Bellissimo

My son found this resraurant and loves it. We chose it for his Birthday dinner. The atmosphere was friendly, inviting and very clean ! The staff and owner were friendly and accommodating. Gave all 7 of us great recommendations and attentive service.i had the Caprese appetizer...as well as the table shared a platter of Aushak. My entree was Banjan Borani. Everything was fresh prepared and tasted wonderful! I have never trued Afghan cuisine and I will go back! It is a great addition to my list of wonderful places! And the pricing was great for the amount of food we had as there was 6 adults and it was under $140 with a generous tip! Oh and the cannoli were so good!

I had the meatball sub and it was amazing! Delicious and so flavorful. Will definitely look for them when I'm out! Highly recommend!

Bellissimo is a humble little food truck with stable Italian food. They tour East Side apartment communities often, and you can see their schedule from their social media! I was a little underwhelmed by their menu, and had the Chicken Alfredo. I think they used the same scoop so it tasted a little spicy. Regardless, the food was delicious but the portion was a little small. I don't eat much, but I didn't feel full after. You can see from the picture, for $8, it didn't get you much food. Their bread was delicious tho. I would probably order again if they come back!

I recently had the opportunity to try Bellissimo when their food truck visited my apartment complex. I was expecting our food to be good, but was honestly blown away by how great it was! All of the meals are affordably priced and come with a lot of food. I ordered the penne Alfredo with chicken, and my husband ordered the meatball sub. The Alfredo was super creamy and cheesy, and the sub roll for the sub was such good quality. It held up really well with all of the sauce on it. Both of our meals were delicious, but I think I enjoyed the sub just a bit more! We also ordered the cannolis to have for dessert, and they were perfect. They reminded me of cannolis I get at a small Italian bakery when I'm visiting family in New Jersey. The Bellissimo food truck is going to be in our area again in a few weeks, and we are already planning on having that for dinner when they're here!

One of my favorite Louisville Food Trucks!The food is delicious and the servings are generous - actually large enough for two meals. The mustard chicken is not to be missed.Watch for this food truck wherever you go!

I loved coming to this place. The atmosphere is nice and cozy with staff that is extremely friendly. The food was so tasty. I got the Mantu and it was so delicious! I highly recommend trying this place out!

Was in the area and heard Bellissimo had great Italian Food, but instead we tried the Afghan dishes.We were glad we did.The Matuu dumpling were fantastic. Very flavorful and stuffed with minced beef and spices. Had a little kick to them but really good . Reminded us of pot stickers. We also had the Baja Borani which was a sautéed eggplant. Very tasty dish and was served with flat bread.We had Bolzano stuffed flat bread filled with potatoes and was served with a green mint dipping sauce that was very flavorful.We would defiantly go back just for the Afghan dishes. We spoke with the owner and she said that all the Italian pasta is made in-house. Her husband worked at Vincenzo's for 15 years.This is a family ran restaurant. Very clean inside and very good service. Portions are large and they were accommodating so we could share the dishes. A must try place.

Great food! This was a tasty, quick, and easy dinner. I enjoy the fact that their menu is compact but every option, at least from what I've had so far, is extremely well done. Nothing's worse than when restaurants have overly inflated menus where 80% of the dishes are subpar. Here, you're pretty much guaranteed to get a tasty meal, with great service, and for an affordable price.
