Best Western Louisville South / Shepherdsville

You get what you pay for! This is a decent mid-to-low market budget hotel. Pool was closed (seasonal I suspect as my stay was mid-September. Small gym. Breakfast was a joke, all 4 mornings I stopped to look and left empty handed an hungry.Elevator was actively being painted when I got in it after check-in. Walls were wet for the rest of the day and no sign was posted to warn people but the paint fumes were a good indicator. Probably would have been better to paint it over night. Room was 'good enough'. A/C worked great. Mini fridge and microwave was nice as was the coffee maker. Bathtub was super small, short and shallow. Overall it serves its purpose, and was priced right for what was offered. Free parking was nice. Won't stay again if I get a choice though.

I found this hotel on a last minute unscheduled trip to Louisville. Hotel is clean, room was nice, and breakfast was decent.The initial greeting was not the greatest, but we did get in at 10:30 PM.

This was our second hotel stay. This hotel also had the fridge and microwave in the room, I love it. The complimentary breakfast was great. Friendly staff, clean room. We had a jacuzzi suite, my husband was in the jacuzzi, but the jets started making a weird noise, so he turned them off. Overall, it was still a great room for a great price.

I'm sad to say after staying and working here, I've learned a lot of things I'm not happy with. The hotel is very clean and the breakfast is on point. The problem is the dangerous people that are being aloud to stay there. I've made it clear that I was scared and uncomfortable to come to work because of the friends my boss was letting stay there. ( there on hard drugs) I've asked for help talking to HR and I'm not getting any response. From my medical history being told to guest and more. It's sad because it is a nice clean and together hotel in some ways. Just needs some adjusting with the staff.

There was drinks and left overs in the fridge. after repeated requests to clean it up they did nothing about it. It brings questions if the place was actually cleaned before our arrival. No Shower liner as well. Also, during the day of checkout we had "room cleaning" at 8:30 in the morning.
