Bearno's Pizza

I love their pizza. Especially the Mama Bearno's Lite. (A regular Mama Bearno's with less toppings.)One of the things about Bearno's is that they add a TON of toppings. Actually too much for me. I prefer whatever I get to be light style. I also always order a side or two of pizza sauce, as sometimes they cook the pizza pretty dark and it loses some of the sauce while cooking. I don't order extra sauce on the pizza as you will get a ton of sauce and that could end up being too much. I've ordered other items from Bearno's but the pizza is where it's at. I would be sad if they ever closed down. This is a locally owned joint with all the good and bad that entails. I enjoy ordering local rather than the bland boring Papa John's or Pizza Hut.

Best pizza in Louisville. Maybe not yours yet it's the Mama Bearno's that wins the mouth watering pizza award.

Bearno's is probably my favorite local pizza place. The pizza is so good I can eat it cold. The room is quite frankly nothing particularly impressive, but it gets the job done. This place isn't about ambience. This is a place you go to for great pizza, and they've got that. The price point is a little on the high side, but it's worth it.

We've stopped here twice for a pizza and were always happy with our purchase. However, this time the pizza was subpar. We ordered our favorite, a jalepeno cheese pizza. When we got home and were ready to eat and enjoy we found the pizza was not only overcooked put was over covered with the peppers. Almost every inch was covered and the peppers were extremely hot which made it almost unbearable to eat. We were too far away or we would have taken it back. Not sure we will go back here again.

This is my favorite pizza place in Louisville. I can eat it all the time I'm going to get the sausage and peppers and they have great she's at flat crust Cecilian style Pizza in Bearno's is just great I could eat it every week definitely go and get it if you've not had it

After a long week of eating in, I decided to order a pizza tonight. I'm really not much for pizza in the last 10 years but when I do wanna pizza it's got to be a Bearnos. The Bearnos mama light is a great pizza with pepperoni, sausage, green olives, black olives, mushrooms, just the right amount of sauce and a lot of cheese always fits the bill. It's their mama Bearnos special pizza but with a little bit less of each topping, Cooked to perfection. I also got a slice of derby pie and was not disappointed with its chocolatey goodness. My order tonight was delivered 30 minutes before promised in a great amount of time and the driver was good looking too LOL #hubbahubba

I really like Bearno's if the location is a good one. I love their crust, which is not too thin or too thick. I also really enjoy their sauce and sausage. All of the Bearno's on my side of the river leave much to be desired, and I hardly ever go to any locations in Indiana anymore. This Louisville location is a good one. I hadn't been here in quite a few years, until recently. It's not too far from work, and my last recollection of being here years ago was with co-workers. On this last visit, I came for the lunch buffet. I love a good pizza buffet, so long as it's clean and well attended to. This one was. It's set up in the back room. It was quite busy when I was there, and the guy stocking the buffet did a great job. They have a salad bar, several types of pizzas, pasta, Buffalo wings, and a dessert pizza. I didn't have any of the pasta or wings, just pizza and a salad. All were good. The restaurant is older and simple, which is fine by me, as I didn't come to look at the walls. It was clean though. My server was great and worked hard, as I think all of the tables were hers that day. They have Coke products, which is an automatic star from me. They also have a lunch buffet rewards program, where you can earn a free buffet. It was a quick and pleasant meal, and I will most likely return.

Good little pizza place with a buffet. Had very good pizza and the wings on the buffet were pretty good. Had a nice salad as well. One of the only Bearnos to bring back a buffet, thats a plus for me as i like to try different items. The lady who i think was the owner was super friendly and very helpful.

If you're from Buffalo or Rochester, NY and looking for good pizza... KEEP LOOKING. Tried this from a recommendation... and... it's terrible. It's not even house-made dough... rather flour textured cardboard. And I am flabbergasted at what they're charging for this glorified frozen pizza. Dont waste your money like we did!

This rating is not because of food quality. It has everything to do with accuracy. Having spent the week with COVID in the household we just got enough of an appetite back to eat something substantial so I ordered a couple of hot ham and cheese sandwiches. Pretty quick delivery. One sandwich had some different item deletions than mine yet opening the food I find they are exactly the same. Had this been a first or even a second time it would be no big deal. Unfortunately it seems to be the rule now rather than the exception. The receipt showed the right items but the person who prepared them apparently either didn't read it or someone just didn't care. Judging the track record of my last 4 or 5 orders I am given to believe it's the latter. Far too many pizza places with quality out here so I will start using them.
