Hands down a must stay!! Magnolia room is stunning! Bed is super comfy, decor is like a time travel sprinkled with shear elegance. Every thought was put into how guess will enjoy this place. The breakfast was amazing! I am gluten and dairy free and could not even believe the detail they went to for making sure I had plenty to eat for breakfast. I would highly recommend stopping here or having an event here. I almost wanna have an event here just to have one because it's so lovely. You will not be disappointed. Kaydee was a delight as well as the entire staff.

I was here for a modeling shoot so I can't discuss the inside of the house, but we used the entire outdoor and event space. It is simply stunning! The barn event space is beautiful. So beautiful, in fact, I feel bad calling it just a barn. There's an amazing light fixture in the middle and it is very spacious. There's also a lot of natural light to keep it feeling bright and airy. This is the perfect space for a reception. I believe they host a farmer's market inside as well. If you open the back sliding doors, you'll have a wonderful view of the farm. There's a spot on the right hand side of the house that is perfect for wedding photos. The trees canopy over it which creates nice lighting. We did get freshly baked cookies from here and they were the best thing I've ever had! I would love to come back for dinner some time. Overall, if you're looking for a beautiful wedding spot, this is the place.

Absolutely beautiful inside & out! Log on for the next dinner & tea times. Lovely venue for weddings & parties. Bed & breakfast, which we'd love to try, even tho we are a few miles down the road in Paris. Home of my favorite show The Walking Dead. They also sell TWD wines! My boyfriend RSVP'd for the Thursday Thanksgiving Dinner on 11/15/18 at 6:30p. We were starving & expected the food would be ready since they said app's would be served then. $36 for app's, dinner & dessert. They also serve alcohol so it was an absolute deal & the food was delish. When we RSVP'd they asked which of the two courses we'd like:I got THE BIRD - Oven Roasted Stuffed Game Hen, Herb Roasted Root Vegetable Gratin (the best we've ever had) Brown Butter Caramelized Onion Jus.He got THE BEEF - Slow Roasted Prime Rib, medium well, Smoked Horseradish Butter, Au Jus, Roasted Garlic Mashed Potato with Pan Drip GravyBOTH the BEST! Cooked to perfection & wish it was a regular menu item. Fully staffed by a private company w/ a Chicago based Chef Stephen Fightmaster. The app's came out ten past 7pm & ours was stationed in front of the chilly front door so were cold. I'm sure the chef wouldn't have been please & wish the app's were hot & ready upon arrival. The deviled eggs were beautiful! Buttermilk biscuit bites with Bourbon Maple glazed Country Ham and Smoked Gouda, Mini Hot Brown Tartlets, Bacon wrapped Stuffing bites, but no Roasted Stuffed Mushrooms with Broccoli & Cheese Casserole as listed on the Prix Fixe menu. Because everything came out late & the weather was getting worse, we got out desserts to-go. Dessert Trio: Mini Pecan Pie Cheesecake with Smoked Maple Bacon Crunch, Bourbon Sugar Apple Pie with Madagascar Vanilla Bean Ice Cream, Chocolate Ganache Smores Tart with graham Cracker Crumb Crust Bruleed Marshmallow Crème Raspberry, beautiful! We are very much looking forward to next time & that was our only complaint.

I've always been hesitant to stay in a Bed and Breakfast because they were an unknown for me. And I may still be afraid to because my fear would be no other could live up to my experience here! It was a family wedding that got me here and I'm so glad it did. We were blown away by the sheer beauty when we drove up. Walked in and were greeted and shown around by a lovely young woman which started with beautifully appointed gathering and dining rooms. Taken upstairs and outside our room was an filled with anything your heart could desire, another drawer filled with any ice maker, small refrig filled with soft drinks and juice, a snack drawer Keruig you can imagine,all for FREE. I love free.Then we were shown our room. It was so beautiful it took my breath away. All Kentucky type furnishings (think Amish and turn of the century solid cherry). Four poster bed, working fireplace, table and chairs, sofa, desk, fresh baked treats. Down a step into a little sitting room with shelves of teapots and cups, and a large bathroom. Everything is newly redone, its only been open a couple of years. I am happy.That evening the rehearsal dinner was on a covered patio. The food was to die for...really. One of the menu options was filet and everyone who had it remarked you could cut it with a fork. Amazing. I had chicken pasta and that was an excellent choice as well.The day of the wedding we expected to be placing decorations and folding napkins into roses...but no. They did it for us, removing so much stress for the family. And this was the most exceptionally beautiful setting for a wedding. I will post photos of the wedding (when I get them) so you can see the setting. They baked the cake, and again...the food was wonderfully done. And no waiting at the bar!!!Interesting fact...the woman who owns this is the wife of the creator of the Walking Dead. I guess that's based in Cynthiana. Full breakfast provided every morning for guests. I don't have a single complaint, and when have you known me to say that! Now I'm dreaming about spending a snowy afternoon or two here in front of that fireplace. We'll see if we can make that happen!

This place is beautiful, My in laws had surprise 50th wedding anniversary here. Place was well decreased for Christmas. They did a great job with the renovations. The manager says bigger things are coming to the grounds.

Where do I begin. To me, Ashford Acres equals love. I have celebrated my first through fourth wedding anniversary here. I have had family member from Louisiana stay here. I have studied for my nursing school finals with my study group here. I have celebrated my sweet cousin and her husband's marriage here. And even celebrated the life of my late mom here. Each separate situation I have been treated better than royalty, I've been treated like family. The staff works exceptionally hard to make your experience one of a kind and unforgettable. This place is love.

They had prom here tonight and failed to tell me. It took me 20 mins to get into parking lot and there was no spot for me to park. Loud cars and kids screaming along with the beat of the music were not soothing. The pillows on the bed reeked of brylcream. I would not could not recommend this place. .

They host such fun themed events here! I have been to several and my favorite was the Bridgerton themed tea party! The venue is so beautiful!

This review only applies to the dine-in experience. The food is amazing and portions are ample. Everything was very elegant, especially for Cynthiana. The ONLY negative was we were not told when we made reservations that we had to order the food a day prior to our reservation. We received a message saying if we didn't order the food by XXpm, we'd loose our reservation. We had to scramble to get our party's order submitted in such a short time. BUT, once that was taken care of, a great experience. We will definitely return.

Beautiful!! Employees are very nice!! I haven't stayed there or had an event there but it would definitely be a contender if I needed a place!
