Stopped by and grabbed a few slices of cheesecake because the reviews are so good. I wasn't disappointed. The owner/baker made me a fresh cup of iced tea. I'll definitely be back.

Cute little place with so many delicious cheesecakes to choose from. You can get slices, whole cheesecakes or mini cheesecakes (which are gluten free). The flavors change so you'll have to stop in to find out what's there but the owner said vanilla is always in the case. I tried the blackberry streusel slice and a mini lemon saffron cheesecake. Both were super creamy and delicious with a perfect balance of fruit. Also there is seating available inside and some outside as well. So you can sit and enjoy your little bit of heaven at this adorable place with a drink if you'd like.

A tiny hovel downtown selling a variety of outstanding cheesecake. Choosing is a difficult task. Decided on the Mango. Light and creamy with just the right amount of sweetness. I really needed an Espresso with it, but, ah well. A nice afternoon treat.Note: Check in for a 5% discount.97

Wonderful cake, cheesecake sliders, and cookies for my grandfathers' 90th birthday! Everyone loved it all; and no leftovers to be had, lol.

Came across this Cheesecake while having dinner at The Stave, in Frankfort,KY ( a different review )It was Apple Caramel Cheesecake.... OMG DELICIOUS!!! So, we took a trip to Downtown Lexington, KY to find her store. Drove through a neighborhood to get there and it looks like a small house turned Bakery business. The counter was full of cheesecakes from which to choose !! We pulled 4 slices to take home. (They freeze well) ). Key Lime, Bourbon Chocolate, Apple Caramel & a plain one that she topped with just caramel. I know they will all be very tasty!! Highly recommended. Everyone near Lexington, KY should stop in !!

This place is a little gem, I had seen people post about this place but have never had a chance to stop by. The place is a cute little house on 6th street with a very homey feeling. I assume the owner was who helped me and she was super friendly and answered all my questions and even provided some of the details of how she makes them. It was a nice experience.The cocoa bomb was really pretty and designed so well. But personally I'm not sure they are completely my thing. But I was glad I got experience the craze.The star of the show is the cheesecake though they've done a really good job with providing really rich flavors without being too overwhelming. They crust on the slices were perfect texture and the cheesecake was creamy and has the perfect firmness for cheesecake. The flavors on both ways were really strong and could tell they worked on perfecting the flavor profiles. I also really enjoyed the variety of flavors and choices provided from the mini cheesecake bites to full slices.

I have never had a bad experience at Backroads Bakery. Ruth Ralph, the owner, is an amazing and creative baker. She has a cheesecake for every palate that will keep you coming back. She also features local artists in her dining room, so there is always something to look at while you enjoy your cheesecake!

I am a bakery hopping fool. I say that to say this is by far my very favorite bakery I've ever been to. Literally made my day so bright. The cheesecake has been made from the lightest region of the universe and came down to backroads bakery on a cloud. Absolutely incredible service and cheesecake! And the happy plants everywhere the aura is 100k+! I'll be driving my 87 minutes again next week.
