Bailey Jaynes Bakery & Cafe

Our first via to Bailey Jayne's was FANTASTIC! Amy greeted us and was friendly and very helpful with making our selections. Her attention and customer service made our experience outstanding. She went above and beyond to ensure our visit and meal was memorable. My husband had the Rueben sandwich and Broccoli Cheddar soup, and I had the Chicken pot pie. Both were very delicious! We had asked someone where we should eat local and while she gave us many options she HIGHLY recommended Bailey Jayne's and we now know why. Our meals were freshly made with great ingredients, served hot and well portioned. ...and then there is the bakery...WOW! My husband tried a cheese danish and I had a glazed croissant (cronut) I have never had a better cheese danish ever, and the cronut melts in your mouth. mmm mmmm goooood! We will absolutely return when in the area!

After returning to Bailey Jayne's in Walton, KY on Main Street, I was pleasantly surprised to see the space has been updated, cleaned, and has easy to see ordering boards for food and bakery cases for displays.The entry way is quite small, and there's not a lot of room to order food or coffeeThere was no visible dirt and debris, outside of the snow and salt mixture from the outside snowy walkwayStaff was friendly and available to answer questions and greet folks The seating area is small, but cozyFamily friendly (bring your own art supplies)Pricing is average Flavors are good (brownies)Due to the limited space to queue up, there was no opportunity to try the food for an updated review, nor was there table space to sit and see the experience of others Parking is difficult and there are no public parking lots Street parking is hard to come by Updated review after renovation to show how dedicated the staff and ownership team has been to bring the area a well rounded experience and cafe. Amazing bakery!!! A large selection to choose from. Definitely stop in for a pastry if you are in the area.

It's been a while since we've been in. The doughnuts are nothing special, in my opinion; you can go to Kroger and get better and cheaper ones. The staff isn't friendly at all; if you aren't a regular, it's kind of like, "get your order and get out." Parking isn't the greatest. The place is very loud when it has more than just a few people in it.

I don't think I've seen a cuter cafe and it's located in the small town of Walton, KY. I highly recommend the drive and experience I believe it's worth it. We went Saturday morning because we like to eat breakfast out on Saturday mornings. Also did I mention that Thomas loves donuts? That quite possibly an understatement. Ha! We ordered coffee for him and an almond milk latte for me. Their coffee is outstanding and no bitter aftertaste. We bought a lbs of coffee to bring home and enjoy. So many different and specialty donuts it was hard to choose. I got the frosted pumpkin spice- delicious! He got an icing topped and jelly filled yeast donut which he loved. We decided to eat in vs getting our meals to go. Thomas had the guetta sandwich on an English muffin with egg and cheese. I got a plain biscuit with jelly and a side of hash browns. Unfortunately, the hash browns were grilled with meat which I could taste so I didn't eat them. The only bad part of our experience. We will definitely return for more coffee and donuts. PS they are a bakery and I'm considering buying a birthday cake for an upcoming surprise birthday party. I will update my review after I experience their birthday cake.

Found this place on the Exit app coming back from Cincinnati. Cute store front, amazing home cooked breakfast and beautiful pastries! Very good for the $$!! Also, forgot to take a pic of my breakfast, but y'all, this cream horn is ridiculous!! Definitely with a stop for a coffee and a pastry!

Let me start with the good. Love the yeast donuts They're amazing especially the tiger tails. The disappointment came when I made a special trip just for the cherry bombs. This item not only lack flavor and size, but it was really dense and heavy. Highly recommend making some changes to the cherry bombs as they are not worth two dollars, definitely need to have a cherry flavor.

Had the Breakfast Plate. Potatoes were perfectly cooked. Amazing breakfast! We found this on Yelp and want a hot sit down breakfast. This exceeded all expectations!! We will be back.

Very cute and quaint bakery. The coffee bar was not as robust as one would think in that type of business. The bakery items were okay but the food was almost inedible (eggs, goetta, hash browns and biscuits and gravy). I left 3/4 of my meal. What a shame.

Grabbed coffee, a couple of breakfast sandwiches and an apple fritter. Food was great and the people were nice.
