Super cool place that I had to find after having some of their chocolates at a bourbon tasting at one of the distilleries. I bought several boxes and have opened and shared two of them so far with friends in DC and will most likely be picking up more the next time I'm in Louisville. The flavor of the individual bourbons actually comes though then eating the different chocolates. To me that's quite an achievement rather than them simply tasting like generic "bourbon". (Kudos!)I was all set to give 5 stars until reading some of the other 5-star reviews where people were raving about their tasting bar. Yes, I saw a bar in the back, but not having been there before I would have appreciated someone working there telling me about it. (And yes, I could have asked what's the deal with the bar . . . . but that's not really my job and you don't know that you don't know until someone explains it to you. The person at the entrance was very nice and informative when I first entered but I probably spent a good half hour or more in the shop, some of that time as the only customer, making my selections with no one in the back room saying a word to me. I would have appreciated banter/recommendations regarding the chocolates or and introduction to the tasting bar.My whining aside, the chocolates are phenomenal! Having a cookout tonight and will open another box or two.

Art Eatables is a must stop!! If you're on Whiskey Row, there is no reason not to stop here. There is plenty of street parking. We walked over from Evan Williams. I saw someone with a bag and asked where it was located. It's super simple to locate. The staff was amazing. I was in heaven due to so many choices. They have them arranged so easy to find what you're looking for. Regular candies and other Whiskey/Bourbon items are upfront. Chocolates with spirits are located in the back. They do offer free samples. The staff is extremely helpful trying to get you want you want.I was pleased to find I could do a tasting there in the back. It's very affordable and lots of choices. The basic tasting was $8 with 4 samples. You can upgrade for a small fee. They have a tasting witchocolatete pairings and a 4th slot you can choose. I did the latter. Mine came with Woodford Reserve Double Oaked, Blade and Bow, Minor Case Rye, and I picked Booker for upgrade. I've always wanted to try Booker. It was only $13.25, which to me was worth the experience. We had a wonderful conversation.I would say definitely stop by here. I will certainly be back and bring friends and family. Lovely gem on Main St!!

This caught my eye when my friend & I were walking around Whiskey Row looking for a place for lunch. We stopped in after we ate, and it's a real treat! Good bourbon selection, great chocolates, and the bourbon & chocolate pairing was a nice surprise. Only $12 for 4 bourbon samples and 3 pieces of chocolate. Really a fun experience.

We were in Louisville trying some of the distilleries on Main Street and found Art Eatables. This was a fun little store, they walked around in the store with samples of their bourbon/whiskey truffles. I liked the truffles so well I purchased a box of them! They are not a distillery but they have bottles from all of the distilleries around town. In the back of the shop is a bar and you can sample up to 4 different bourbons or whiskeys. The name of the bar is "Baptized in Bourbon". You write the name of the whiskey or bourbon on a piece of paper that has four squares on it and based on what you chose the cashier charges you per sample, mine came to $8.50 but it can be as high as $12.50 based on what you choose. The four I chose were Basil Hayden Dark Rye, Four Gate Bourbon, Jeptha Creed bourbon, and Chicken Cock bourbon. They give you the samples on the squares where you have them written and they also give you a bottle of water that has a dropper in it. They have you try the bourbon or whiskey with no water and then to get a different flavor profile you add a couple drops of water. I will probably stop here again when I am in Louisville running around and give a different 4 bourbons a try! Only one card per customer per day.

Stopped in by accident. Did not know what is was and found out it was a chocolate fun store. I was given a sample of their candy and found it to be very good. NO doubt you can taste the bourbon. Since my father loved Wild Turkey I picked up a couple of small boxes to take back home for all to enjoy. Each small box was $11 for 4 pieces. Make sure you ask if they have a discount because they do not mention it. I always ask and this store gave me a military discount of 10%. Thank you. My daughter lives here so when she comes back from Germany I will make sure she goes in to try their chocolate.

Bourbon and chocolate go together like peas and carrots (Forrest Gump). Bourbon truffles are amazing. To my surprise, a tasting bar with chocolate pairing is an added delight, especially days the distilleries are closed. A MUST!

By far one of the best chocolate shops in Louisville! I love supporting this local family shop and had not visited this particular location. So happy I spotted it next to Frazier Museum. The manager and team at this store were incredibly hospitable. The crowd was busy and they gave every person attention and help. Today's stash included chocolate dipped modjeskas, pretzel and caramel chocolate, chocolate covered orange jellies, Ballotin bourbon truffles and gummies. Art Eatables is known for its bourbon truffles but you'll be delighted at multiple other options, including sugar and nut free candies for children and the young at heart.

Came here looking for a bourbon ball which they did not serve. We instead got a sample of a bourbon truffle and bought a bunch of stuff. Cute little store with what seems like high end chocolates and other stuff. They have different bourbon balls fromDifferent bourbon companies.

Pretty cool spot. If you're coming in from out of town it's a great spot to grab some souvenirs that are bourbon themed. The employees are super nice and willing to let you sample some honey finished in a bourbon barrel and chocolates. Nice touch so you can get a state before you commit to buying some product. Inventory doesn't turn over very much, but a solid place to check out. Not sure I'd go out of my way to visit again. Nothing negative to say about the experience so not a 3 star. Not exceptional, so not a 5 star.
