Angelo's in the Gap

My wife, mother-in-law & I went to Angelo's for an appetizer for a quick snack while we were in the area. We ordered the Angelo premium sampler. The wait staff was very nice & the atmosphere had some rustic charm. However, we waited for 30 minutes to get the one, & only one, appetizer that we ordered. The table that was sat behind us ordered an appetizer and they had theirs in 15 minutes. It wasn't the worst we've had, but it wasn't the best. It was most definitely not worth the money they charge for it, nor the time it took to receive it.

The appetizer was cold and the service was ridiculously slow! We got there at 7:45 and our order didn't arrive until 9:20 AND WE HAD TO GO TO THE FRONT TO ASK FOR IT!(the cold appetizer!!) Don't go there on a FRIDAY night they cater to those drinking more than eating! Asked waitress for a to go coke after we were ready to leave(we took our dinners in to go bag cause it took to long!!!!!!She came back upstairs and DID NOT BRING THE COKE. We left!! No apologies, no break on the price! Nothing!! Too bad the place seemed comfortable and inviting! Bad service, ridiculously unnecessary! It was not that busy at all!!!We will go somewhere else!! Hard pass here!!

Pizza, pepperoni was greasy, the type where edges curl and retain the oil. Pizza was decentCalzone was a lot of cust and not one to share,based on size at almost 12$ Antipasto salad, small size was really good with pickled veggies, in house made vinaigrette dressing. Beers could and should have been a lot colder. They do periodically have live music inside

I had high hopes for such a beautiful place that labels themselves as an Italian restaurant. Unfortunately, there was nothing spectacular here. The pasta was greasy and flavorless and I was give bread that was too hard to bite into. My dad did enjoy their burgers though.

My GF & I went over last Saturday to try this place out & wow, it literally blew my mind! Talk about quality food & a nice place just to hangout & have a bit to eat. It's great! 1st if all Angelo's has a Top Tier Bar area with anything anyone wld ever want to drink. Plenty of flat screens mounted all around. And just a skip over to the restaurant area will take you and you're lived one to a magical place I tell ya what. With a roaring fireplace and old stone work & brick work for the floor wrapped in very old wood siding, thts his place is absolutely perfect for a bit to eat or a super nice date night. I love how the sitting is on two different levels. There is LIVE music on the weekends and there's even a game area with a Billiards poor table and the best shuffle board you ever played. My GF and I played it for about 45min and even lost trk of time. Lol. It was very fun. I wld be remiss if I didn't mention the pizza! It is incredible! It's cooked with a stone brick oven & is some of the best quality I have ever eaten. I had the stuffed crust and when I went back I had the thin crust and it was just amazing. Just some of the absolute best around. So if you're looking for the PERFECT place to either hangout or have a date night or even to just take out the wife and kids then Angelo's is the answer! There's even an AIR BNB upstairs with over 1100sq ft of room. Very affordable and very nice. The room even has its own pool table as well. Very cool. Like I said I've been twice in one week bc I enjoyed it so much. I give this place and it's quality of service & food 5/5 hands down.

Just moved to this town while my gf is in school and this is definitely going to be a regular spot. They have darts, decent amount of indoor seating, and huge patio. Great spot to grab some inexpensive cold beers (good variety of IPAs and other craft beers on taps along with your basic domestics) and some bar food. We had a pizza for the table - no complaints.A special shoutout to the owner. We came here with my gf and her parents and when we walked in we were informed they were shutting down for the long 4th of July weekend. He told us to try Gap Creek down the street and if they weren't open he'd open up the kitchen for us. There's no way we would have made him do that even if Gap Creek was closed but I'll never forget that and it was a great first impression of this business.

Angelo's is the best place on Earth! Ask for Christmas in a glass! Kevin is the best owner in the world and really makes you feel like family when you're here. I love their chicken tenders and fries and the tristate peak drink is so delicious. The atmosphere is something special. Come experience it for yourself!

Most delicious sauce I have ever tasted!! Perfectly tomatoey and homemade they even sell it jarred. excellent service they brought my dog water and some cooked chicken breast. 10/10 Outside sitting is shaded and relaxing.

Ended up leaving and not eating here. Service was extremely slow, even with the restaurant empty. Didn't stick around. Very small and clustered basement ambiance.

Extremely disappointed. Staff seemed untrained, person identified as owner was rude to us. Food was not good. appeared to be mass produced, fridge food marketed as homemade. Worst takeaway? The restaurant was very dirty. I would hate to see their kitchen. Will not be back.
