Apiary Fine Catering and Events is an absolutely stunning venue that will leave a lasting impression. I typically would not write a review as a guest, but I have to make an exception for the Apiary. My brother and his wife had their ceremony and reception here the weekend before last and it could not have been more perfect. Complimentary valet parking was available for the wedding and very appreciated. There isn't a ton of parking in the area so this is the perfect solution, especially on a rainy day. Valets were ready to go even when we arrived, about 45 minutes before the ceremony. Just remember cash to tip! The Apiary grounds and building are beautiful and well maintained with historical charm. The grounds were worth exploring with beautiful greenery, stone benches, and water features. The hard cover pavilion was the perfect spot for an outdoor wedding with protection from the rainy day. For a wedding of about 60 guests there was more than enough space. Inside, a lovely gathering room and bar area were comfortable for the time before and in between the festivities. The bridal party had a large cellar area to get ready. The bathrooms were conveniently located in between the ceremony site and reception room. The food here was absolutely amazing and truly on par with a meal at a fine dining restaurant. I live in Las Vegas and it was like eating at a fine restaurant here. The service was over the top with perfect timing and professionalism. The whole service team would line up to serve and remove courses at the same time. The attention to detail really added something to the event. Zero proof cocktails were offered to non-drinkers and the two children in attendance were provided special meals. Our meal started with Caesar Salads. It was one of the best Caesar salads I've ever had and a hearty portion. The Parker house rolls were warm and buttery. The Beef meal had delicious slices of tender beef, crispy potatoes, and green beans. The kid's meal was really tasty with both healthy options and foods kids typically love. The venue was on top of accommodating food allergies by asking each guest if they had allergies before the meal. The groom has food allergies and he was able to enjoy a lovely meal that evening. The Apiary sent an already beautiful event over the top. My brother and his wife made a fantastic choice in where to celebrate their big day.

We came here awhile ago for the Omage experience and it was phenomenal. The decorations were gorgeous. The food was incredible. And the experience itself was amazing! We do have food allergies and the chef made sure we did not contact any nuts! Must go to the bathroom- the mirror selfie has the perfect lighting.

This is a catering event place. But during COVID, they started as a tasting menu place. It was a great experience to make a regular night special or celebrate special event. The tasting menu was delicious, creative and wonderful. The place is nice. I say it's the top in Lexington in my view. It has a nice outside area and herb yard to walk around.

Although I've experienced Apiary's fine food via catering, I had never been inside their venue. From the moment you walk through the gates and through the flora in the garden, you are transported into a hidden world right off the Jefferson Street corridor in Downtown Lexington. This spectacular venue of interior and exterior spaces transports one into a hidden world behind its brick walls. Their state of the art kitchen can be viewed upon entering the building -- what I wouldn't give have the opportunity to cook in that wow of a space. Then there's the food. A premier event space with what I think is some of the best fine catering that Lexington has to offer.

I was here for a wedding and will say the venue is beautiful and the food was beyond delicious probably one of the best wedding meals I've ever had. I had the duck, my husband had the short rib and the salad was to die for with the perfect ranch dressing, simple yet flavorful.

We had our daughter's wedding here on Saturday. Best decision ever!! This place is phenomenal. The food, the venue, the atmosphere, the staff. It was all perfect. Ewing Anne, Cooper, and Tobias are all professionals, who know exactly what they are doing, and will make your event an unforgettable one. I can't believe how they seemed to effortlessly pull off such an elegant event. I got many, many compliments on the food and beautiful space. The staff were all so accommodating. I didn't lift a finger. Just enjoyed every minute of my daughter's big day!! Thank you, Apiary, for making my daughter's wedding dream come true!!

Undistracting excellence! Our Apiary experience at our friends' wedding in June, 2015 makes me wish we lived in Lexington, KY. Every staff member treated us with utmost courtesy, professionalism and good humor. During the reception dinner the servers were completely attentive to the guests. They moved courses out as teams, and accommodated entire tables swiftly and yet without distraction. One guest was served a vegetarian meal with grace and respect. When I gave this friend my asparagus, our server immediately (yet quietly) asked if she could bring me some more. Very nice. And the food! Every course was perfectly beautiful and so delicious. The salad was delicate. The beef tenderloin was the most tender I have ever had. We all kept groaning in delight and commenting to one another as we enjoyed every bite. The dessert course was smooth, with light flavors, and had a fine finish without heaviness or being overly sweet. We were amazed that the dining room had excellent acoustics! We could hear each other at normal conversation level. And the sound system both indoor and outdoor was perfect quality. The outdoor garden patio has comfortable patio furniture for casual conversation. The kitchen gardens as well as decorative gardens are lovely and a beautiful backdrop for any occasion. The one drawback I would would say is bench seating for the wedding ceremony. It's lovely, but for people over 50 might be uncomfortable. But maybe they have other options that we didn't see. Overall, I give the Apiary my top recommendation for any hosted event!
