Ashland Florists

I have known and given business to Ashland Florist for years. They have never disappointed me. You also need to know that I have ordered flowers off the internet and have been gravely disappointed. One order was bought over the internet was to be sent Pennsylvania and it never arrived. They put the money in their pocket and hoped we wouldn't figure it out!Only one time, while they were closed for a week on vacation, I had to make a flower arrangement order here in Lexington. It was for a very, very, very special person. Upon arriving at the church, it was horrible. We were embarrassed. My wife and I cried when we discover that it was ours. Ashland Florist would not have done that.Ashland Florist is the best in Central Kentucky. Hands down.

This is the only place I order from in Lexington. Great customer service and always beautiful work.

The staff at Ashland could not be nicer, nor more thoughtful. Since I could not be in Lexington for a memorial service, I found them online to make an order - and since I don't know much about flowers, they made suggestions - and I went with it. The arrangement could not have been more beautiful. My mom sent me a photo of the arrangement, that I include here. Thank you, so much, Ashland Florists for all of you help.

I had to order from out of town and that's always risky. The arrangement that was sent to my friend was more beautiful than the picture on line and was delivered exactly when I wanted it to be. I needed to order a floral arrangement for a funeral in Lexington, Kentucky. I checked to see which Florists were listed in the area. I called Ashland and spoke with a very helpful lady and placed an order with her help. When I attended the Funeral, I was pleasantly surprised. The arrangement was fresh and gorgeous. It was even nicer than I had expected. I will use Ashland's Florists again and I highly recommend them. Great service and a beautiful arrangement!

Worst customer service ever ! The lady mentions that one should not use internet to place any orders. Also, according to this store, if the delivery person has just stepped out of the store for delivery, the computer automatically sends out email and text messages that the flowers are delivered. To add to this, they said, thats how all delivery services including postal services and fedex services work ! haha... its a joke to deal with this store. P.S. Wake up... Its not 1950s anymore !!!

Ashland Florist was recommended to me by a Lexington resident. When I searched for their telephone number, the bad review previously posted on Yelp almost kept me from calling. However, I did. My call was taken by the owner. She was very helpful, it took me moments to describe what I wanted and at what price range. I also gave specific instructions regarding delivery and what I wanted on our greeting card. She understood every bit of it. It is unfortunate that the previous person might have had a bad experience and may have caused my lost business by the rather childish and nasty review. Perhaps that person was being impatient, wasn't sure what they wanted and/or was "put out" that a small business owner in a Southern town isn't as "tech savvy" as she wanted the owner to be.I would highly recommend Ashland Florist. My experience was very positive.
