Bayou Cats Seafood Shack

On a side road, so if I wouldn't have found it in Yelp I would never had know it was there. Plenty of parking all around the restaurant. You order at a window and when your food is ready they call you to pick up your order. Seating is at an outside covered and screened in area. There was also one table completely outside. My wife ordered a shrimp basket with red potatoes and hush puppies. I had catfish with red potatoes, corn, and hush puppies. The shrimp and fish were good. The potatoes and corn flavors were excellent and the cook was perfect. The hush puppies were fair. I would eat here again.

A great new place to Russell County.The Cajun Fries are not too spicy but just right for those who like a little of flavor but not a lot of heat. The Fried Catfish is excellent, flaky and moist and not dried out. If you can;t decide what to get try the seafood sampler. Hope this place does well, and they are a very welcomed addition to Russell County.

Catfish was delicious. Shrimp was very good as well. Look forward to trying different items this summer. Recommend giving it a try.
