Barleycorn’s Brewhouse

First time here. Greeted nicely. Came for brunch. I was solo but made to feel welcome. Glass was never empty. Used brunch plates removed immediately. Brunch items were on smaller warming trays and were replenished regularly, so food was fresh. And a brunch for $15? Are you kidding me? This was a steal.

This is my second review, removed the other one, the first time there we had a very shaky experience, mostly due to our server, I did fall in love with their Saratoga Chips, enough for the hubby and I to give it one more chance. We always pass it on the way home from pickleball at Sawyer Pointe. This time, thanks to an amazing server, Raven, our experience was entirely different. We came in at the tail end of a huge rush and she was great, helped to get tables cleaned up, and was on the spot with everything. I'm not a big beer drinker but tried two and both were worth returning for, along with the very good food and those chips....well the love affair continues! I always believe in second chances so I am happy to report, that there will be many more stops on the way home.

Went to Barleycorn tonight to visit with family. The music and games were fun; house specialty drink was very good; service was okay - server was good though way too busy; BUT, the chips and queso was the absolute worst ever. $10.99 for heavy, thick, nearly inedible *potato* chips with a bowl of mediocre cheese. I can't think of any food I've ever ordered that was as bad. Thankfully I went for family and time spent together was priceless.

I have been to the Brewhouse several times in the last year. They have great beer and a condensed menu from the other Barleycorn's restaurants, but this is a brewery with food. They have a great outdoor area, and plenty of TV's to catch a game. I love this place!!

This is a great spot and cool transformation of a fire house. We sampled most of their beers and were pleasantly surprised how tasty they were. Normally new breweries need some time to get it right. The fries pickles were outstanding, and a generous portion as well. As Barleycorn's is known for, the chicken wings were great as always. We'll definately be back to enjoy that patio!

Didn't eat here. Just had a specialty drink. It was ok. Service was good. Can't speak on much else as we weren't there that long.

What a fun place! I love the decor inside and out. It's bright and clean. The murals outside are cool! I can't wait to go when it gets warmer and eat outside. They have a great variety of beers and cocktails. The Barleycorn beers are fabulous! My fav was the Crazy Norse (Hazy IPA). Try a flight and sample a few. My favorite are the wings. They have Doc style. I don't know why they don't sell all the wings like this. They fry em, sauce em and fry them again. Since this cooks off the spice you can add a sauce on the side. They are crispy and juicy. Also BIG! The blue cheese is delicious, very chunky. We sat at the bar and ate. Our server was also the bartender. She was terrific. She was helpful, kind and fast. She was able to describe the beers well. I overheard her helping others who weren't sure what they wanted. Overall we loved this place and will be back for sure!

Barleycorn's prices have gotten way too high. & food is not good pub grub. Big emphasis on fried stuff. Side salads are $6 vs $1.99 elsewhere. Tickets @ Fords Garage, Texas Roadhouse $10+ less expensive .

Kennedy was our server today, Sunday, May 19, 2024 between 12:50 and 2:45. There were 7 of us and we all agreed she was excellent. She said she was in a contest between herself and another server, so on behalf on my 7 friends, we submit this and hope it gets to the right persons.
