Avid Hotels Lexington - Hamburg Area

The room was clean comfortable and quiet. I slept great. The staff was friendly. For these reasons I do recommend this hotel. There are a few things to note. The room is a compact version of a Holiday Inn Express. There is little room to move around. I did not see a coffee maker in the room. The drain in the shower is in the middle thus soapy water runs where you are standing making the surface slippery. The hotel is not located on the main road and does not have easy to spot signage so plug into a GPS.

First impression: Clean modern and friendly! Checkin process was smooth. Checked in online and got to our room quickly. Our King room had all the things we needed and lots of little cubby holes to stash things. No actual closet only hooks to hang things and hanger out in the open. Would not be a good option for me if I was traveling for business but good for quick overnight. Water pressure was a little less than desirableGrab and go breakfast with hard boiled eggs, bagels, Nutrigrain bars, instant oatmeal, and other packaged items. Coffee and good tea selection as well. Bonus that they have a Tesla wall charger there with two plugs at no extra charge. Also a J1772 dual station in the parking lot. A nice budget option in a newer property. The facility was very clean and the rooms were clean too.

This is a great hotel for a stop in Lexington. Tons of restaurants near by and easy entry/exit from highway. I drive a Tesla and was looking for a hotel with chargers. They have two kinds and 4 stations. Seems quite new and is very modern. Reminds me of mid-priced hotels in Europe. Rooms are spacious and clean. I like the no carpeting floors; feels cleaner, but next time I'll bring slippers. The breakfast was surprisingly good; nothing fancy but a wide variety of items with healthy options. Good for grab and go. I had a vegetable egg white omelet. It was in a brown paper bag under hot lights but actually good. They had c a fluttered water machine with both still and sparkling water. Even the coffee good. Grind and brew machine. Avid is from the Holidays Inn line, but is completely different. Very smart move creating a line of inns that caters to the younger hip crowd or the zesty young at heart.

This hotel appears to be quite new. After four nights of staying at a 45 year old hotel, it was refreshing to walk into such an inviting environment. Excellent and courteous service was provided today by the front lobby attendant. Room was very clean and tidy and very modern . We would for sure return to this hotel another time.

Excellent budget hotel with minimalist interior. Very clean (almost new property) and feels secure. Quiet and easy to get a nights rest. Friendly staff! Highly recommend!

We stayed while on the road from Florida back home to Michigan.Great place to stay!Bed was so comfy that we slept like babies.Hotel staff was very polite and accommodating.Got extra pillows upon checkin just in case. Only draw back was the low water pressure in the shower.We will definitely stay again and look for this chain for future stays, everywhere

We loved this hotel! It was modern, and perfect for us while on our road trip cross country. I loved all the things to hang bags on to get them off the floor so our kids didn't get into them the whole time. The room was clean, and the beds were comfortable.

We had such a nice stay at this Avid Hotel last night! The staff is so friendly. Theresa was so helpful when we had a small issue regarding our room. She went above and beyond to make sure we were happy and felt welcome. The hotel feels new and modern and the breakfast is quick and easy. Oh, and the Bunn Coffee Machines have totally spoiled me! We will be back!

I recently stayed at the Avid Hotel property in Lexington, KY for the weekend during my daughter's orientation at UK. Although the front desk staff was pleasant, I was disappointed with not having our room cleaned after the first night. We returned to our room about 6:30pm on March 19th to trash still in the trash can, no fresh towels, and no soap in the dispenser (it wasn't much in there when we arrived). I asked the lady that I saw in the hallway with a cleaning cart and she said she couldn't give me any towels. I had to go to the desk and request fresh towels. I will be returning to Lexington quite a bit in the near future and I was hoping to find a place to stay for all of those future visits. I can't stay in a place that doesn't freshen up rooms. Instead of causing confusion in front of other guests, I wanted to make sure I made my discomforts known another way, so I tweeted Avid Hotel as well as sent an email. I received a response stating that cleaning the rooms for multiple night stays is not a service provided. No problem, I'll never return there again and will make sure everyone that I know will also never do business there. Best of Luck.
