Andy's Frozen Custard

I went today to take advantage of a coupon for a free kid's sundae with a minimum purchase of $5 or more? I ended up getting there at 10:41 a.m. and I knew they were closed. I wanted to check out the prices on the menu because the website and the app do not show prices. There was one gal who was working and she stated that she would still serve me. That is REALLY above and beyond customer service. I enjoyed both items that I ordered.

8/25/24 My husband and I came here for the first time as we are having it for a dessert. Andy's is a fantastic spot for ice cream! We ordered the James Brownie Funky Jackhammer with hot chocolate fudge, and it was absolutely delicious. This place is either a drive thru or a walk up to the window as they don't have a sit down option. The service was top-notch, with friendly staff who got my order out quickly. Highly recommend for anyone with a sweet tooth!

$7.41 for a medium! Boot daddy with vanilla custard. A little expensive but very good! I usually sub vanilla for chocolate custard.

Great food and friendly service. Love the seasonal options. My kids enjoy different items.

A delightful place to stop or swing by to get a frozen treat! Andy's has quite a menu from cones, cups, sundaes, shakes and concretes all with deliciously rich and smooth frozen custard. For this trip, I picked the nutty waffle concrete which had large chunks of waffle cone, nuts, chips of chocolate and vanilla custard. It was very good and the small was the perfect size. As for atmosphere, there are a a few benches outside to sit around and enjoy your treats (in the summer I could easily see those filling up quick) and there is also a drive thru for you to grab your custard on the go.

My 1st visit this week, and I was not impressed. My order was not "frozen"....was half melted and runny when I got it at the window. Included strawberries, which were plentiful....and also were obviously not fresh, from a can, and had no flavor. So they tasted like gelatinous lumps. Included "hot fudge" in the middle.....which was no way hot nor warm, did not taste fudgie, and had the consistency of school glue. The chocolate custard did taste chocolatey. I'm not likely to go back and spend $6-7 each for this again. Can do much better at a nice ice cream shop with real ingredients for similar or less pricing.

UPDATE - Well, this is a company that puts customers first. They saw my review and reached out to apologize. AND they sent me a hand-written card with several coupons for free treats. Accidents happen, but Andy's made it right, and then some!! I'll be back, and not just to use my coupons. First time trying Andy's. Unfortunately, I ordered a medium, and my kid ordered a small. The small had more in it than my medium. I guess I'll order the small next time so I can get more.

Friday night outing with the family. The wait wasn't long and service was quick. Prices comparable to other ice cream shops. They offer a ton of options. No tables only benches which was a bummer since we ended up having to get ice cream and leave since the benches were all full and our kids hands were too cold to hold it for too long. My son ordered the 3crete and he said it was the best ice cream he's ever had. My daughter got a mint choc chip milk shake but we ended up with a spoon and not a straw. But she still enjoyed it.

Fast service and delicious ice cream! Truly delightful on warm summer evenings. Generous servings.

Number one you've got to love frozen custard but it just tastes like smooth ice cream to me.Second it gets busy but they have a window and drive thu plus efficient staff.Who by the way are friendly which is much appreciated. I have had their Ozark sundae each time perfect and creamy chocolate sauce!
