Kind of a sleepy locals place. Good draught selection the bar tender was attentive and the folks at the bar were friendly to "the new guy". Pizza was pretty good. I had a pie at a different location across the river and it wasn't as good.

Quick service in the bar, seems to be a locals restaurant. Plenty of people hanging out mid week and they have bar specials daily.French fries were hot and very tasty, very good.Lasagna was okay. but nothing exciting and borderline blah.Pizza sub was tasty and perfect as is, no changes needed. The restaurant side was empty. There is outside seating that allows smoking. Not a fan so the inside bar worked.

Louisville people: Stay AWAY from southern Indiana Bearnos!! They SKIMP on the cheese big time!! This red state mentality is to ROB you of good pizza. Even their holier-than-thou square-cut crap they call pizza is void of good cheese. But if you must do pizza in Southern Indiana, do Little Caesars!! You can thank me afterwards. You're welcome in advance.PS - This location is void of particular beer specials, even when having huge banners advertising such. Go figure!!!!

Deserving of the low ratings and reviews for sure. I should've heeded them. I was in the area around lunchtime last week and craving pizza, which is a fairly normal state for me. I hadn't had pizza from this location in maybe ten years. I like Bearno's pizza a lot, so I thought what the heck. I don't recall ever eating inside this location before though. When I first walked in, there was one table of customers in the dining area and a couple of patrons in the bar area. The bar area is completely sealed off with glass from the dining room. It is kind of odd. However, it's a typical pizza joint inside, and is in good shape and very clean. I will give them that.I ordered the lunchtime pizza buffet. Simple and quick was what I was after. As I walked in, I wasn't greeted and had to go to the cashier area and ask if I seated myself. After I sat down, I was waited on and made it to the buffet. I made a salad. The salad bar was well-stocked and had a good amount of selections to make a decent salad. I was happy about that. As I began to eat my salad, my server brought the check to me. Really? I hadn't even got my first slice of pizza. In all of my eating out, I hadn't ever experienced a check that quick before. It just felt wrong, even for this type of buffet dining. After I had my salad, I made it to the pizza. At this point, I had been there about fifteen minutes I guess, and I hadn't seen any new pizzas put on the buffet. Then, I noticed that they didn't look so good. You could tell they had been sitting on the warmers for a while by the way the sauce looked kind of dried up. There is no excuse for this. A table of three just left and the other two patrons in the bar area were men that were making multiple trips to the buffet. These buffet pizzas are always skimped down on toppings and such and not as good as the regular made-to-order pizzas. Thus, they are extremely cheap for them to make. Serving old and dried-up pizzas and saving money or time must be more important to them then satisfying a customer and getting return business. I grabbed a couple of slices and ate one and a cheese stick and was done. It didn't taste very good. They had some pastas and a dessert, but I just didn't want to go on. I thought about asking for one to be made, but I didn't feel like waiting. The buffet still had at least an hour to go and they should make replacement pizzas without a customer having to ask. Besides, the dining area had a TV over my booth and the daytime hen talk was distracting. Listening to them cackle about such pressing world matters as online bullying and fat shaming was enough to seal the deal to leave. I should've sat in the bar and watched golf.Bearno's is a local franchised chain from Louisville. I really like their pizza from the right location. Not all are created equal though. This location was so different from my last visit to a location in Fern Creek, which was great. Day and night difference. I didn't feel that this place cared at all about customer satisfaction. I gave one star for the salad and one for it being clean. I have no plans on ever returning.

We always order in, ingredients are fresh, the crust and sauce are delicious the secret (in my opinion) is to ask, for "well done".Always delicious and service is prompt and friendly.Their Pizza is uniquely Bearno's - Chicago style - but w their own twist.Worth the price!

Doesn't deserve one star! There was no service and no one wanted to seat us. Couldn't get a table or get someone to give us menus to order. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone!! Ever!

Moved to Fl so it was great to get back to a Moma Bearnos and the spicy baked wings. Both were as we remember and did not disappoint.

This Bearno's is GREAT. I come out of my way up to the Knobs for their cauliflower crust pizza. Always ask for "well-done." You negative Nellie reviewers are off base completely. Never had a bad meal or a less than pleasant server. Our fav.

Hire a competent manager. We have had many poor service issues here before but do like the pizza so keep trying. We ordered Pizza here tonight as we have for years - we are a loyalty customer. They we're out of mushrooms which are a staple on the super veggie pizza- we had company and decided to order any way so asked for a substitution - told over the phone any additional ingredients were an extra 2.99 or something like that - I asked to just switch - she said it needed managers approval?.. so I went ahead with the order and would address at the property after driving there to get it. Asked for the manager on arrival and a very young aggressive guy came out of the kitchen and began telling me they never do this, never have done it and he wont for me .. i have been buying pizza at Bearnos longer than this guy has been alive and have always been treated great here - I know the founders and know they understand customer service - this kid had no clue about that.. he was a jerk.. said he was the owners son - someone missed teaching this kid how to treat people who support his family's business.. owner - you lost a lifelong loyal customer over a 2.00 topping, and a crappy attitude. What happened to teaching our kids how to speak to people? He walked away from me without ending the conversation.. I had to call him back out and he asked me if I wanted the pizza or not.. I took it but never again - this restaurant won't last long with such poor customer service - I am a long time member of this small community and will share my experience in other ways as well....
