I stopped in here for their lunch buffet about a month ago while in the area running an errand. I'm always up for pizza, and a buffet is just a quick and easy option. I almost left when I pulled up because the parking lot was kind of dirty. It's an old-school place, which is more than fine by me, but trash in the parking lot often says a lot. Inside, it was dated, but at first glance it looked fairly clean and there was a woman bussing the tables. Good sign, I thought. They have a pick-up counter and I didn't know if I paid beforehand or not, so I asked her. She said either way was fine. However, I noticed that I'd have to get a drink cup up front and she offered to get me one, but never did. She was friendly, but unconcerned. So, I paid in advance up front at the counter. To say that the young girl at the counter that waited on me was sour would be a gross understatement. From the grimace on her face to her curt replies, it seemed that the worst thing that happened to her that day was having to get up and come to work. I got my drink and was happy to see that they had Coke products and Big Red. It was at this point that I noticed how dingy the restaurant was and that the floor was sticky in spots. I hate that. I walked up to the buffet and it wasn't very well-stocked. I decided on a salad first and then I noticed how sad the salad bar was as well. You'll know I'm a brave and fearless woman by the fact that I even attempted to eat a salad from here. There was very little to chose from because they had let everything be depleted and what was there was suspect. I'll be happy to report that I didn't get sick thankfully. There were about four tables occupied and they needed more pizzas on the buffet. I grabbed a couple of slices and sat down. They weren't terrible, but I'm rarely mad at any piece of pizza. Before long, a worker brought out another pizza and it was better. If both the salad bar and pizza buffet had been better stocked and the pizza quality was in line with the second pizza, then I might be okay with three stars on the food. Since that was not the case, two stars on the food is the most I can give. For the service, two stars in max as well. It just felt like a place where the employees not only don't care, but they'd actually prefer it if you didn't even bother coming in. The only saving grace was that my meal was super cheap. I think I paid less than eight dollars for a drink and the buffet. For this reason, and the fact that they had Big Red, I gave two stars. I have no interest in returning and I hope that the owner can straighten out his staff.

We wanted pizza but was tired of the same old same...(Papa Johns, Pizza Hut, Dominos etc.) decided to go with one our childhood faves!Annie's Pizza is really good and for the price can't beat it. Wish they had delivery to my area but because they aren't really that far away, wasn't that bad of a drive. Ordered three, three topping medium pizzas. When I arrived at the time it stated, my food was ready to go! Got it home and they looked good and were still hot! They were delicious just as I knew they'd be! I look forward to going there again.

First off I'm angry because the door talks about a cash discount, but the posted prices are the cash price. You pay 4% extra to use a card, not For today I will over look this because we got a free cinnamon sticks with joining their text club. Now otherwise the pizza is really good. Enough cheese that's is on the edges nice and brown. The pepperoni is a little too spicy but nice and crispy. The sausage is great more flavor than breakfast sausage but not overly green or seedy. Great smoky ham. I had the meat speciality. She got a supreme and enjoyed it but thought some slices had unbalanced topping lots of olives but not much of the others. The sauce is well balanced and when fresh the crust was tasty. The cinnamon sticks were double layered which is nice but still a little dry a good puddle of butter to cook it in would make them excellent. So bring your cash and sign up for the texts. We got a 2 large specialty pizzas for $27.50 deal.

Placed my order online and immediately got a call back to confirm that "it wasn't a prank order." I confirmed it was real and came to pick up the pizza when -to my surprise- they still hadn't made it because "they thought it was a prank order. Ok.. I suppose I can see how this could be an issue, as their 28 inch pie is $50+ so I decided to go ahead and place my order and wait for the pizza. The person behind the register dropped the pizza box on the floor, looked to see I saw.. and said "it's ok it just hit the bottom.." alright, I can roll with that.. but I do know that some people who would absolutely flip out.. so thought that was worth mentioning. The pizza was expensive, about $50.. and it was so large (28 inches) that had to go in my trunk to take home.. They hooked up the condiments and banana peppers, and the pizza itself was absolutely delicious! A great thin crust style pizza that was just as good the next day.I do hope that in the future they will work on their ordering process as to not frustrate future customers that might not have the time to wait around like I did. Overall, I would recommend trying out Annie's.. just be sure that you plan ahead to double and triple confirm your order and have the free trunk space to take it home with you. Now to those leftovers..

I'm more than picky about pizza, and actually would consider myself a sort of pizza snob. I love mozzarella so I have a Golden Rule about not skimping on the cheese, which can really make or break the entire experience. I gladly pay extra for more cheese but most places still undershoot it... not Annie's Pizza, which I discovered a couple months ago. I've never been so impressed with pizza in my life! It is always delivered so hot that I have to let it sit a few minutes before eating. This place is a MUST EAT! You get what you pay for and more.

My personal pan pizza, though smaller than other personal sizes from other places was really good. The inner dough was soft & chewy and the outer crust was crispy. They were stingy with the toppings. Sad because they charge for each topping separately. Their lasagna was no bigger than my personal sized pizza, extremely bland & the pasta noodles were truly al dente. They could have cooked a little longer. Their pecan pie was sad. ALL filling and no pecans, well...some. I called to ask if the pie was made in house? The lady who answered said they're store bought. Pathetic, because it costs $4. Honestly, I got a "Be Our Guest" coupon so I actually only spent $15. Not worth it. Annie's is pretty much a more expensive version of Papa Johns, Pizza Hut, Dominos....u get it. 4 items for $29.95. I would try their pizza again, if someone else bought it LOL. People have gotten so wrapped up in the fact that Annies has been around 4 so long that they dont care that the food isnt the best or that its expensive as hell or both? I should have taken a picture of my pizza but you really couldnt tell the skimp of toppings unless you took my cheese apart. I can however take a picture of this pathetic store bought pie.

Great what I would consider "old school" style pizza, crust, sauce and toppings. I really can't stand chain pizzas. At Annie's everything is quality and tasty, and these are some of the biggest pizzas you'll find in Louisville. A large will easily feed a family of 4-5 for around $40, which is a little more than chains but worth it to support a unique local business in Shively. We'll be back!

I have ordered from this restaurant several times and it always takes a long time. This past Saturday, March 4, 2023. I placed my order on line and I was given an arrival time of 7:30. I began calling the restaurant about 8:00 pm when my order had still not been received. I would either get a busy signal or if it rang once I was hung up on and then I got a busy signal. I finally spoke with a live person and was told my order was next, when I asked her how much longer it would be, since I was given a delivery time of 7:30, I was told they don't give delivery times and she could not tell me when it would be delivered. I asked if I was supposed to wait until midnight to get my order and I was told yes. I then canceled my order. The charge was already pending on my bank card. The restaurant did not back out the charge, and $71.72 was taken from my bank account. I called this evening to see when I would get my money back and was told they didn't get the money and I would have to call my bank for them to reverse the charge. The people are rude and they lack professionalism. They don't care how they treat customers and are very unbending. The only reason I gave it 1 star was because I had to.
