until you give them your money. maybe morals were not instilled in this hometown business...
