A New You Day Spa

Tiffany is a great masseuse. I've now had two massages here and the actual massages are nothing short of excellent. I took off a star for a few reasons: 1. The person at the check in desk has never been friendly at all. With a spa experience that's what you hope for. 2. There's a little "help yourself" coffee and tea bar but it's never offered before or after the massage, and it's quite awkward when no one introduces that as an option especially because it could be when you first walk in and check in. Other than that, it's a clean facility, and Tiffany has been great.

UPDATE: Y'all might have seen a previous post from me where I talked about what happened after receiving an eyelash lift and tint at a Spa in Lexington. My eyes closed completely and I was without sight for a few days. I'm still experiencing periodic lingering eye issues.It's interesting that this letter was never sent to me directly. It's clear that these folks are just grasping. I guess places have 5 reviews because they delete the 1 and send you a cease and desist letter. What's the purpose of Google and Yelp reviews?Anyway, I'll never see financial help from them for my medical expenses and will delete my posts so that no one's time is wasted. I did report the Spa to the Lexington Health Department and the Kentucky Board of Cosmetologists because the Spa never did a health and safety skin test. Stay healthy and safe, y'all.

My eyebrows have turned grey and all of the rest of my hair is red! Ashley took such good care of me. Dyed them cleaned them up! I feel like a new woman!!

Nothing is more amazing than hoping off an early morning flight to drop right into heaven. That is the positive energy you experience the moment you enter the doors. I felt so welcomed from the start. Loved that the ladies walked around barefoot and comfortable. Not an ounce of stuffiness, which is impossible as it smells so good in the building. I booked a massage and facial bundle for a very economical price. First up the massage by Alexis she knew her stuff. She asked questions and concentrated her effort on the brick in my left shoulder blade. For weeks I've been popping into places for chair massages but to no avail. However Alexis has fingers of magic I would have booked another hour. I've been to many places including Thailand and this is only the 2nd massage received that would compare. I had the honor of having the facial done by none other than the owner Ashley. It's been a few years since stepping thru Mario Badescu for a facial monthly however I would say the facial here was just as top notch. The next time I touch down here early this will be my first stop before the Bourbon!

Got my first Brazilian wax with Ashley. She was super professional, easy to talk to. Was please with how clean everything was. Definitely will be back12/18/18- loving the new updates and expanded services!!!

My husband get me a massage for my birthday/our anniversary. I was a little hesitant at first, but I was put at ease as soon as I arrived. Thelma was a masseuse and she did a wonderful job making me feel comfortable. The massage was great and I know I'll definitely be back!

I have been going to Ashley for years and have never been disappointed. I am now going to to Heather and am just as pleased as I have always been. This is a great spa with great and courteous employees. I would recommend this to everyone and have. Keep up the great work Ashley.

If you enjoy treating yourself, go see Louise Teater for a Mani Pedi. Her private room and super comfy massage chair add to the relaxation. I've gone several times and I'm always appreciative of her careful attention to detail and dedication to cleanliness! I'm spoiled now and won't go anywhere else

I referred my sister's boyfriend to this location to buy her a facial for Valentine's Day and she had a terrible experience. During the facial her hand was burnt by the steamer and when she brought it up they told her "oh" no apologies or burn cream. Most of the products put on hurt instead of making this a relaxing experience and when she told her tech they dismissed her and said "it's supposed to". The next day her face swelled up from having an allergic reaction to their products. When she spoke with the owner and showed her how swollen she was she was again dismissed and told her that her face already looked like that and gave her a list of ingredients in the products they used. Safe to say we will not be back and I would advise anyone to steer clear!
