Food and service was outstanding. We had the fish and chips, Appalachian Hot Schnitzel Poutine, pretzel and beer fries all delicious. We ordered the the tiramasu cream puff WOW!Service was great and the atmosphere is cool.

This place is amazing !! Me & my husband first went to this place for a date and then it was sooo good I brought my kids the next day for it. Service here was really sweet & attentive. One of our favorites restaurants as well travel through America !!

Absolutely delicious German/american food and great beer selection. We've been twice in our three days in Huntington. I had the weinerschnitzel once and the pimento burger the second time. Great burger, perfectly cooked crunchy pork and crunchy fries. We could be back again we're here all week!!!

Great restaurant. I placed it to go order and the meal was prepared in about 10 minutes. The service was fast and friendly. The ambience of the restaurant is very nice. I ordered the Jager schnitzel with Yukon mashed potatoes. The serving portion is very generous. The Jager schnitzel was very tasty. As was the gravy and the potatoes. Overall great service. Just recommend to provide some flatware for a to go order.

Had a great meal at Bahnhof! It's a really cool venue within walking distance of downtown hotels (Doubletree and Delta). There were tons of beers, but not much a variety (a lot basics + flavored options, but no Dunkelbach). Service was slow, and while the hostess wasn't very friendly, our server was! She did a great job of keeping us updated (we ordered right after a large party came in).The Kentucky Radler (beer cocktail) was not my favorite; the flavors just didn't work and I wish I'd ordered the radler on tap instead.The potato pancake appetizer was AMAZING - very authentic and it was the best I've had outside of Germany.We ordered the schnitzel gravy train, and the jager gravy and peppercorn gravy were both amazing! The schnitzel bread in was great, and the portion was huge (definitely split this), however the pork was tough and I wish we'd subbed chicken.The spaetzel wasn't my favorite, but the gravy and potato pancakes more than made up for it!Great outdoor space - we would come back!

Everything about this place was great. Warm friendly staff, great atmosphere, fantastic food. I tried the Wild Meatloaf and it had to be one of the best I've ever had. Large portion, wonderful flavor; just amazing. All the sides were authentic and fresh. We just discovered it but have decided it's worth a trip in the future.

Such good food and great service. this was the first time we have ever been here and it has a very cool interior. The drinks we both had were great and the food was excellent!

This place is unique and provides a large selection of foods you would struggle to find anywhere else. We had two appetizers, Fried Pickles and German Kartoffelpuffer (potato cakes with apple rotkohl and horseradish sauce). The fried pickles were good and fresh. The sauce that came with them was delicious. The potato cakes were also good. We then shared the Sausage Party (we picked Chicago Kielbasa, Mettwurst, Haus Brat), the Pimento and Pepper Jam Burger, and the Wiener Schnitzel. The Sausage Party was good. The pretzel was hot, fresh, and salty. The trio of sauces, pickled onions, and deviled eggs were okay. We enjoyed the sausages. They all had great flavor and were well cooked. The schnitzel was good, crispy and topped with tasty onions. The burger was my personal favorite. It was juicy, a little spicy, and sweet. The fries were crispy and hot. The only critique is that the burger and fries were a touch over salted. But that would not stop me from getting it again. Lastly, we got two Cream Puffs to go. One was Strawberry and the other was Bavarian Pretzel. If you like cream puffs then you'll enjoy them. The cream is very similar to whipped cream and the dough is airy and thin. They are not super sweet, sugary deserts. Overall the food was good and I would eat here again. The employees were all very nice and attentive. The restaurant itself was clean and visually appealing. We didn't take part in the outdoor seating because of the weather, but I could tell it would be a lovely place to sit. I would recommend this place and would return in the future.

The food at Bahnhof makes me beyond proud to have this local gem right here in Huntington. And so for this reason I was inspired, after several years of no activity, to return to yelp, and give them the credit that is due. My favorite dish lately is the Doner Kebab Duo-(2) Beef and Lamb döners, topped with red pepper sauce, garlic-dill sauce, pickled red cabbage, and diced cucumber, served w/fries. I have it pictured with my review. The meat has been cooked perfectly each time which is a level of consistency I don't expect most to uphold- but way to go y'all. The outdoor seating is gorgeous with string lights overhead and greenery all around. Also has a seating area with a fire pit in the center. Service takes a minute to get stared and admittedly has has some problems of late. However our last waitress was one of the most wonderful servers I've ever had. Please know this likely is something they're trying to fix and be kind to your servers.

Great place to get German food. The sausage, wurst, kielbasa and dogs are all very good. The sides were great and the doner over fries appetizer was worth it too. Nice place inside, quiet and comfortable. And the waitress was really helpful. Would def come back here when in the area.
