Benson Marina Boat Dock

Stopped in for casual dinner on a Friday night. Plenty of seating with patio tables and umbrellas as well as awning covering. Everyone raves about their burgers but we tried the fish sandwich and chicken sandwich as recommended by our server. Vast beer selection. Our server was top notch. Everything was reasonably priced. Bathroom was very clean for a restroom at a marina. Check their Facebook page for music events.

You have to be looking for this place when in Frankfort, Kentucky on the Kentucky River. No seeing it from the main road, but worth the trip. Outdoor seating and dog friendly. We had the cheese burger, double cheeseburger, seasoned fries and houseboat salad. Service was excellent and the food very good. Fries were seasoned perfectly and the burgers were great. We will be trying the fish the next trip. Really enjoyed sitting on the water around the boats docked at the marina.

Great little dive bar and the burgers were amazing. Friendly staff, sets right on the river. Looks a little sketchy when you first roll up, but glad I went on in. Perfect little hidden gem. Great atmosphere, great drink selections and awesome food. I highly recommend the burgers!!

Dockside restaurant and bar with an old-school flattop grill, cheap beers, music blaring and a view of the water? Yes, please!Came here during a recent trip down the Kentucky Bourbon Trail and the crew was jonesing for a good ol' sloppy burger to help sop up some of the brown elixir we'd been consuming. Everyone orders burgers, some ordered tots and some ordered onion rings and we sat back to wait for the magic to happen.These were some near perfectly flattop char-grilled burgers, mine with grilled onions, pickle chips and American cheese...my wife's was a standard bacon cheeseburger. Onion rings were super crispy and thin, tots were very salty but perfectly crisp.Now fully in food coma mode, we made our way to the distillery for our next adventure!

Nice place for lunch! Outdoor deck area. Indoor bar area. Boat deck. Grilled salad is worth the wait! Good food!

Went here on our way through frankfort. Not open. Wish people would adjust their hours online.

Got to stop by on a beautiful fall November day right before they closed for the season. Glad I got a chance to stop by.We came for the burgers. I tried the cheeseburger and the rest of the family went with the specialty burgers. If I have a recommendation, it would be to season the meat just a little more. They're good, but it seems like the rest of the sandwich has to try harder to lift up that semi-bland ground beef. It comes close to pulling it off, as they're so messy my son had to eat his burger standing up. And I mean that in a good way. They add on the extras. But man, just season that meat a tad more and you are going to be epic. I'd recommend the fries and mozzarella sticks. Both came out hot and ready. The service is pretty good also. Very nice people. Great place to sit out and eat on a nice day. I'd definitely go back. I just want them to tweak those seasonings a little on that beef and this could be a destination.

This is what you call a hidden gem close to Frankfort. My wife got a cheeseburger with cheese fries. While I choose the poppers to start off. Then I went with the Benson Burger with bacon dressed. I had to go with the Onion rings. It wasn't bad everything reminded us of bowling alley food (not a bad thing). This is not a military friendly location
