Bandido Taqueria Mexicana

Bandido's offers a casual atmosphere for burritos and tacos, and also a line up of frozen margaritas. My party of 3 had no issue grabbing a table on a Saturday evening and we were able to quickly order at the counter. Our order included queso and chips (this was an odd mix of white queso and the cheap stuff you get with nachos at the ballpark, and I would not recommend it). My birria quesadilla was large and full of meat, which was marinated so much it didn't need the dipping sauce. I asked for no onions but still needed to scrape them off. The Al Pastor taco was my favorite and the one item I would order again.My husband enjoyed his shrimp quesadilla and my son took down his two beef hard tacos and hot Cheetos elote. They also enjoyed the salsa bar. Music was plentiful with a DJ spinning tunes. The crowd was regular but not overwhelming and they have a drive thru as well. This won't be a first choice for me but I would try other items if someone else wanted to go.

Bandido's is an excellent place to eat that I've always enjoyed frequenting. I love their tijuana style street tacos, but this time I got the birria ramen and split the cardinal burrito with a friend.The birria ramen was quite interesting. I liked the meat and the broth, but it didn't quite work for me as ramen. It definitely is a lot better as birria tacos, with the broth being used more as a dipping sauce then a soup base for ramen. The cardinal burrito was massive, well worth it for big eaters like me. It was a good burrito, but the french fries made it feel more like a hamburger wrap than a burrito. While my selection at Bandido's this time was nothing special, I know that their tacos are killer and absolutely recommend them.The staff were nice and friendly, and the place itself was clean and spacious with enough tables and chairs for anyone to sit down and enjoy. This location in particular seems to be more of a takeout location, so my friends and I were able to enjoy the whole place to ourselves.All in all, Bandido's is an excellent place to eat and one of my go-to's for tacos, with a menu that features other interesting dishes as well.

It all starts with great rice and beans. If you cannot get that right, you probably cannot expect much else to be above par or better. I particularly love their breakfast burrito, while not a traditional Mexican fare, it is very tasty. Nice salsa bar that includes carrots, jalapeños and sliced radishes. The place is always clean. Decent horchata. Very good crispy tacos, which are best eaten on property. Good customer service.

My sister and I were in the mood for breakfast burritos (mostly me). With a quick google search, I saw that they serve breakfast here! I didn't love their burritos when I had gone to the location near UofL. Had to give them another try!We build our own burritos. It comes with 2 eggs. I added bacon, jalapeños, beans, and hash browns. My sister also did bacon, but did salsa Fresca, beans, and hash.We didn't wait long for the food and it was still hot when we got home. The hash was good! Very crunchy and well-seasoned. It was very filling! At $10, it's not a bad price. Pricier at other spots I've been to.It was kinda empty in the morning though. Not sure if people know they have breakfast. A few customers did come in and they have a drive thru too.Not a ton of parking in front. But there's more parking around the building.Can't wait to come back!

Came here on a recommendation for lunch. I can't say that I would agree with the rec. Service is not at all friendly. I don't understand these places that deal with the public but choose not to provide excellence!?! How do you plan to stay in business? The tacos I got were the Tijuana style carne asada. They were pretty decent hence the 3 stars. Their salsa bar was not for me. Tried a couple of items and salsas but didn't care for any of them. I don't think I'll return any time soon.

We ordered via Door Dash and it was delivered promptly. More importantly it was super fresh and still warm. Well done! On to the food... I ordered the original elotes and it was ridiculously delicious. Maybe the best elotes I've had locally. The combination of flavors were spot on. I had to get a spoon out and scrape up the leftover "juices" from the container. I'm going to have to give the Takis elotes a try next time.I also got the birria tacos. They were good but needed a little extra to make this review a 5. They sent some dipping sauce which was good but I felt that they could have sauced it up more during the preparation. Like dial it up on the meat more, soak the tortillas... really dial it up. I'm definitely going to eat at Bandito again. Maybe try it at the restaurant vs delivery too.

This Steak and egg burrito never disappoints! It's was $12.05 and very filling. Love the chunks of seasoned potatoes in it.

My best friend and I finally made our way to this location on Goose Creek road, this was our go to spot quite a bit when they were located next to Falls City Brewery on Liberty Street. Believe me when I say we miss it being there but, we were happy to see them thriving in this location that also includes a drive thru. The inside here is very spacious but not a whole lot of indoor seating but, it is spacious and open and they have a few tvs on the walls. They even have more than one register to take orders. We did get to see our favorite person Benny who was at the other location but, we do like everyone there. We both went with California burritos however, my friend got theirs without fries. I tried my hardest to finish mine but I didn't quite get there so, I saved it for later. They never disappoint on the size and portions of the burritos. I'm glad we came out here, we have been meaning to for the longest time. Westport Road area/ Goose Creek is not somewhere we venture to often but we will be back time and again. It was great to see Benny and everyone else. We also look forward to the Shelbyville Road location opening soon.

Everything came out hot. Turf n turf burrito 9/10 surf n turf fries 10/10 chicken quesadillas were very good. Hot cheesy and plenty of chicken.

For Kentucky this shit slaps. Solid tacos, good vibes, good drinks, good time! Servers are kind and chill. Food was quick and yummy.
