If you happen to be in Pikeville, or simply passing thru, do not pass up this lil BBQ joint. Not a fan of brisket? No problem.. neither was I until I gave this a try! The perfect beef brisket is prepared here by the owner himself. Perfectly moist with the best sauce! We have become regulars here so we have tried most everything on the menu (we don't eat pork so a lot of the sides are off limits) but the sweet potato casserole is to die for, the Mac n cheese is great and he most recently has started preparing fresh kale salads with Parmesan, and sun dried tomatoes - total yum . Seriously, nice easy access location off 23- pull in, you won't regret it!

Excellent quality of food. The smoked chicken breast is fantastic. Haven't tried the burgers but heard he doesn't invest in toppings for them so that's my only holdback on them. Overall it's a great place for BBQ and at a really good price!

I sometimes travel to Pikeville for work and have visited this place twice. Both times the food was exceptional. The owner takes your order at the counter and happily makes suggestions if you're unsure what to get. Will be back in the future.

Best bbq in eastern Kentucky Brisket is amazing and served correctly. Smoked chicken is awesome

Food was good. However, the owner,who also serves everyone, is as rude as he can possibly be to every customer. Always has filthy innuendos on his sign, will make fun of anyone, even a child with Down syndrome. Will never go here again.

If the taste of the food was the only thing that mattered, i would rate 5 stars, but the prices are outrageous, the staff is rude, they have very little variety of choices, and sanitation is not their #1 priority, or even in the top 5 of their list. not to mention, there was only one person working, and the wait time was a bit of an issue.

Best barbecue in Pikeville. A little pricey but it's worth the price. A small dining room but I always get it to go anyway. Cannot go wrong with any of the meats.

Absolutely the best barbecue I've ever had. Great food. The ribs, brisket, pulled pork and sides are all worth a trip. Don't sleep on his Bacon Cheeseburger and catfish dinners. It is ALL amazing. Check them out
